Heaven, right out of the box! I read the reviews and they were accurate. This shoe looks great and is extremely comfortable. I think they will be my "go-to" every day shoes for some time to come.

This very well might be my favorite shoe purchase of the year. They fit true to size, so comfortable that I wore them all day on my feet right out of the box the first time. No blisters, no aching, just a great pair of shoes...going to look for more shoes and boots made by these Rieker folks. Thanks Zappos for all my previous returns of other brands before loving this one.

These are possibly the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned - straight out of the box. I forget I have shoes on when I am wearing them. The leather is so smooth and buttery. It's thin enough that the shoe conforms to your foot perfectly. My only gripe is that these do not really look good with a skirt; they are really only pant shoes.

I really like these shoes but unfortunately they are too big on me. I'm confused because Rieker 36 is my normal size and I have other pairs that fit me perfectly. I looked through other reviews of this Louise shoe and it appears that people think it runs true to size. So what is wrong with my pair? Would have liked to have kept, but will return.

I ordered Rieker boots a few weeks ago and fell in love with the brand so decided to try shoes. Wow! So incredibly comfortable. I have a wide foot but these fit like a glove, with plenty of room in the toe area. I have knee problems so worried about the heel since I have resorted to flats for the past 5 years. Leather is so soft. No break in period. Put them on and wore all day. Absolutely love them! Thanks, Zappos, for being patient in my quest for a comfortable heel! You are, without doubt, my #1 go to online!

I had been looking for a comfortable slip on shoe to just keep by the door for when I'm running out to the store or to walk the dog. They were super comfortable the minute I put them on, like slippers almost. They have a funky, Dickens/Laura Ingalls vibe that makes them more interesting than a loafer or ballerina slip-on. Love.

Sturdy and elegant. Not as supportive as lace-up shoes but could easily spend an entire day wandering around city museums without having my feet hurt. Received multiple compliments the first day I wore them.

Love this shoe. It fit perfectly. Normally I wear an 8 wide. I wasn't sure an 8 medium would work for me, but it does. It was a little hard to get on at first. But once on it feels great and looks great.

I am 71 years young & I love this shoe. It's funky looking, very comfortable perfect fit even with socks, soft leather...feels like buddah; from the moment I put them on they felt like I've owned them for years.

Love these shoes...my "wicked witch of the west" shoes with which I wear socks that fit the description. The heels are wide for me, but my heels are narrow and my metatarsal arch is wide, so...overall they feel like wonderful soft leather ballet shoes!

I bought these shoes for a winter trip to Australia, and they were great: no break-in period, no blisters, comfortable, dressy enough with dark jeans. I could have traveled with these shoes only and been happy. Boots or shoes that don't lace/buckle up often slip in the heel for me, but these did not. Great purchase. One thing to watch out for is the gathering on the top of the shoe isn't necessarily uniform. For example, the left shoe may be more textured than the right one.

This is the second pair of Rieker shoes that I own and have now decided that I will only buy Rieker. They are so comfortable! It literally feels like these shoes were custom-made for my feet.

These shoes are comfortable, quirky but cool looking, and I have other pairs in different colors. Hard at my age to find comfortable shoes that don't look clunky.

I love these shoes! They are so flexible and lightweight, and the heel is just the right height...just high enough to feel a bit dressy.

Just like other Rieker boots I've ordered, these are comfortable right out of the box, and stay comfortable all day. They are weirdly cute...someone I work with called them hobbit shoes. But they look great with pants or skirts. I just wish they came in more colors, because I'd definitely get another pair.

I have pair of black Rieker Milla boots that I love, so I ordered this shoe in Medoc, a pretty red/brown color. They felt really good right away, and I have a hard time finding shoes that are comfortable. I took a chance and wore them for a long day of shopping and errands (with some slip-on Merrells in the car, just in case), and they were comfortable the whole time. I think they are cute, they make my size 10 (42) foot look smaller and narrower, and the heel is perfect with either jeans or nice pants on a night out. I loved these shoes/booties so much that I ordered them in Smoke and Black. The black was a little big, so I am returning them, but the Smoke is dark enough to wear with black pants. I'm so happy I found these!

These shoes are super comfortable. In my opinion, they look attractive. I wear them to work ("business casual") and everywhere else!

Most comfortable leather shoe I have ever worn. The expression "fits like a glove" now means something to me--these fit like a glove. And they look very funky and cool and different, which I didn't think I'd like because I'm conservative, but I love these babies! Grab them!

These shoes fit to size and also hold the foot like a glove. They are super comfortable and I love the low heel, which is hard to find in a cute shoe.

I have a hard time with winter shoes that aren't boots. These are perfection. Love them. I'm new to the brand but think they may be my new favorite. I ordered the red b/c it's a fun color. It's a great shade - enough of a statement w/o being too bright.

I wear size 8½ and ordered the recommended 40, which was too loose; I exchanged them for a 39, which fit perfectly. They are very soft, fun, and funky. I added a thin insole for added support. I plan on wearing these with an evening dress as well as skinny pants.

Very stylish, great color for fall and winter, most comfortable right off the bat and all through the day. Love these shoes! Oh, and great arch support.

This shoe is like walking on a cloud. It is comfort with a capitol C. Not only does it look good it feels great! This is a shoe that I can wear all day long and it looks great. Kudos once again to Rieker!

Very very comfortable shoe... wish the heel was a little different, no big deal and it's wonderful leather, soft and comfortable. I have high arches and Rieker shoes usually do the best for me without using orthodics for shorter wear time..

These were comfortable from day one. I could walk 5 miles in these. shoes.
