The style of this shoe is cute for a casual shoe, and the one and one-half inch heel gives a nice look for wearing with pants. The shoe is comfortable for casual wearing, but the one afternoon when I walked around the city revealed that the inner sole is far too thin and gives little support. After forty minutes, the area under my toes was compressed and uncomfortable. I would not recommend this style for a vacation where you will be walking a lot around London, Rome, or New York. The shoe is marketed as "antistress," but is not well-enough constructed to live up to that.

Riekers Louise 80 shoe. Very comfortable, but not much support -- the whole sole is so flexible, I don't think I can walk on hard surfaces with them. They fit beautifully, and the ruching is cute. Heel height just right -- most shoes are too high for me! Needs a metal or firm plastic shank or something!

I bought these shoes to wear on a recent trip to Rome and Florence, Italy. They were touted as great travel shoes. THEY ARE NOT TRAVEL SHOES AT ALL! They stretch out very quickly and gave me little support. Good thing I was in Italy where incredible shoes abound and I was able to purchase better shoes. They are easy to slip on, but I have now slipped them off and sent them to Goodwill.

Cute shoes, no arch support, and they squeak! How can a lady wear shoes that squeak every step? I would maybe use my orthotics but that won't fix squeaking shoes.
