As many of the other reviews have stated, these were comfortable from the start. I have a lot of foot issues so was looking for something a bit more stylish than my sneakers for a trip to New York City. I did a lot of walking in New York City and these were comfortable through the whole trip.

On the recommendation of the manufacturer, I ordered a size down. They are too small. I have now ordered the correct size, and am sending the Kirei size 11 back. Thank goodness for overnight delivery, because I need the correct size for this Saturday. This was the manufacturer's mistake. As usual, Zappos is Fantastic! I order most of my shoes from you.

These seem like very nice shoes but the band or edge across the top of the opening where I insert my foot was just painfully tight and it would have rubbed whenever I walked (not the strap but the front of the shoe itself). I do have a wide foot but I can often wear a regular width because I also have a narrow heel. These are going back thanks to Zappos fast and generously free shipping.

I think these will be worth the price! Incredible fit. One concern I have is how wide the front of the feet look, and I think the styling overemphasizes that. I am exchanging for a non-patent version, since I am concerned that the patent strap may crack eventually.

I am one of those people who relies on reviews, but rarely takes the time to write one. I absolutely had to take a minute to write about this shoe. I have such a horrible time fitting my size 11M foot with a good shoe that has arch support (but doesn't look dorky). I can't say enough about this shoe! I did have to order a size 12 and it fit great. I was able to walk all over London and Paris last week and my feet never hurt, and my back didn't hurt either. I brought 4 pairs of shoes and never wore anything but these. From museums to dinner, these fit the bill. Don't know what I would have done without them. Don't hesitate in ordering these shoes!

I love Naot shoes, boots, and sandals. This pair is no exception. High quality, comfortable, cute - fits well, can wear all day comfortably, goes with jeans and pants.

This a very comfortable shoe, but my experience is to order the size you normally do. I ordered one size smaller and it was not quite comfortable. I am waiting for my usual size to be available.

The reviews of this shoe were so positive, I decided to give them a try, even though this is the most expensive shoe I've ever purchased! And do they live up to this reputation? I'd say, yes, probably. They are very comfortable right out of the box, and they sure are cute! I usually wear an 8-1/2 W, and the comments seemed to say it runs a little small, so I ordered the 9 W, and they fit perfectly! I have a weird issue that my right foot is longer but my left foot is wider, and the shoes are a little long on my left foot, but fit perfectly on my right foot. I said they "probably" live up to the positive reviews, because I expect a shoe this costly to last for several years, and obviously I can't tell that yet! But so far, so good!

Beautiful, quality shoe. Cut above your typical Mary Jane in both looks & comfort. The insoles are fabulous. I usually wear a 40, but needed a 41. Usually wear regular width, but needed a wide in these...given Naot run small & narrow. I also need extra room for bunion. I highly recommend these if you need a quality shoe with good support. Most of my Mary Janes are flat with thin soles without arch support. These are a definite upgrade...expensive but I think they're so worth it. The detailing and leather are simply lovely. Naot rocks!

Okay, Zappos and Naot... I cannot say enough good things about both of you. These shoes were ordered just after 5 PM yesterday and were delivered to my home in a Cincinnati suburb before 11 AM this morning. They are another perfect pair of Naots. I put them on, and they fit perfectly. My husband and I travel quite a bit and I swear by Naots. When I run into a fellow traveler who also is sporting a pair, there is an instant bond. I never worry about slipping with Naots on wet or rocky terrains. They are the best and worth every penny paid for them. I probably have 10 pair in my closet and will continue to buy them. I have tried other brands, but nothing (and I mean nothing) compares to my Naots.

The shoe was comfortable right out of the box. I wanted a casual shoe that looks good with jeans as well as slacks that was not a sneaker. Also, wanted something comfortable for a trip to Europe in the spring.

These are a nice shoe and I would have kept them. I didn't because the sole seemed thin, it did not afford the comfort I expected for the cost. I expected amazing comfort and these weren't. If they were half the price I would have and even that price would have been high.

A dream come true. These shoes are so comfortable. I didn't dare hope they would fit and feel the way they do. I have numerous foot challenges and these shoes take care of them all.

The most comfortable shoes I have ever had on my feet -- and I have tried a lot of shoes and brands! I felt guilty for spending this much on a pair of shoes, but I will do it again when I need another pair of shoes!

Am in love with this shoe. I went a bit out of my comfort zone in color, but I am so happy I did! The use of triple textures really sets this shoe apart from others I researched. I have a narrow foot, but the toe box was a bit snug. I removed the insole and now it fits like a glove.

I love these shoes. I disagree, though, with the other comments that suggest you order a size smaller. Mine felt great when I just wore them around the office for a few hours, but the next time I wore them, it was fore a full day of walking--and I definitely wish I'd ordered my usual size. I wasn't miserable, but I definitely wasn't as happy as I'd like to be with a purchase of this price. The shoes are great--I just ordered the wrong size and didn't realize it until they were worn, and no longer returnable.

These shoes are amazing! I've worn them several days a week for the last month and tonight I bought them in another color - despite the steep price tag! I have had multiple foot surgeries on one foot and have quite the bunion on the other. I have another Naot style but it's not nearly as comfortable as these. I stand all day long and my feet feel good at the end of the day in these shoes! If you are desperately seeking a stylish and comfortable pair of shoes, look no further!

I have 20 pair of Naots. I wanted a black flat and ordered and returned several that we're not quite right. I ordered the Kirei (also have in light beige, bronze) so why mess with perfection. this are comfortable right out of the box and provide all day comfort for my high arch small foot. Only Zappos has a great selection of size 35! Zappos and Naot, perfect together!

I agree, these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I wish I had been warned about the cork soles causing the odor - my shoes still have a lot of wear left in them, but I don't know whether to get new insoles and put the wool pads around them or not. Would they still smell so horrible? I can't even sleep with them in the room and I have tried all the tricks I could find to get rid of the odor. I absolutely love the comfort and support of these shoes.

It's a great walking shoe right out of the box. It would be nice if the shoe had a little more arch support, but it is far better than most brands. I wish they had more colors or similar styles, other than the Mary Jane models.

Love these shoes! They are comfortable in every way, and they don't look as bulky as Keenes. I have a high arch, and the leather part of the strap doesn't cover all of the velcro, so I'm happy that the velcro is black. Since my arch is high I never have enough arch support, but for someone with an average arch they will provide enough. They look good with socks, although in my opinion they look best without.

Unbelievable...I have never paid this much for a pair of shoes but these shoes were so worth it. I have 2 hammer toes, a bunion, and arthritis in my toes and these shoes are the only ones that I can wear very comfortably all day. Even take the dog for walks in them. I can no longer wear shoes with any sort of height and even though these are flat they look amazingly cute and give a little height because of the soles. They are so wonderful that I bought 2 other pairs in both the brown and the silver (which goes with everything). Jeans or dressy, these are the shoes for me. I wear a 9 1/2 or 10 depending on the shoe but I went for the 10 in these because of the toe box. And they do not look big on your feet. I can't say enough about how great these shoes are.

Yes, these shoes are great! I wear a full leg brace on my right leg. After taking out the insole my brace was able to slide into the shoe. They are very comfortable shoes.

As comfortable as any Naot I own, and I own half a dozen. I was sad though that the first day I wore them, a few raindrops appeared. The resulting little spots on the lovely suede are still there. Boo hoo.

I was reluctant to spend so much money, but these shoes have been great. Comfortable and stylish. Walked all day in them, no problems. I am very picky about shoes, they must be comfortable or I won't wear them. In considering a second pair in black.
