I had seen these online and wanted to see them in person before I made the leap. Enter Zappos! With their policies I knew I could try them out. While looking for these in stores I learned that Tsubo was known for their athletic shoes and then used that technology for comfortable high heels. I wanted these because there was not heel! I loved them from the moment I got them. They are the most comfortable boots ever. They are stylish too! Great quality and great everything. Highly, highly recommended!

Love these boots! They are very well made and provide great cushion for arch/sole area even though the style of this boot makes it look very flat. They are so comfortable that I can walk all day in them.

True love. I'd been thinking about buying these for weeks. I'm a boot lover, but they always feel too big around the calf. After reading the reviews for these, I ordered the black kihos to wear on a trip with my husband. Upon arrival, they exceeded my expectations. Very clean lines, modern classic. Buttery soft leather made to fit my foot, ankle and calf like a glove on top of a mostly hidden tennis shoe feel sole. Walking through two airports...no problem. I wore them with a medium weight sock, black leggings and a tunic. So comfortable...and my husband loved the look too. I usually wear a 6.5 or 7 in flats and the 7 fit perfect.

Super-comfortable shoe! I have somewhat large calves, and the boot is a snug fit. I usually wear 8/8.5 shoes, and the 8 was a good fit.

I was recently in Park City, Utah, and these boots turned a lot of heads. They were super comfortable and kept my feet very dry, even when I sloshed through ankle deep slush at street corners (I did give it a waterproof spray before wearing). Everyone commented on how clean they looked, too. I didn’t do anything to keep them clean, but somehow, they hide dirt pretty well. I recommend these highly!

I LOVE these boots! I bought these boots because I am moving from Florida to Chicago. I live almost 24/7 in flip-flops so I know I needed boots with no heel. They might not be the sexiest boots, but they feel amazing! The leather is gorgeous. These boots feel like you are wearing sneakers. I typically wear a 6 1/2, but after trying on both a 6 1/2 and a 7, I went with the 7. The length ran just little short. These boots are well worth the money.

Absolutely love these boots for casual wear. I never wear flats due my my height; however, needed some comfortable boots to wear with my skinny jeans. Really nice soft leather and the insole can be removed. Worth the money!

I had been looking for the perfect black boots for about 1 1/2 years. These are perfect. I can wear them with dresses, leggings and over my skinny jeans. They are so comfortable. I usually wear a 6 1/2, but found that the size 7 fit me better.

I work at a retail store which requires at least 5-7 hours of standing and walking around. These are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. These boots become even softer on the leather as I wear it more. I get many compliments, too! Must buy if you are looking for the perfect walking boots.

These boots were purchased as a gift. My wife had already tried on and purchased the same boot, but in black. It was a no brainer to get her the same boot in white, because she was raving about the comfort of the first boots. Zappos was cheaper than the retail store, even when factoring for duty, shipping, and taxes. When phoning the customer service line (twice), the service agents were helpful and knowledgeable even when my question was stupid. I miss interpreted something obvious.

Seriously, these boots are amazing. Amazing. 1.) No back pain. I have had back problems for 10 years, and am always searching for shoes that won't make me miserable. These boots are cute and fashionable even without a heel and don't hurt my back at all. I walk several miles every day in them with no problems. 2.) Warm and comfortable. Wearing these boots, my usually frostbitten toes are nice and toasty. My only recommendation is that you don't wear them with super-thin socks, as the one time I did the back heel panel rubbed a bit and started to hurt. Otherwise, these are lovely on my feet. 3.) Hardy and snow-tested. I wore them out multiple times during DC's record-breaking Snowpocalypse yesterday, and nary a drop of water touched my feet, even in the 16-inch snow drifts. I did waterproof them just after buying, so that probably helped, but still, I was very concerned that I would ruin my pricey boots by dragging them through the snow. Shouldn't have been concerned; the boots stood up to the test and then some. Bottom line: these boots are worth every penny. I am getting more skirts so I can wear them to work more often. As a side note, had to order these from the Tsubo website because Zappos didn't have my size/color combo.

Great flat boot. I had been looking for a brown flat boot for a while, but something that did not look like a cowboy boot when I finally settled on these. Glad I found them; they are cute and comfortable! Also, I have pretty skinny calves for my height and shoe size; I am 5'8" with a 9 1/2 foot so I struggle to find boots that aren't too big in the calves, these are great and I wear them with skirts and over jeans; however, not too cute under jeans. Would recommend!

I love these boots! I\'m on my feet all day at work, and these boots keep my feet happy. The leather is super soft, and they fit around my calves (which doesn\'t always happen). I get compliments on these boots every time I wear them. The style is so simple and classic, they look great casual or dressed up. Worth every penny.

These boots are the bomb! They are comfy and beautiful. One thing that doesn\'t show in the photos is the tangerine lining shows at the top of the boot as a thin line defining the edge. I think it\'s an attractive grace note, but it might not harmonize with your wardrobe. They are breaking in wonderfully. I love them so much I\'m considering getting them in black, too.\r\n

I just got these boots for winter and I love them. I've been hunting for a knee high flat boot for weeks. The Merrell, Born and Clarks I tried were all too narrow. These Tsubos are just right. They fit my foot. They fit my calf. They are incredibly comfortable and have decent arch support. I walked several miles in them the first day. The only thing is that they are not as well insulated as the other boots I tried, so I'll need thicker socks in the winter. Otherwise, perfect!

These boots are fabulous! I have a narrow foot and they are soft and comfortable and hold my foot very well. I have been walking through puddles, wet grass & blowing rain; my feet stay dry & warm. I'm between an 8 and 8 1/2 and the 8 fits perfectly. People in this area love the look of these boots, lots of compliments! I have referred them to Zappos.

Really comfortable out of the box! Looks great either with slim pants or a skirt. A great solution for gals who can't wear heels. I wish the brown would be of a darker shade, though, the black ran out of stock, so I had to order it from another place.

I am 5' 4" and always searching for a style that I can pull off. Too many buckles and ties tend to overpower my look. I also live in the city and walk everywhere so I avoid teetering on heels whenever possible. These are comfortable boots that blend in with many different looks. They are great for city walking. The rubber soles are quiet, they don't clack down the street. They have hidden elastic tapers at the top so you can tuck jeans in and wear all day without feeling too tight around the calves. And they have a simple clean versatile style that works for any occasion.
