Best boots ever! These are truly great, super warm and stylish. I get compliments on them almost every time I wear them (bought the brown Laredo color). Great replacement for my Uggs since they are way more weather resistant and look a lot better - still casual but not "bummy". I wear them rain, sleet or shine and they keep my feet dry and comfortable even when its well below freezing. I would absolutely recommend these boots to anyone looking for a well made casual boot (and Docs are uber cool). I have fairly wide feet and am a true size 8.5, I bought the size 8 and they fit perfectly.

Ooh! I love this boot! It's just what I was looking for - flat, weather-resistant, casual, warm, and suede. The soft fluffy lining is a plus in Seattle. Cute with tights and a skirt, leggings or jeans tucked in. Maybe too bulky for under jeans. I have pretty big calves - 15.75 inches! (Did I just admit that in public? I swear they don't look that big...) These fit GREAT. For super thin legs, there would be a lot of space at the top. Classic Doc soles, not much internal support. I get compliments on the gray, but kinda wish I'd gotten black. Maybe I will! UK 6 fit my USA 8 perfectly. Shaft width gives them a bit of a fireman's boot look, but it's not that bad. Get some!

I typically take a size 6 1/2 or 7 shoe so at first, purchased the UK size 5 but they were a full size too big. So I returned the first pair and purchased UK size 4 and they fit great. They are exceptionally comfortable and look great!

Love this shoe! But it runs huge, so buy a full size smaller. I bought 1/2 size smaller than usual and still had room to put in a 1/4-inch tall heel insert, a full length foam insert, and replaced the sheepskin insole it came with...and still had room to wear thick socks. The look is great. The yellow soles don't slip on ice. Lots of room in the calf to tuck in pants (and carry tissue packs & lipbalm & a small flashlight). No arch or ankle support.

I love this boot! I have wider calves than average (16.5-17) and I still have plenty of room in these boots. I mostly wear them with tights and dresses/skirts because they are bulky looking under fitted jeans. They'd be fine under boot cut I suppose. If I do wear them with jeans I tuck them in or roll them up. Great fit (room for warm socks) and people always ask me, "Are those Doc Martens?" I've never owned such a high quality boot! They're functional and fashionable.

These boots are great for winter! They are comfortable, warm and have lots of traction. I wear them over skinny jeans and under wider leg jeans. They look great either way. I should have got them in other colors!

Love them; easy to quickly put on and take off. Perfect for those quick trips outside with the dog. I like how I feel like a tough chick wearing Docs. I pity the peeps in Uggs. They do run a little big.

These are a great alternative to Uggs or other winter boots. They're fashionable but functional at the same time, and they feel great to walk in. They're also incredibly warm, which I wasn't expecting. I'm also a 6.5US and bought the 6US. They fit great and have already stretched out a bit to fit my foot.

Love these boots! Warm and comfortable. Enough room in the calf to tuck in jeans, etc., cute with skirts too! Excellent winter boot. I have trouble finding boots that fit well around my calves (16" diameter) and these have plenty of room. Yay!

Love these boots! Super comfy and warm. I have larger calves, and they left plenty of room for me to tuck my pants in. I received tons of compliments the first day I wore them!

I love this boot it is great now that Canadian winter has set in, super comfy and warm, soft fleece lining. Excellent!

Very happy with this purchase. I hadn't worn a pair of Docs since the 90's and wasn't sure about the fit but it's great. I can see I'll get a lot of use from these boots.

AMAZING! these are the best boots ever! I was having trouble finding a stylish winter boot to look good both in the office and for when I really just needed to keep my feet dry and warm - these fit the bill! I am 5'4" and they hit right in the middle of my shin (so many were hitting way too high). They look great with skinny jeans tucked in or leggings and a cute dress... but slightly bulky under jeans. They are not too heavy and I can wear them all day and never want to take them off. The brown is also a beautiful shade!

I love this boot! It\'s comfortable and suitable for everything from kicking around to business casual. It looks ridiculously cute with leggings, jeggings, tights or bare legs. I recommend wearing a sock that comes up over your ankle, as anklets tend to get eaten if you do a lot of walking. But this boot is completely comfortable and wearable right out of the box.

