I am a serious urban walker. But I had an injury and surgery in one foot, which thinned out the natural cushion in my foot, and a bunion developing in the other. Tried negative heel and when that caused other problems, a combination of inserts and other brands. I eventually resigned myself to a moderate amount of pain if I wanted to continue my ambles. Finally turned to Naot in the Kirei style, after reading the reviews here, and I just cannot get over it. Pain gone. Put the pair on out of the box and took a half hour walk in one direction, met a friend for coffee, and then another hour walk in the other direction. Pain gone. My feet feel completely supported and cushioned, and I think these shoes might also stop the bunion from developing further. And, as others have noted here, these are cute shoes. Several friends, who don't have foot problems and are very much into shoes, have complimented these. And yet, you can walk forever in them!

Shoes are very comfortable and supportive. They also accommodate orthotic supports for plantar fasciitis.

When I hit my third trimester, I went looking for a pair of supportive and cushioned shoes hoping that they would help me walk farther more comfortably and keep the bones in my feet from spreading any more than necessary during the pregnancy. I could not be happier with these shoes! I generally wear a half size and ordered the size up; they fit perfectly. I wear them every day, which is saying a lot for me (I tend to be a different-shoe-for-each-outfit kind of person). The foot bed (insole) is fantastic, the strap helps with the support, and the sole is cushioned and well textured but not too thick/athletic looking. The gray is a wonderful neutral color and they go well with many things. The best part of the shoe is that it was carefully designed so that the suede and leather sections are cut to give the illusion that the toe part is much more delicate it actually is. So you get the best of both worlds -- the shoes have all the support of a larger toe box with none of the clunkiness that I usually associate with comfort shoes. I have been looking everywhere for a pair of similar shoes in black, but I have not found an alternative. I see a black pair of Kireis in my future. Oh, and my mom and mother-in-law also bought these shoes (one in black the other in porcini brown) and both of them absolutely love the style. Highly recommended!

Most comfortable shoe I have ever owned, right out of the box! Finally after years of searching, many brands and money gone through, I have finally found the right shoe. I suffer with plantar fascitis, had bunion surgery and have a hammertoe. I am under 40 and find it hard to find cute shoes and comfort. I have tried Birkenstock, Merrell, Fitflops, MBT, Finn Comfort, Clarks and I will stop rattling off there! Finally this fits the bill, if you too have trouble with shoes look no more this is the one! I have even worn them running with my kids, no problem. One note about the color of the one I chose, the platinum leather, taupe patent leather, it is actually darker than the picture.

Bought this shoe because of the positive reviews. Wanted a comfortable, but somewhat stylish shoe for travelling and walking. It felt great the minute I put it on and worked great on my first trip...no foot pain at all! Bought a size 38 which is a half size larger than my normal size 7. The width was a bit wider but that's what made it feel so comfortable on my Hawaiian feet! Worth the price for wonderful feet comfort.

These are lovely shoes. Unfortunately they are too wide in the heel for me. I have three other Naots that work well for me. These shoes are stunning in the gray with metallic silver trim.

Ordered these in the grayish shade and they are gorgeous with silver trim. Love them,and sadly, have to return them because the heels are too loose on me and I need the width in the front of the foot. I have 3 other Naot styles that I love and which fit me fine.

I have TERRIBLE feet -- pronate like crazy, heel spurs, plantar fasciitics, and neuromas. That said, most of the time I have them down to a dull roar thanks to my Danskos. Birkenstocks, and orthotics in my athletic shoes. Last month it all blew up again thanks to a rather stupid move on my part, and the pain has been excrutiating. I could barely walk -- even in gym shoes with orthotocs -- until I tried a pair of these. The difference is unbelievable. Comfortable out of the box, and adorable to boot. They will even fir my orthotics if need be. I am ordering another pair immediately!

This is a very awesome shoe! Unfortunately my foot was too wide and they weren't a comfortable fit. The shoe is true to width for someone who has a more of a medium width. And as always Zappos has its exceptional customer service! Thanks Zappos

The only criticism i have is that the picture doesn't reflect the color combo accurately. There is not nearly as much contrast between the lightness of the strap and the color of the shoe. The strap is more bronze-y gold and blends very well into the dark taupe color of the shoe. Amazing arch support, also great for wide feet. I've had my pair two years and am only just now about to replace the insert. I wear them almost everyday on concrete floors at work. Make sure you spray/seal the cork insert if you plan on wearing these barefoot. Best cute work shoe I've ever had!

