I love these clean lined boots and appreciate the that they don't have added buckles or embellishments, just a clean stylish line. I've worn them almost every day this winter, they are extremely comfortable and you can walk a long ways. The suede has held up beautifully, they still look new. I've been careful about water, no walking through deep puddles or snow drifts but weather happens and they have handled it. (Good quality suede holds up well, poor quality does not.) My calves are medium but I think the stretch fabric would accommodate thin to wide. These are tall boots which I like. I'm only 5'4" but can wear a fairly tall boot which I love, but I'd suggest checking the measurement - thanks Zappos for always including this. There is one negative to this boot for me. When they were new, they were tight enough that they didn't slip down at all. I like them very smooth and neat and up to my knees for no gap. The fabric has loosened slightly so that they slip down a bit. They still look neat, they definitely aren't a slouch boot but I preferred them before they loosened up and I'm quiet sad this. That said, I'm still wearing them almost every day.

This boot runs big and is a much different color than shown--more of a mushroom color. However it is very comfortable and very stylish without being too high. I put pads in and I love it.

Like the previous reviewer, I found the 2 colors to be different styles - the black heel is thinner and the boot overall is sized smaller in the black. I found the brown boot to be much too big (possibly 2 half sizes bigger) and when you compared the black and brown together, the brown boot was definitely at least an inch longer. So unless you are planning on wearing thick socks, I would size down for these boots. They are very attractive for people with thin calves but better suited for taller people. I am only 5'2" and the shaft came to the middle of my knee (even though it slouched around my ankles), which is higher than I want. I would agree with previous reviewers that there is no padding or support, so they may not be too comfortable to walk in all day. Also, since the black boots are last years model, they were not as nicely packaged as the brown pair. The result was that the black suede was creased and flattened in spots and I was unable to brush it out to where it looked like new. Even deeply discounted, the boots are still too expensive not to be perfect. I am also concerned about how they will hold up over time (because they certainly do not look good after being folded in a box). Unfortunately I will have to return them and continue my search for the perfect pair of boots.

I usually purchase a 6.5 with Stuart Weitzman and depending on the last for that style of boot can go with a narrow or medium width. I am a solid 6.5, but with a more narrow toe, will go .5 size larger. I got the Chicboot in a 7M and they were way too wide - even with socks, not a comfortably snug fit in the footbed, so I exchanged for a 7N which fit perfectly in the footbed and with the .5 size up in length, don't fit too snug around my toes, however, I received a pair that show wear around the inside curve of the right heel, as though someone rested their boot on barstool rail. It's not heavily worn and was undetectable enough to be sold again as new, but I'm somewhat disappointed, as they are now out of anymore 7N's, so I must keep these or lose out altogether. This was my only reason for marking down a stay on the overall rating, although this is clearly a return issue - not a manufacturer issue. As far as the quality of the boot, they are a supple, luxurious suede that stretches enough to pullover my athletic calves (14.25 circumference beautifully) and not fit too baggy in the ankle area - they look terrific on and if I decide to keep them, I am sure they'll be a sassy addition to my wardrobe.

Beautiful boot. Fit was perfect but the heel height was too low for what I was looking for. I have slim calfs so I love the pull on style.

Beautiful and comfortable boots, but going back because the shaft is about 1" too high (cuts into my knee caps, and I'm 5'6").

I really wanted to love these boots...perfect height, perfect heel and toe. However, it was clear once I put them on that the boots disappointed. They didn't stay up very well, instead slipping and wrinkled at various points on my leg. I normally do not have problems with boot fits. In fact, these Weitzman boots were to replace other Weitzman's that I have had for over 5 years! Sadly, I am sending them back.

First, about Zappos. I ordered these boots and was shocked when I received my parcel, UPS box was opened. For the boots, they were definitely worn before, they had marks all over the inner and outer sides of the 2 feet also from the back and front. For this price tag, I'm completely disappointed, I expected the boots to be flawless. Second, about the boots, didn't like them much; they seemed very comfy but for the style something seemed wrong, maybe the heels weren't too flattering. Not worth the price.

Terrible arch support hard wood feeling inside boot. I have very narrow calves and have been searching forever and have bought and returned dozens of pairs of boots, not to mention those i have tried on in stores. Was excited that these fit my calves, but they wrinkled in the ankles. For this price, they need to look and feel great. Far from it.

I really really wanted these boots. But I could not get them over my calves. My calves are not that muscular and I think most women in America have calves bigger than the shoe models in the video. I wear a size 12 medium, there was only one left which looked like it had been worn. I can understand why it looks that way since they are very hard to get off and on. I need a knee high boot that is sexy and not too high. I wish Stuart W would make more boots like the 50/50. I have one in black and in brown and they are very comfortable and easy to get on. I do not see any size 12M on Zappos site or Nordstroms for that matter. I hope more options will come in soon. If you have muscular calves and over a size 10 foot, I would not recommend these. Stuart Weitzman, please make more of boots in this color. It's a great color and hard to find.

These boots are gorgeous. They look like they would be as comfortable to wear as they are wonderful to look at, but unfortunately I will never know. They are literally impossible to put on. I tried each one for a full 5 minutes and was unable to get my foot into either one. They don't appear to be too small, but they are so narrow and they are lined with a rubberized material and it just doesn't work. Too bad, they are spectacular looking.
