I am a believer in earth shoes and have 3 pair now. I have to stop myself from ordering more and more! I had a bad right knee but if I only wear my earth shoes it does not hurt! I particularly love these boots but they are slippery in the snow so be careful. It was nothing to send them back for. They are very well made and very comfortable. They do tend to run slightly large and they make my feet look a little bigger.

Comfortable, warm, but kind of ugly - This is my first pair of Earth shoes, and I will give them credit for being very comfortable. The footbed was very supportive, and combined with the thinsulate lining and the fur trim, I think these boots would be very cozy. I was concerned with the laces, but I found the lace and the loops to be pretty robust. I ordered the peanut leather color and found the leather to be a bit stiff at the top, but I think over time it would become more supple and you would be able to to tighten the laces tighter. I agree with the other reviewers that this shoe runs large. I am normally an 8, but ordered the 7.5 and it fit perfectly. I am returning these boots because, even though they are warm and comfortable, they are not very cute. My size 7.5s looked like size 10s. The specially-shaped Earth sole is much more apparent in person than in the photographs. As I am looking for boots for streetwear in an urban environment rather than utilitarian winter snow boots, these just don't work for me.

Loved the look of these, but when I got them on, they were clunky and made my feet look huge. Size 8 was too big and size 7.5 was better but it didn’t help the clunkiness factor. You can’t walk around in these and feel graceful or feminine. I got the Sorel Maribels instead.

I have a wide foot and it was very comfortable for me. I’m used to using orthotics, but the insole was so well done I didn’t need them. I shoveled snow for 2 1/2 hours wearing these with a pair of Smartwool socks and my feet never got the slightest bit cold. If the snow is deep you do need to have the boot inside your pant leg or else snow will definitely get in around your ankle. The smooth leather version has a finish as if a bunch of mink oil was worked into it, which, I think, is why they stayed dry in the snow.

I just wore the boots for the first time when it snowed and I was very disappointed. I fell and slipped five times I was not very happy and will not wear again in the snow at all!

These are comfortable and warm. They took me comfortably around Yosemite Valley for three days of photographing the iconic views of the valley in February. I safely walked through snow and ice. I even took a photo of my toasty warmly clad feet in the snow!

After reading hours of reviews on many boot styles, I settled on 4 pairs, and sent the other 3 back. I really like these! Shipping was super fast and I would definitely recommend these boots.

I love these boots! I have pain with every step: old great toe breaks, resultant osteoarthritis, bunions and wear Earth Shoes exclusively, as I get the most comfort with them by far. I live in a warm climate so only have variations on sandals. Recently I had to go to Boulder and was so uncertain about buying and taking these boots: worried about hobbling around and would my feet freeze (my circulation isn't the best). Well! My feet were the most comfortable they have been all year. I wore my regular size 9, with warm medium wool socks. I have narrow feet but long toes, so need plenty of rounded room in the toe area. The support is terrific, the comfort level wonderful, plus my feet stayed warm in the sub-zero weather and snow. The snow level was not very deep and I did not waterproof the boots, which I imagine they'd need if worn in slushy weather. The only nuisance was getting them on and off during security at the airports...and I had to wear them, as sandals would not do!

Loved this boot. It is comfortable and good looking. During this cold, snowy winter it has kept my feet warm and dry.

These boots are incredibly comfy! I wear a 6.5, but ordered a 6, and they are plenty roomy for a nice warm sock. They are warm and very stabile in slop and snow. Easy on and off.

Divinely comfortable for my low-volume long-toed feet, even in light socks. Good support, just the right amount of flexibility in the sole (I have Hallux limitus & a tendency to plantar fasciitis, so shoes are very tricky for me). I needed a 10, when in most shoes I wear an 11, but in Earth shoes that seems to be mainly a function of how the toe box is constructed - this one is wide enough (without being boxy) for me to to fit the 10. One thing I've discovered about these boots (which get lots of compliments - one friend said I looked like I stepped out of a Jan Brett picture book!) is that I can wrap the laces another half-turn around to the back and tie them there, which gives me better fit (and a more streamlined look) around the ankle. Now I just need a little more cold weather so I can wear these wonderful boots some more!

Still a little unsure of this boot. Fits good, a little loose around the top where the tie goes around your calf -- wondering if that will loosen while you walk. I have been wearing them inside my house, but kind of hard to determine. I'm thinking that may not be an issue since the rest of the boot feels really good on the rest of the foot, and this is my 6th pair of trying to find a good fit. Did not feel this ran small since it fits good and my foot is a smidgen over a 10 (not quite a 10 1/2).

I love this boot! I have some hard-core Sorel boots that I wear for heavy snow, but I wanted a lower-profile boot to wear every day in the winter. These are perfect for that! They are super comfy and make my feet feel awesome! I don't want to take them off when I get home! I will not be using them for heavy snow, but these are great for most winter days. And they are very cute, too! I had to order a half size smaller than what I usually wear, and they fit perfectly! I still have enough room for some thick socks. Great boots!

I purchased this boot to replace the Uggs that I had worn for the past 2 winters and that have caused my feet tons of pain. I can't say enough about the Earth shoe brand. I have owned several pairs in several styles and have been very pleased. The comfort is great! I ordered these in my usual size and they fit perfectly! A side note...I ordered these boots early last evening and they were at my door by noon today! I love Zappos!

I ordered these boots 1/2 size smaller than my regular size 9, as recommended by many reviewers, and they fit perfectly. The boots are waterproof, and the faux fur trim makes your feet feel like you're walking on big fluffy pillows. There is a nice-sized loop on the back to help pull your boots on. Very comfortable arch support.

These boots are WARM and COMFORTABLE. The first time I wore them, I didn’t realize I was walking in boots. They are easy to get on and off and I have received many compliments on them. This is my fifth purchase of Earth footwear, but not my last!!!

These boots are so comfy. I have a wide foot and ordered my usual size 8. They fit well with plenty of room for thick socks. The khaki color is really more of an attractive taupe and looks so good with jeans, Zappos sent them out so fast, and I received them the next day.

Best boot I've ever owned. They are so comfortable and I feel like I'm getting some exercise wearing them. My husband loves them and comments on them all of the time! I sprayed mine with waterproofing before I wore them for the first time. They are staying amazingly clean and we've had some pretty awful weather so far. I don't mind shopping in these boots either. They are like running around in a pair of slippers! Give them a try. I would highly recommend them!

These are great boots! They are roomy enough to wear heavy socks for those cold winter days and nights. They are very comfortable. They are somewhat loose fitting and the low shank is so not appropriate for more than six inches of snow. They worked wonderfully in our 4 inch snowfall. I'm very satisfied with them and recommend them.

I love the Earth boots that I just purchased. The fit like a glove very true to size. I would love to get another pair.

I just received the boots for Christmas. I have had them on all day and my feet are not tired at all. They are great looking boots, have had lots of love for your boots today. Plus, they exercise your body, too. Love them.

I love my Earth boots. They are so warm and comfortable. Finally a winter boot that I can wear all the time and walk around in comfortably! They do run a half size big. I had excellent service with Zappos. My first pair were too big so I ordered a second pair in a smaller size and received them the next day and returning the first pair was simple! They do have to be treated for snow and rain. I would highly recommend these boots!

Excellent footwear. Absolutely comfortable. I haven't worn anything else since I bought them. Fits a size smaller than marked. I'm normally an 8.5, but I fit an 8 in this brand. Excellent arch support, unlike the Uggs everyone is buying. These literally feel molded to your foot somehow. It's incredibly comfortable. And this style is my absolute favorite.
