Ditto what the other reviewers have said. I do have a high instep, but I thought "how tight could they be?" I could not even get them on!! They style is great and the color olive is gorgeous, but sadly these have to go back.

I've been eyeing these Uggs since last year and finally decided to buy them for myself for Christmas. I read the reviews about them being tight but I have fairly thin ankles so I didn't think they would be a problem. When I got them they were a bit snug. I wore them around my house for 2 says hoping they would stretch out but they only seemed to feel tighter and I had to get my daughter to help me pull them off! They fit perfectly in the foot. Just too tight in the shaft. I had to send them back. So disappointed because I really liked them.

I wear an 8 and true to fit but as stated by others have a tight ankle to push your foot through. I got off a flight and tried to change into these shoes but with feet slightly swollen it was really a chore to get them on. The tight ankle issue may be enough of a turn off in the future to consider ordering another pair. They look sharp, have a edgy Harley Davidson look and have received compliments. Not enough padding on the sole so it is not very flexible or comfortable.

I'm three months into owning this shoe and a little disappointed. I mainly went with Uggs because I saw you could order replaceable footbeds. Didn't know it wasn't standard on all Uggs. I take really good care of my shoes and have noticed the footbed wearing down on the right. I love the style, love the first month of wearing them, but really wish they were more durable.

These were comfy for first 5 minutes, but then I started noticing how wide the toe area is, almost duck-like, and how narrow the ankle is. Usually I like roominess in the toes but this was too much, and my ankles are slim/normal so I just don't see how they came up with this peculiar fit. The fluffy wool inside sure felt nice, but I have to return them sadly. They look kind of clumsy as well, compared to other Uggs.

This boot is very comfortable to walk in and keeps my feet warm. But my biggest complaint about the boot is that it is extremely difficult to put on and take off. The side buckles are only there for looks - they do nothing for making the boot easier to put on/take off. Maybe Uggs should make more boots with zippers. Also, the boot looks very clunky.

Thought these boots were very cute but when I got them, they were extremely difficult to take off and felt very stiff around the ankle area. By the way, these boots were one size too small. While shopping in the mall, I tried a size larger than what I normally wear but still boots were stiff and uncomfortable again. I returned the boots. My sister has a pair but she went with the Youth version because it had a zipper for easy on & off. I wish I could fit in a Youth size but can't!

I usually wear a 6 in Ugg's. I ordered a 7 in these and could not get my foot past the ankle part. I exchanged them for an 8, and had the same problem. The style is awesome, but not recommended for people with wide feet.

So sad! Had read many reviews on other sites of women not being able to get these on, and thought it was a fluke since no one mentioned it here. I wear a size 8.5 in other shoes, always an 8 in Uggs, am tall and thin and could not get these shoes on past the ankle! Got one boot on, sole length was perfect (and height of boot was great, these are really cute!) but seriously could not even get the other one on, and these were so cute that I really really tried! Had to send them back; these may not be for you if you're feet are bigger than a size 6!

Cute but... These boots are cute but are way heavier than they look! And heavier than the other Ugg boots I own. They seem to have a much thicker sheepskin lining, which makes tucking anything into them difficult. I am returning them!

Pros: Super cute, comfy and super warm. Cons: cannot get my foot into it! (I'm a thin person with a skinny ankle and still could not pull this boot on!) If it had a zipper, I'd have kept it. Sorry to send it back.

I was highly disappointed in this product. It feels and looks cheap, and is not in the least stylish.

Sizing seemed to run small and I had to send them back for the next size up. One ankle was WAY too tight :\

Exactly as others have said...impossible to get on and off without breaking your foot. Even not after about 20 wears, the ankle area is only slightly better and definitely not for anyone with athletic calves. Do make sure that you size up, as others have said. Plus, my feet kill me after wearing these for a while. They have no arch or heel support at all, but I rarely walk around in flats, so that's not unusual for Uggs.

Extremely stiff, to the point that they are difficult to walk in. They didn't look bad, but I opted for something more comfortable.

I am so sad about these! Overall, I love the warmth and general comfort of Uggs and thought this unique pair would be great. I was so excited that Zappos had two left in my popular size 7, so snatched a pair up. They fit great in the footbed, but I had the hardest time ever trying to get them on. The one I was finally able to get on took even longer to get off, and now my ankle is incredibly sore. These are way too tight on the ankle and have absolutely no give. I am not about to pay this much for boots that give me such trouble. Unfortunately, these are going back. This has never happened before with all four pairs that I own, so it's disappointing. Good thing for Zappos free shipping and returns!

These boots are super adorable, but I was only able to get on 1 boot (that was not an easy task). They are really difficult to get on thru the ankle. Other reviewers stated they had a hard time getting the boots on, but I would not have thought it would be so hard! Sadly these boots will have to go back. And I absolutely love Ugg boots.

I wear a size 8 and ordered a size 8 even though the reviews said to order a 1/2 size smaller. I couldn't even get the boot on my foot. This was the second pair of Uggs I ordered and both were too small for me. Don't know why people say they are large.

Adorable boots, too bad I couldn't fit in them. I normally wear a 7.5; I tried both a 7 and an 8 in this boot. Unless you have thin ankles and calves, forget about ordering these boots!

I ordered these and was so excited to get them, but alas I couldn't get my foot in one of them...I am hoping that I can exchange them. I haven't had a chance to wear them yet but have had them for 2 seasons.

I've been reluctant to purchase Uggs since I absolutely hate the styling of the originals. Until I saw these. But unfortunately, I have to agree with everyone else, these boots are tough to get on and off and that's without tucking in my pants. With the price tag they come with, I don't know if I want to wait and see if the leather around the calf area will eventually stretch wide enough. Very cute boot - horrible fit! Maybe next Fall Uggs will come up with another cute design that actually fits most of the population.

I ordered them in a size 7. I was so disappointed when they finally arrived and I could not get my right foot in to save my life not to mention getting the left foot in was very painful. I sent the size 7s back and waited a month for the size 9 to be available. I figured something was wrong with my right foot and well, the size 9s arrived and I nearly pulled a muscle getting the left one on, and could not even get my right foot in half way. I am a very big fan of Uggs and was very disappointed that this specific kind is the way it is. Needless to say I am relieved that it's not just me having this issue. Love my Uggs, but not that much.

There should be an option for no stars. The design of the boots is bad - it's nearly impossible to get the feet in and out of the boot. Once on, they feel wonderful, but I literally had to have my husband pull with all his strength to get them off. I thought maybe they will stretch out, so I wore them around the house to see if that would change before taking them outside. But no - they are impossible to get on and off without a major struggle. I don't care how cute they are if you have to pull a muscle to get them on and off, no deal! The good old fashioned Ugg boot is great and I was hoping this would be a good cold, wet weather option. Oh well.

Bought these for my 30th birthday...the right shoe was hard to get on, but I was finally able to get my foot in all of the way. My left foot would only go in half way. I have very narrow feet, and narrow width. I love the look of these shoes, but very displeased at the fit, and especially irritated that they have to be returned.

From a New Yorker: these boots look great but not for snow weather. They totally soak through! I used them to walk on the streets when it was snowing and my feet were totally wet. It's been 4 days and the boots are still wet.
