These boots are quite narrow in the calf area. One boot was a bit more narrow than the other as well. Overall a nice product, but we were a bit dissapointed with the fit in the leg area as compared to other uggs we have purchased in the past.

Love these boots! I wear between a 9-10 and ordered a 10 based on other reviews. The boots are snug in the ankle and can be a challenge to put on. I have narrow ankles/heels so the fit was right. I wear socks which can come off when pulling off the boot. If you want a boot that is quick to put on/off, this is not it. But I love them - very warm! You can wear them up or folded down to show the fur liner. And Zappos is very easy to work with! My boots were delivered within 48 hours just 1 week before Christmas. Easy return policy too!

I love these boots. The only main issue is the ankle area. It is so hard to put on. Wish it had a zipper in the side.

I love Uggs! This is my fourth pair. I think this style is so cute! I love the biker look. I am a 7 1/2 and in classic Uggs I take a 7. The other styles must run smaller/tighter because I have to get an 8. I listened to the reviews on this and got an 8 - a little tight, but I don't wear socks and they loosen up as you wear them. I just received them so I haven't actually worn them out yet - but so far a keeper.

I was just reading all the complaints about the boots being too tight and I have to admit, it was difficult to put them on, but there is an adjustable buckle around the ankle. I loosened it and they slip on and off. So in closing, did anyone try adjusting the straps before returning them?

Great looking boot. Fits true to size but very difficult to get on and off. Very tight around the ankle area.

I am a size 6 in Uggs and I have a very difficult time getting these boots on and off because of how tight the ankle is. The actual foot sizing in the boot is fine. However, I would recommend going true to size in these (ie if you wear a size 7 in other shoes, order a size 7 in these). Otherwise I love them and love the look! Unfortunately have to return and see if a size larger will work better for me.

I got these for my mother-in-law who has very thin feet and legs. We got her size based on other reviews. Though they do fit there is so much wool in there it is hard for her to get them on and off. She really likes them for the warmth though, and the fact that they don't look like the basic boring UGG shoes.

I ordered size 8 and I could not get my foot past the ankle area. I was very disappointed. I love Ugg and really wanted these as they are so adorable. I am going to try a size 9 but after reading all of the reviews I think I still may not be able to get them on. I will leave another comment after I get them. Zappos is the best though! I love them and will be back for sure.

Very nice boots, but it's very hard to put them on and take off. I needed help to do so. My size is 7.5, I ordered size 8 but it was huge, I exchanged them for a size 7, it's a little snug but they are very comfortable. Just very hard to go past the ankle! I almost returned them for that reason.

I normally buy men's shoes because I am a woman who pretty regularly wears a men's 10 1/2 to 11, so I wasn't confident these women's 12's would work out. I had already tried the regular/classic Ugg boot in a women's 11 as that's all the local store had. Also, in the reviews of the Kensington I had read, everyone said the ankle was really narrow and hard to get on and off. Fortunately, the Kensington has worked out great for me. The women's 12 actually feels like men's sizing in that it is wide enough for me and I have no trouble getting these on and off/ the ankle is not too tight. I even wonder if I could have worn a women's 11. But these are great! They are very warm and I like the style a lot. I would give them 5 stars if they had more foot support and were cushier on the bottom.

Just got my Kensington's in the mail. Wore them around. They are very comfortable. I feel like I'm walking around in my bedroom slippers. It was an ordeal trying to take these boots off, though. They are very snug around the ankle and do not slip off easily. It took a lot of twisting and pulling. Other than that, they are a very comfy and well made shoe. Order these boots half a size smaller than what you normally wear. I wear a 7.5 and I ordered the 7.

Well, I'm not the huge Ugg lover others might be - I wanted a pair for the comfort and ease to throw on on bad weather days. I don't find them particularly attractive. So I thought this pair would be better than the classic style. And it is kind of cute. But, as others have pointed out, the ankle is narrow and tight and the circumference is really too little to allow jeans to be tucked in. And in cold weather, I need to tuck in jeans, not leggings. Also, which I don't think anyone mentioned is that the tighter shaft and ankle makes the foot look odd - like extra big and makes the whole thing look out of proportion to me. I like the color. I'm obviously returning them. I will try another style and try to achieve my goal.

Extremely difficult to get on, I agree with all those other reviews. I did order a size up, too, an 11, but they were just too big when I got them on, however, were easier to put on. So I am sticking with the size 10, although it's terribly difficult to get them on, especially the Left one for some reason. They look awesome once on, though. Haven't worn them outside of the house, just wearing them around the house for now to make sure I can keep getting them on. Hoping they will stretch over time. I also love the olive color. I had ordered the bigger size in brown so I could compare, but the olive colored ones are fantastic. Just wish they were easier to get on. My husband was impressed with the look, though, not the usual sloppy look of the short Uggs, which I have a few pair of. Hoping these are better in the wet snow this year, too.

