Great bag! I bought this to take to Disney World and it was perfect. Room for at least one water bottle, my wallet, tickets, gum, etc. It's not too big like a diaper bag and it wasn't heavy on the shoulder. I will use then for traveling from now on.

I bought this specifically for our trip to Disneyland. I wanted something that I could wear as a cross-body and hold a lot stuff, including a water bottle. It did hold a lot, including two water bottles which was really helpful while at Disneyland. My biggest gripe with this bag is that the plastic adjuster that slides on the strap to lengthen/shorten the strap is very poorly placed. I am 5'7" and for this bag to hit me at the hip that plastic piece sits exactly on my shoulder. After 8 to 12 hours of that thing digging into my shoulder (the bag was heavy with snacks, sunscreen, water bottles, etc.) I did not want to carry this bag anymore. Luckily it is pretty unisex looking so my husband did not mind carrying it, and the strap was long enough that it could be lengthened to his comfort. But he did notice that it dug in, too but on his chest rather than his shoulder. Other than that, it was a great bag and met our needs very well.

I have had this bag for about a month now, and it has simplified my life! I ordered if after becoming quite frustrated with a "bottomless pit" bag, and I have been so happy with it. Everything is where it's supposed to be! I particularly like the front organizer section, and the strap that easily goes from one shoulder length to an across-the-body length.

I really like it! It’s very practical, you can have all your stuff well organized. I use one of the water pockets for my camera and the other one for my sunglasses.

I love my new Overland bag. It was just what I needed. It is sturdy, spacious and versatile. There is a space for everything and the 2 side pockets are great for water bottle, sunglasses, or umbrella.

This is the 2nd one of these bags that our family has bought for our teenage daughters to travel with. Absolutely prefect. The 1st one bought several years ago when my older daughter was traveling to Mexico. We just bought the 2nd one (on the 1st daughter's recommendation) for the daughter traveling in Costa Rico this summer. Gives them a sense of being responsible for their property and aware of there surroundings. Would be excellent for any kind of travel, hiking, etc.

I chose this purse because I needed something for the summer that was light weight and not black. Something to travel with. I was worried at first that the purse would be too small and I almost sent it back but read the review by another person and she thought the same, so I thought I would keep it and try it out. It turns out it really is perfect. There is plenty of room in the main pouch. There is a contrasting color of fabric on the inside which makes items easy to find (they don't get lost in the black hole!) Under the flap there very soft lined pocket which is perfect for my readers and my driving glasses. There is a place to tuck in those pens. The side pockets easily hold water, cell phone, sunglasses. And a hook for the car keys. An inside pocket I wish had a zipper. an outside seems flat to the surface, you can't gget anything thick in there but its great for envelopes or receipts. I love how the shoulder strap can be adjusted from super long to short so you can wear it over one arm or slung diagonal across the body. I really want another one that is similar but a tad bit larger, so I can carry even more stuff, like an iPad or Netbook.

I have this bag from several years ago. I have used it exclusively as my daily bag since then. It show no signs of wear! Looks like the day I bought it. The black canvas hasn't even faded. I love the side pockets; I keep a small water bottle stashed in one side at all times and my sunglasses in the other. The bag is tall enough for my check book to stand on end for easy access. My only complaint is the strap is a bit stiff and irritating when worn around a bare neck. Maybe the current model is improved? Great bag. If mine actually ever wears out, I will buy another!

I bought this bag for a trip to Disneyland, and it worked perfectly! I am usually a big bag snob, and I hate seeing people wear hip packs or awful backpacks in amusement parks, but I have kids and you do have to carry enough things for them. The outside flap which holds all of your money, keys, phone, camera, etc without any digging on the interior of the bag is so great, I am tempted to make it my everyday purse! I also can hold a couple bottles of water on the sides if you don’t mind making it heavy! Love the bag, it was a great purchase!

Quick delivery and great price. It was a useful travel bag, but the front pockets area under the flap was not a secure area. The first time it tipped over, everything fell out of that part of the bag. I decided not to use that area, which was disappointing. Loved the side pockets for water bottle and umbrella, the back pocket for guidebooks, and the large main pocket for a raincoat or sweater, etc.

I purchased this purse to take on an overseas trip this June. It is big enough to hold my camera, wallet, and purse items. It also has a slot for a water bottle. The over the body strap is very comfortable. This is a good buy for a travel purse.