I have been wearing Ugg's for many years. Last year I could not afford to get them so I got a substitute. It had one of those flimsy soles that began to fall apart in no time. So, this year I decided to get something that was a bit more stylish and substantial and yet still had the same vibe. I chose these because they had a warm lining, were a suede pull on seemed to be a boot that would be comfortable and check out that sole! That is a seriously, long lasting piece of work. I have worn them twice and I love them. They are warm, comfortable, easy to pull on and fit great. I wear a 6 and they are perfect. If you're looking for an Uggs change try these!

This boot is awesome. They look good and they feel great! I love them because they give me a stylish look instead of the not so adult look I am trying to branch away from without being too fancy. I ordered an 8 and they feel like an 8. I love them. I am planning on wearing them in the winter months to come. The calf is to die for! I have big calves for most boots of this nature and they fit perfectly - lots of room. Just pull up and go! I thought I wasn't going to like the black as much due to the picture online but they are a very good looking in person. I think I would order another pair...want to try the brown style!

These boots are the most awesome boots I have ever owned. Zappos has amazingly fast shipping, so I didn't have to wait long to receive them. The boots are true to size and very comfortable. They are completely lined, so they are very warm. They are super cute with skinny jeans, and big enough to fit straight leg jeans inside. They do look bulky under other jeans, though, so I have only worn them with jeans inside the boot. I think I have a large calf, but these boots have so much room they make them look small. We had snow when I got them, so I waterproofed them and wore them right away. The tread is great for ice and snow. I have gotten many compliments on these boots.

Awesome boots! Very warm and comfortable for wearing all day especially on cold days. Normally wear a 7 1/2 and ordered 8 and they fit great. Very easy to pull on. Would love to have in neutral color.

I have been wearing the Dr. Martens Jenny boot over the last couple of months and I like the boot. It is comfy, it is warm and dry, and makes the feet feel well protected even when digging out of a 21" blizzard(!), which was our first snow of the winter and my first venture out with the boots! They hold up their good looks and have great traction in the heavy snow. Well worth the money. I have been looking for a boot like this for a while.

I wanted a pair of sturdy, warm, and non-Ugg boots. Doc Martens have never disappointed in the "sturdy" department and I'm glad that they've made a pair of cute, feminine, warm, and comfortable winter boots. I wear a size 5: these fit very snugly as they are lined with fleece so they might be tight on some people. The advantage is that you don't have to wear thick socks with these boots. I've worn these under jeans, with skinny jeans tucked in, and with tights and a skirt - they don't look bulky at all, very flattering in fact. The boots are really warm and I didn't need any break-in time. The only drawback is that they are made out of suede and so a day in a foot of snow is probably not a good idea. I did spray them with a protective layer and they have stood up to slush and rain. Love these boots!

Very warm boot. Too warm for socks and a little big without socks! Great for shoveling snow. I wore them on a shopping trip and my feet really hurt. I don\'t know if that was because they were a little too big or lack of arch support.

Yippee! Thank you Dr. Martens for finally making a boot wide enough for my calf! I have a 16" calf and it's hard for me to find boots that I really like and that actually fit. These are great! They are super cool looking and feel great, too. Sort of remind me of hardcore Uggs, but way more awesome. The faux fleece inside makes them cozy and it doesn't take up too much room on the inside to fit my calf and my jeans tucked in. They are easy to pull on with the tabs at the top and they actually have Doc's signature yellow stitching! For some reason, they seem to make a lot of their black boots with black sole stitching. Maybe to make them dressier, but I want that signature look. That's why I buy Doc Martens! I wish they'd make tall boots in smooth leather that are the same calf circumference as these. These do feel slightly baggy around the ankle and my heel slips slightly without socks on. But I don't care, I am enamored! And thanks Zappos for the extraordinary service, it's why I keep coming back!

Another pair of Docs I like! I tried both Bitter Chocolate and Black colors, but preferred the Black ones better. The UK7 size still gave me wiggle room for my toes (I normally wear US 8.5/9). What I also like about these boots is the "water-resistant suede uppers" feature (which hopefully holds true). I have had an awesome experience with Zappos and their customer service, that I will definitely continue to purchase from them. Thanks Zappos!
