I am a big Stuart Weitzman fan and find he really makes shoes that are both stylish and durable. These boots are no exception. As such they are expensive but you get what you pay for and as you would expect the suede and craftsmanship are first rate. What I like about these boots in particular is that they have the right size heel for me at 2 1/2" (I'm 5'9"), they fit a narrow leg (13 1/2" calf) with no gapping unlike others (they are pull on, so likely to work best for those with smaller builds). As for size, I am a 10 m and these are true to size, but a tad snug, which will likely be easy to break in given they're suede. If you are thinking about purchasing both colors, my experience was that the heels on these boots differ. The black heels are narrower and are from last year's design (Chickboot) while the brown are closer to this year's model (Chickster). Since I prefer the larger heel I elected to keep the brown, and return the black for a pair purchased at the Stuart Weitzman boutique. Finally, one other thing I think will be helpful to those considering this boot is how they work with your wardrobe. Originally I wanted to find footwear for my pencil skirt but found the proportion is off. The boot knee-length height requires a much shorter skirt or a shorter dress (for sexy indeed). That said, I am electing to go with short ankle boots and pumps for the pencil skirt. Also, I would be unlikely to tuck pants/leggings into these boots (snug as they are), and would prefer to wear my Cole Haan riding-like boots for this purpose.

I didn't want to absolutely love these boots when they arrived as they were priced much higher than I have ever paid and had buyers remorse from the time I ordered them, but once they were on I was so excited and knew I could never send them back. I have skinny calves, am 6' tall, and have the hardest time finding boots that fit my legs and look great with dresses and skirts. Basically I've been wearing boot-shoes with sweater tights since all the other tall boots were way too loose around my calves and looked ridiculous. These boots are perfect, if they ever go on sale I may order in brown as I don't think I will ever find this perfect boot again. Not too high and not too low where they wouldn't look dressy enough for work. Very elegantly designed and are my best winter accessory. I keep them stored in the original box as I plan on wearing them for years to come, they are classic.

I absolutely love this boot! Being a runner, I actually have very large calves so thought that these would probably not work since I had read reviews from others with very small calves and how great they work for them. My calves as so large that I have to get boots that stretch because zip up will not go up. Well, to my surprise, these fit wonderfully on me and are so comfortable. Yes, they are pricey but it is so worth it because they will last such a long time and are so well made and comfortable. I am about to buy them in brown now too!

Love these boots! These boots are gorgeous! They fit perfectly. However, in my opinion, they are not true to size. My boots are a 1/2 size smaller than I wear in other Weitzman boots. Also, my feet are narrow, so the perfect fit suggests a narrow width.

These boots are amazing, Very comfy and super stylish at the same time. They do run half size larger. I bought them in a size 7, I would normally wear a 7.5m. I also have narrow calfs (12.5 inches)and these fit great!

I really like these boots! They fit well and look smart. I may keep them anyway, for traveling to cold, snowy, wet places like New York, London, Paris in winter. Or when it rains in San Francisco. But I am headed for a month in the freezing Baltic, traveling light, and I need a boot with a slightly lower and more sturdy heel for all occasions. Maybe a wedge. I am still looking.

Classic, great boot. Very comfortable. Looks great with a dress/skirt, or a jean/legging. Wore all day, heal height isn't too high. Runs true to size. Worth the price, will wear for years.

Beautiful suede, sleek fit, great moderate height heel. They were way too big. I may order half a size smaller although I am afraid that it will be too tight on my problem feet. I usually wear a 6½ in Stuart Weitzman. My calfs measure 13½".

These are timeless! Just the boot with a fabulous LBD or dressed down. So comfortable and beautifully made! I have many pairs of SW and they never disappoint! Treat yourself! I bought them for myself and my daughter - We both fit in one half size smaller than usual.

This boot is beautiful! Worth every penny. The suede leather is high quality, soft and stretches, making them easy to pull up. I have large calves and usually have difficulty with tall boots but not with these. I had no issue pulling them up. The shoe portion fit to size - I ordered a 6.5. I ordered this boot at the same time I ordered a St. John knit dress, which showed the model wearing similar boots. Unfortunately neither the dress nor the boots looked good together on me. I had no other reason to wear these if not with the dress. Sadly I have to return them. I know I won't wear them and they are too expensive to gather dust in the closet.

Love these boots! I'm 5'8" and as size 10.5-11 shoe. I took a chance on these beautiful boots because I was concerned the shaft would be too narrow and they'd be difficult to get on and off without a zipper. In fact, they are so soft, they slip on easily, and hug your calf without being too tight. Incredibly comfortable to wear AND walk in. I have worn them all day at the office and didn't want to take them off when I got home from work! Only small concern is I would've preferred a stacked heal which would wear better in the long run, but otherwise these were worth every penny.

The best boot. My second pair. Last year wore so much. Perfect heel...not too high or low. Comfy...can wear all day. Lightweight, not clunky. Wear with jeans leggings, skirt, anything. Great slimming. I am 5' 4 1/2. Size 7.5. Love this boot!

The most gorgeous, most perfect boot. It works with everything most important the absolutely most perfect boot for the office. I walk for miles in this boot and it's so comfortable.

Great classic boot, comfortable heel height, keeps my feet warm, and fits snuggly because of the stretch suede to my calves. Someone with large calves might be uncomfortable, not sure how much they stretch.

I really didn't want to like this boot because I have never paid this much for any type of apparel in my life. But with my old dress boots literally falling apart at the seems, I was desperate. These boots are gorgeous. I have skinny calves and struggle to find boots that don't gap, but these are perfect. The suede is so soft and supple. And they were incredibly comfortable right out of the box. Unfortunately, I love them!

Didn't want to love these...due to price. Not the case! they are amazing...a classic! Best fitting boot ever...and comfy. Considering a second pair!

Impossible to find narrow calf boots as these; beautiful! Wish they came in leather in similar color as well as even black. I haven't worn them out yet but feel very comfortable so far.

This is a beautiful boot, that is both comfortable and stylish. I had read several reviews that indicated that the shaft would be quite tight. However, I did not find that to be the case. it is well fitting. I highly recommend this boot to someone who wants to have a dressy boot that needs to wear them all day.

These are the most comfortable, best fitting, and beautiful boots I have ever owned. I have slim calves, and have never found any boots to fit well. Love them.
