The Fifth Avenue is always in style. The form, fit and finish are all top notch, as is the quality and workmanship. Everything you would expect from Allen Edmonds...consistently GREAT mens dress shoes!

Really comfortable, excellent investment and value for money

These are my first pair of AE shoes after years of buying cheaper (in terms of both price and build quality) shoes; what a difference. I would have been happy with the quality, fit, and finish if I had paid full price (I bought these during the end of April sale). The shoes feel solid and the soles are thick, but the leather is supple enough (and the fit perfect) not to require much break in. I have never been so satisfied with a shoe purchase.

Great shoes and products. Great fit and design. My only issue is the limited number of shoes available in size 16. I know Its not a common size but you have a customer for life in me as long as you have them available.

The Fifth Avenue Cap toe oxfords are a perfect example of American craftsmanship. This shoe has the versatility to be worn dressed up or business casual. Great looking cap toe!

I have an older pair in black that have held up very nicely over several years. It is now time to send them in for recrafting. I especially like that they have larger sizes since I wear a 14eee. I liked them so much that I just ordered a pair in the chili color. My original pair broke in quickly and is by far the most comfortable dress shoe I've ever worn.

Purchased the AE Fifth Ave as my first pair of quality dress shoes and I could not be more pleased. The brogue on the cap-toe adds just the right amount of style to keep the shoe understated for work purposes, yet stylish for more casual settings. The Dark Chili Burnished color is fantastic and compliments most color palettes in my wardrobe repertoire.

Great shoes. I have four pairs and wear them constantly. I would rate them right alongside Brooks Brothers Peal & Co. and Alden. I have multiple pairs of each. The fact AE is made in USA is even better. Don't change a thing. Regards, Dr Sal

I purchased the walnut version of this shoe and it is absolutely gorgeous. The fit and comfort level of this shoe is what you'd expect from AE, terrific. Highly recommend this shoe.

The shoes are outstanding. Ordered in the English Calf. The finish is so beautiful with variations in color and very rich appearance. I have been wearing Allen Edmonds shoes for over 40 years. These shoes are beautifully designed with just enough trim. Very simple and very classy. In this case, less is definitely more. Wear with jeans or suit. Also want to compliment the Customer Service Area for outstanding service in helping with me with my selection of last and color. Highest marks for Holly!

Grew up hearing about the importance of quality footwear and proper sizing from my grandfather. Couldn't afford it on my own for years. Finally decided to replace the cheapos. I started with a pair of these Fifth Ave in black 10EEE. A little snug but softening nicely. Love the elegant style with just a touch of broguing to break it up. Branching out to several other models and colors. What a great company. I feel more confident as I walk in these.

After replacing many average department store shoes after just 6 months - 1 year of wear I had enough. Internet research and the good folks on reddit (check out AE CEO AMA for a good read) lead me to a company I had not heard of before but seemed to garner unanimous praise- enter Allen Edmonds. After some research I purchased these Fifth Avenues at their retail outlet (second quality, but I can't even tell) and two pairs of Sanfords (walnut and black) at their regular retail store on clearance. Wearing these is a true joy- they ooze quality, classic style, and confidence. I get compliments on them all the time! The only bad thing about them is that after wearing these all my other shoes feel like garbage- and the initial upfront cost! Buy a pair, invest in your style, posture, and self-regard. You won't look back!

Superior quality, very comfortable, and great looking shoes. The Merlot is amazing with navy blue suit! Highly recommend it.
