Wear these several times a week to work. At first they were stiff but after breaking them in they feel great. The size runs big, get a half size smaller than you normally wear.

Please don't stop making this shoe. The wearer loves it. It's a shame it splits across the sole before the rest of the shoe wears out. Otherwise it is a great shoe and would be 5 stars. Work on durability.

I bought two pairs for my son and his brother as they both needed shoes for the older son's wedding. I bought two sizes - ended up sending the larger one back and using the smaller pair for the brother with the larger feet. Good looking but about a size too large.

I normally wear a size 9 D (normal) but with this one I got a size 8 3E (wide). The shoe fits perfectly without having to break it in. If your getting the cortland and you have a normal width foot, I suggest you get a full size smaller which is wide. If you're getting your true size you'll end up with a relatively very big shoe.

I purchased the Cortland and had to ship it back because one of the shoe was darker than the other. The brown die on this shoe isn't the same look online and the brown is darker in some areas of the shoe and not in others; I asked customer service to ship me the lightest shade of brown in this shoe or I run the chance of having a very, very dark brown shoe when it needs shining at the shoe shop. If it ships with an even coated brown, not too dark brown, it will be a perfect shoe.

The shoes look amazing. The look and lasting quality of my last pair of Florsheims was great and I expect the same from these as well. My only complaint is that they're a little long which makes their initial comfort slightly lacking. They'll break in within the month though. I bought a pair of Ecco shoes as well for money. These Florsheims were on sale for $80 and the quality and look blew the Eccos out of the water. I returned the Eccos.

First of all, great looking shoe, dressed up or down. Good shine and shape. However, the stitching in the heal goes from outside the show up and inside the shoe. This makes two zipper like lines that constantly rub the sides of the achielles tendon raw. I tried thicker socks, didn't help. I had to glue felt in the back to cover the threads and that does help. I bought 3 pairs of Florsheims and didn't have this problem with the other 2, but this pair have a design flaw. Unfortunate in such a great looking pair of shoes.
