Buy your normal size. I read reviews and bought a size smaller; it's too short. So order your normal Naot size. I am now returning the 39 for a 40. Thank goodness they still have the purple glitter shoe in stock; it's adorable on! can't wait to get my size. By the way, I have sensitive feet and narrow feet and they feel great, even though this pair is too short!

Amazingly comfy from the first time I put them on. I have plantar fasciitis and I can wear these shoes all day, no problem. I also have narrow feet and they are fine, especially with the velcro. Since I've bought them I don't want to wear anything else, and can feel the difference when I have to wear other shoes.

Order a size smaller than you would with other shoes. I normally wear a solid size 7 but their size 7 was a full size too large, even with thin socks. \r\n\r\nThese shoes are every bit as cute as they look, and will look fabulous with jeans or any other long slacks. If you want to wear them with capris, they are probably comfortable enough to do so without socks.\r\n\r\nIf you have heel spurs this probably won\'t be the shoe for you, because the heel is lower than in most shoes with this much support.\r\n\r\nHowever, if you have heel pain due to fallen arches, most definitely try this show on. The arch support in this shoe is excellent, which usually translates to proper structural alighnment and relief for painful heels caused by arch issues.

I have loved and used Naot Kirei for years, size 8 medium, and even though my foot is wider at the front and average at the back, they always fit perfectly and are so comfortable. The same brand and style shoe that I just received, however, is cut differently, higher at the side at the front of the shoe and not fitting closely and properly to the foot at that point. When measured with my others of the same style, there is a definite difference. This is a handmade shoe, so I'll return it and try again in the fall. Hopefully they haven't changed the cut of the shoe!

I had many pairs of Naot Kirei. The leather in this one has a very interesting color, with a metallic sheen but rather muted. It will match lots of outfits. Naot quality is down since my last purchase. The insoles seem less sturdy, the strap does not fit the same on both sides. It is still a good choice for walking and going out. I wish the manufacturer had included a how to page for care of this novelty leather.

Gorgeous show, but my feet tend to pronate and thin-ness of the strap does not offer enough support to the ankle to prevent this so had to return.

I bought these shoes on the strength of many positive reviews. While more than I usually pay for shoes, I’ve had such a hard time finding black walking shoes suitable to use for work and for my needs so hard, I was willing to pay it. The shoes looked great and fit correctly…but the heels slip. In the past I’ve tried heel correction inserts for this, but they truly never worked or fell off. So sadly, I’m returning them.

The materials feel good. I need a wide toe box but a narrow heel, and I have a high arch that I like to feel some support under, so it's hard to find shoes that feel comfortable. These do, so far!

I have been wearing this style for years. Ordered a new pair today and they are shorter by about a half size. Hoping the next size up will not be too big. I don't have to wear my inserts with these shoes, there is excellent arch support. I have a high instep as well and these do not bother me.

I ended up taking a 41 in this shoe, which is what I usually wear in Naot shoes. They were comfortable right out of the box. My only concern is that I can feel the velcro along the edges of the straps rubbing the tops of my feet a bit... I hope this doesn't cause any irritation after a long day of wear.

New stock doesn't run large? I ordered as recommended ( a size smaller) it was way too small. I ordered my normal size - I have other shoes in the European size - and the shoe was still too small! This shoe looks great, well made, I'd love it to fit. Right now I have to wait for Zappos to process two returns before I can try and find black Mary Janes that fit as well as my beloved discontinued Keens.

I kept this shoe in 36 because I liked the Polar Sea blue color very much. (The Rongo in 35 was my favorite but was too short.) The style is nice, and the various textures add interest. I wore them around the house for several hours but did not find them all that comfortable. The arch support was a bit high for my flat feet, and the leather is stiff and somewhat unforgiving. I put in inserts to adjust the velcro strap. I think they will be okay for short walks, like restaurant and theater. However, I would not be able to wear them for all-day walking.

Very cute shoes. For those looking for excellent arch support, they're great. I need to use an orthotic, but because of the arch support, it didn't fit. I also found them a little narrow, and I don't have wide feet. I would keep them, but for the pricey amount, am going to return them.

Archidipedico Scala are a great alternative, but don't come in a variety of colors.

Very cute, but a little too fall and orthopedic looking. They feel like a dream (so I'm keeping them) but they look ridiculous with any socks, so they are a hot shoe to wear on a summer's day. I was hoping to wear these on some upcoming travel, but I can't imagine wearing these to a nice restaurant.

These shoes are great for people without problematic arthritic toe (right big toe). My left foot felt so good while the right foot was a bit tight on the great toe. The shoes look great.