This bag will serve quite well as a day-pack for an overseas trip (the reason I bought it). It looks good, is made well, and has lots of organizing pockets. The strap is rather stiff, though -- wearing the bag with a tank top left me with red marks across my neck and shoulders. Also, the inside dimensions of the bag are technically accurate, but the top opening is a bit smaller than the width across the bottom (where it was measured). That means that if you have an item very near the maximum dimensions of the bag (like a netbook), getting it in and out of the bag is possible, just not easy, convenient, or probable with other items in the bag. The little side pockets (think mini-umbrella & water bottle) are pretty awesome. Good for those wishing to travel light.

I was excited to use this bag for my trip to Vegas. Everything fit in there very nicely - large SLR camera, wallet, small cosmetic bag, sunglasses, phone and a bottle of water in the side pocket. Unfortunately, the velcro closure in the front started coming apart almost immediately and by the end of the 3-day trip was hanging on by a thread. So, I have to return this bag after only one use. Too bad.

How did I ever live without this bag? I have been buying designer handbags. Ugh, what a waste of money! It has so much room for everything. I like the fact that I can carry 2 bottles of water in the side pockets, I never lose my keys inside of it. A place for my glasses, cell phone, pocket knife...it is great.

I have the Auburn, but decided I wanted a new, functional bag for this fall so I ordered the Donner. The poppy color was more "brick" colored than orange and I missed in the description that the front flap had a velcro closure. I know some of the reviews have really liked the security of the velcro, but for me it was a clumsy transition and I couldn't "sneak" into by bag at meetings. I prefer the magnets. So, I am ordering another Auburn for the magnetic closure and the option of a cross over body style.

I absolutely love this bag! It is absolutely perfect for traveling. All the pockets and compartments are so convenient and it is pretty, too!

This purse is great. Each side pocket can fit a water bottle, Kleen Kanteen, or a small umbrella. The front organizer section is well thought out. The Donner holds a lot without being gigantic in dimensions. It can be worn over the shoulder or cross-body.

When I first got this bag I thought it too masculine (navy blue). After trying it out, I love it. It works great for how I use it with the different compartments as well as the side areas I can an put a bottle or sunglasses into. There are smaller pockets within the flap area, one of which has a soft fabric on the inside which I really appreciate for my cell phone. This is a keeper for me.

As an orthopedically challenged woman who walks with forearm crutches, this is the very best bag I have ever had! I strongly recommend this bag for all women who are mobility challenged and need crutches or other devices to walk. We don't have our arms available to carry a purse, so this cross body style is awesome! This bag has a pocket on each end that holds a water bottle without having to open the bag to get to it. This is important when medications make you thirsty. There is just so much organization in this bag...it helps me in all areas of my life. There is a "leash" for my keys, and even a super soft pocket for eyeglasses, etc. If you walk with crutches or other mobility devices, this bag is for you! It is also very lightweight, so no extra weight to carry. The strap is wide, so it's comfy. I love this bag! If I could give this bag 10 stars, I would!

I had a similar bag made by Keen that finally after a few years just wore out. I was so glad to find this one. It is so practical with its many pockets and places for water bottles.

I got this bag for an upcoming trip. I am currently breaking it in so I will be used to where everything is stashed inside. It is a very versatile bag and well made. I like it because of the front pocket organizer, inner and outer slip pockets and especially the bottle holders on both sides. It's easy to use as a cross body or shoulder style bag. It's easy to adjust the strap and it's wide enough to be comfortable when the bag is loaded. It's not even too heavy when holding a full bottle of water. What I don't like is the front flap is a little too long and floppy, the outside front pouch very useful but a bit on the shallow side, and the bag itself deeper than I usually like and the zipper opening a bit narrow for the depth. I wanted to love this bag because it got great reviews. I think it looks great in the Navy Blue and will be quite useful while traveling, but my overall thoughts are it's just okay.

Great roomy bag, well designed but a bit clunky. It came in second and was returned and the bag that was kept was the sleeker and more secure PacSafe. But that aside, one of the things I was looking for was a design that allowed the main compartment to be locked with a small TSA type lock to keep sticky fingers out of it. That kind of lock up was very simple with the double ended zipper on this design.

I have purchased and used the Donner bag by Overland for several years. These handbags are very sturdy and keep their shape. The design has been improved by making the front outside pocket one piece. If you are petite, this bag is the right size. The wider bottom on the bag allows you to put a lot of stuff in without making the bag look bulgy. I find that it is easy to find your stuff when rummaging around in the bag. Pretty liner materials, too. The dove grey is a nice neutral color. The handbag is well made. This style is a cross between a conventional handbag and a messenger bag withoutthe size and heft. Glad to see that Zappos has this style available.

This bag is amazing. It's perfect for outdoor use and there is so much handy storage!

Great bag for traveling and schlepping. Keeps everything organized. Room on side pockets for a water bottle and umbrella. I bought 2 for myself and 1 as a gift for a friend who loves it too.
