I was looking for the other color combination that is beige suede and since they didn't have them in my size chose Hemp/Cocoa instead. They came (next day, of course). I put them on and wore them for the next two days straight. They are very comfortable, true to size and well made. They are a nice leather, too. I am glad for the leather which is more all weather than suede. I love them.

I love this shoe! It is very comfortable and not too bulky.I plan to wear them with black pants and a white tailored shirt maybe a plaid tie. I have slightly narrow feet and they fit perfectly. 1960 look and school girl goth.

Great saddle shoes. I have owned a pair of Bass saddle shoes for a number of years, and I wanted a new pair. I was so happy that Zappos now carried the Bass brand of saddle shoes. I ordered the Hemp/Cocoa Leather, and they are very nice looking. I broke them in by taking them out of the box. I ordered from Zappos because of free shipping both ways. They even sent it overnight at no extra charge. Great company. Not only would I order another pair of these shoes, I would definitely order from Zappos again.

Lovely shoe. I have my desk set up at work so that I stand most of the day: these shoes did just fine for me (I wear Euro 39 and Amer 9 M).

I really like the look of this shoe the black on black reminds me of my Shofolks black leather and suede ruffle boots. Very well priced. Additionally they are very comfortable, stylish, and the black on black makes then a little edgy. I'll be wearing these until the soles fall off.

These fit true to size; I ordered a size nine and they fit well, though a bit narrow in the toe box--but that\\\'s with wearing socks. I\\\'ve been looking for oxford style shoes with a saddle-shoe-look and these not only fit the bill but they have rubber soles which translates into comfort and stability when walking around the city. Can\\\'t wait to wear them for fall!

I have looked for a pair of these for years. I had a pair all through high school and college and wore them until the soles fell off (literally). Thank God Bass brought them back. The fit is perfect, the shoes are comfortable and high quality and the price was great. Truthfully, I would've been happy to pay more, but I am thankful to get such a good deal. Buy with confidence. These shoes get 2 thumbs up!

The shoes arrived earlier than I expected, and the look and quality is great, as is the price. Unfortunately they are a little larger than I expected, so I will have to return them. The smaller size has not been available for a couple of months, I've been waiting. So I will probably have to exchange them for something else. But since Zappos also carries Ariat, my favorite brand of cowboy boots, finding something else will be no problem. This is a great company, I bought shoes from their store some years ago and the service there was great, too.

Editing my first review of Bass Enfield in Aztec/Wheat, I decided to go with the 8W because the 7W was so narrow. Must have been mis-marked because the 8W fit fine. It goes well with khakis for summer, glad I tried them again. Leather is a bit stiff, but I think with wear, they will soften up; good insole and arch support. Good service, Zappos!

The Bass Enfield shoe is cute. I wear a true narrow and I would say these are just a little bit wider than a true narrow, but with the laces you can tighten them up and get by. The toe box has room which is nice, because sometimes with narrow shoes the toe box can be too narrow for those who really just need a narrow heel. The shoe is a heavier shoe; i.e. it is not lightweight. There is virtually NO arch support whatsoever. But, to wear for a day and enjoy the styling, these shoes fit the bill.

Nice shoe, 7W Bass Enfield in Dune/Wheat, goes well with khakis. Unfortunately for me, this shoe is the smallest & narrowest 7W I have ever seen! I normally take a 7 or 7-1/2 wide to accommodate my problem feet, and don't have a problem. I cannot get these on my feet! They may be mis-marked sizewise, but they will have to go back. So narrow I am afraid to try a larger size (they seem small overall). But great service as usual for Zappos - don't know how I would ever find shoes if it weren't for Zappos!

I ordered these in the brown\/tan suede and the dune\/wheat. Disappointed in the dune\/wheat color, but the brown\/tan look amazing. The fit is great. I have a wider foot, and these fit like a dream right out of the box. Yet, they are cut narrow along the instep and heel, so they look good. I ordered a half size up to accommodate my wider foot, and there is a little play. This tells me that they probably fit true to size.

The classic saddle shoe is back (in)! These shoes are very comfortable from the get-go, and versatile as well. They ran a half-size too small for me (usually an 8.5, returned for a 9). But I have received any number of compliments on them and am very pleased with the style. I think they will only look better as they get older. Almost want to get the other colors.

Love these shoes. I've been trying to find a pair of oxfords, but all of the men's shoes I'd tried on were either too big or they would cut into my foot/ankle around the edge. Finally I found these and they're perfect! Not a ton of support inside, but they do have nice cushion. The leather isn't soft, but I didn't have any problems with it digging into my skin, no blisters after wearing them for the first time! Love the suede/leather mix and red sole. They look awesome with tights and a wool skirt for fall.

These look a little inexpensive (I would go so far as to say cheap). The beige color is attractive. The problem is the shape. The toe box is narrow more of an '80s rather than a '50s cut. And it is shaped like a loaf of bread so the width is in the middle. I need an 8.5W/9W and the length on the 8.5 was fine but the toe area not wide enough and the the heel so big I was walking out of them. There is not quite enough room in them to fit a hard orthotic. There is no arch support in the shoe.

I have had two pairs of these Bass saddle shoes. They fit great and got me lots of compliments. My problem is that they don't last any time at all. On both pairs, they quickly developed a deep crack across the sole, all the way through so that my socks got wet if it rained! I think the sole is too inflexible or something. I would not buy these again except perhaps to wear on stage.

After an exhausting search for this item, I found the product at Zappos.com. Quality of the item is excellent, but the customer service that I received was the best that I have experienced in online buying. When the item had to be exchanged, Zappos shipped the item for next day delivery, even before I returned the product - the item being purchased was for a student, this service helped us immensely. All the large corporations can learn a lesson from Zappos customer service.

After 6 months of wear, the sole broke through one of the rows of slits in the pattern across the ball of the foot. Now that water and dirt infiltrate the interior, the shoe is unwearable.

I liked these, but I returned them after reading too many reviews about the sole splitting after just a few wears. They are not worth the price, in my opinion, if they are not going to last very long.