Beautiful, deep purple. I was sad I could only afford one color! Amazing arch support, also great for wide feet. I've had my pair two years and am only just now about to replace the insert. I wear them almost every day on concrete floors at work.

I ordered these shoes for a trip to Italy. I was very skeptical of the reviews that said these shoes were comfortable right out of the box so I bought them a month in advance to break them in. They did not need it! They are truly the most comfortable shoes I have owned - including my Merrells and Clarks. They fit true to size and are really cute with both skirts and pants. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I have sensitive feet that blister easily when shoes rub. These shoes are roomy in the toe area, fit nicely with the adjustable strap, and are comfortably cushioned in the footbed. They fit perfectly right from the box and are a little bit roomy, in case my feet swell a little. I have them in grey, blue, black, and the burnt copper color. I've had at least two pairs for several months now and they are not showing any wear and tear. They are a lifesaver for my feet! Buy your regular size and don't size up or down. I wear a size five and bought size 36. I also recommend the Rahina style, which is leather. I have the copper and black in that style as well.

Best shoes ever. Bought these for a romp around Europe. Was trying to find something I could wear casually that wouldn't look horrible with dresses for the evening. If my feet could talk, they would thank me profusely. These are, hands down, the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I will own up to a tiny bit of rubbing in the first week, where the front part of the shoe met my foot, but that was easily corrected within a couple of days. I don't think I took these off - except for mountain climbing - and I probably could have worn them for that, too. No, they are not the most stylish shoe, but to be honest, I would look at other women who were wearing high heels and just feel downright sorry for them.

Overall I like this shoe. The arch support is like a cushion, really supports but very comfortable. The strap (which is patent leather) is my least favorite part, feels a little cheesy. I don't usually like flats, but I'm trying to find a good walking shoe that has some style. I think this fits the bill.

I just found out that custom made inserts help relieve my back issues. This shoe fit me well and I want to thank Zappo with being so patient with me with all the returns. I will always shop here.

These are the world's most comfortable shoes. They look great and they last forever -- and they're so cushioned you can hike in them (I've walked an earlier pair of these all over Central America and Europe). Wonderful shoes!

I no longer have foot pain because of these shoes! So comfortable and they look good for work or play.

I have the feet from Hell! These shoes are incredibly comfortable, even for my problematic feet. I love them so much, that I bought three pairs. I have been trying for years to find shoes that do not cause me great pain blisters, and overall excruciating pain. These are the answer to a prayer. Do not hesitate to try these. You will not regret it. Trust me.

I love these shoes. They are cute, well made, comfortable, and accommodate orthotics, although the included removable footbed offers incredible support. They are cut a little lower on the foot than most of the other Naot Koru shoes, and works with capris and skirts as well as jeans or long pants. The patent dresses it up a bit, and the color, (I got it in platinum/mulberry/taupe), is pretty seasonless. My feet are so happy. What is not to love?

Great flat shoe, the 38 fits my size 7 feet perfectly with thin bobby socks, which is how I like to wear them. Looks good enough for my office.

Oh my gosh! You can't imagine how happy I am that I bought these shoes. I have extremely painful bunions as well as arthritic toes. I walk around the house barefooted because my feet are so painful. I desperately needed shoes for a trip. I saw these, thought I couldn't afford them, but I took the plunge anyway in desperation. They are HEAVENLY! I am so happy; I bought 2 more pairs. I don't even need my bunion guards with these beautiful shoes. They have wonderful arch support, which make my feet say, ah. Oh just buy them; you wont regret it. They're very cute to make it all even sweeter!

Beautiful and very comfortable shoes but I'm returning them for a bigger size. I read to order a size smaller than mine, but that wasn't the case in my case. Too small.

I really like these shoes - they fit very well and are very comfortable. I have two older pairs of Naots and just got two more - they wear very well and I'm so glad I found out about them. One of my feet is larger than the other and my feet fit into this brand of shoes very well.