Sharp looking, true to size fit, and the slight push through at the ankle that you read about but nothing to be too concerned about. The only downside I'm seeing right now is that I was expecting the usual cushy Ugg feel and I was taken aback at how thin the cushioning bottom of the boot is and I'm wondering if it won't take long at all once the sheepskin wears down that I'll feel like I'm walking on the hard ground. You can even feel how hard it is to the touch when you touch the bottom part inside so I'm a little disappointed and concerned but it's too new to say.

I saw this boot on ZAPPOS. My first experience. My daughter is a ZAPPOS fan. I ordered my usual shoe size 6. I wear a 5 in the other pairs of UGGs I own. The size 6 was too long once I walked on the carpeted areas down the hallways. I phoned ZAPPOS to exchange for another size 6. I then waited 6 weeks for a size 5 to become available. I held onto to the size 6, in hindsight I should have returned both size 6s, but I was unfamiliar w /ZAPPOS exchange policy. I’m finally getting it down w/ the help of Customer Service, they’re the best. I have room in these warm boots wearing a thick sock. I like the exterior leather that it doesn’t get soggy in wet weather like the Classic. The combination of the thicker EVA sole and leather boot makes this a heavier weight boot. The sole on this boot doesn’t flex when walking. I didn’t have much of a problem pulling them on like some other reviewers. The design is fresh & slightly edgy for UGG, very versatile w/jeans or dresses. Due to the fact, I’m presently in need of back surgery, I rarely wear these boots & only for a brief period of time. They’re too heavy & the sole doesn’t flex. My back hurts worse after wearing them. A healthy person shouldn’t have any problem. I’ll be purchasing another pair of the Classic Tall UGGs of course from ZAPPOS.

I bought this boot for the cold winters in Chicago. The boot certainly does a great job of keeping my feet cozy and warm, and the overall look is pretty cute for an Ugg. I’m most surprised about the lack of traction on these boots. I’ve worn them a few times in the snow and found myself slipping and sliding far more than usual. Looking at the soles this isn’t too surprising: Aside from some branding and a few shallow cut outs, there’s not much there to grip the ice. This is disappointing as these are so warm and cozy that I really want to wear them in the snow. I wish I’d noticed this before I bought them. As noted by other reviewers, these shoes do not offer any arch support or cushioning. Overall I’m not sure these really deserve 4 stars, but 3 seems a bit harsh. They’re cute and comfy, but I don’t recommend if you plan on walking a lot in ice or snow.

Got these boots, and fell in love with the style...But, once I put them on they were way too tight around the calf, there was no way that a pair of jeans were fitting under these! Maybe a pair of leggings, but who wears them all the time! The look of the boot, the coloring, and warmth were all A+, but I can't say I loved the fit, which is a shame, because now I have to return them. :( Will always love Zappos though. Xoxo.

Cute boots. Hard to get on and off but because they are so cute I kept them anyway. My other Uggs can be slipped on and off without any problem at all. With these you have to really pull. I just make sure when I wear them that I will be wearing them for a while. 3 stars overall because of that but 5 for both comfort and style.

Sadly, these are being returned for one reason: I absolutely cannot get my foot into them! Ugg! I am a thin person (129 lbs, 5'6" tall) with a very small ankle - still could not get my foot inside without a great deal of struggle. Once my foot got in, it was cozy warm, but not worth the struggle. Too bad, great style.

I've ordered Ugg boots from other places and these arrived and appeared to be beat up, a little scratched with blemishes and a few tiny tears. Maybe from tumbling around in the box? I'm going to go out and by the care kit and hopefully the brush and Ugg conditioner will help with the stratches and blemishes. It probably won't help the creases that were already there in the boot. It would have been nice if they arrived with plastic sleeves, like other boots.

I fell in love with these boots the second I saw them and HAD to have them. BIG MISTAKE! Yes, I had read the other reviews about the ankle being tight, but when I came across one reviewer who recommended loosening the bottom buckle, I went ahead and ordered them (in olive). When I received them today, I was overly impressed with the color and style - they looked exactly as they do in the picture. However, I went to put the left one on and there was A LOT of resistance, especially in the ankle. I tried the buckle method, but it did no good. I finally managed to squeeze my foot into both the right and left (although the right went on a little easier) and tried them out for a little while (in the house, of course). I knew I wasn't going to keep them. The hardest part for me though, was GETTING THE DARN THINGS OFF! It felt like my (left) ankle was going to snap in half! If I hadn't been here alone, I would have asked for backup! However, after several minutes of struggling, I got my foot out, with a throbbing twinge left behind. If you are a first time Ugg buyer, please heed my advice and stay away! They may look great in the pic (and on your feet, once they're there) but the pain of putting them on and taking them off just isn't worth it!

I got these for my mom; they are very hard to fit into but look very nice and she has worn them for a bit and there is still an issue fitting into them. For comfort I would suggest the original Uggs or ones that come with a side zipper which gives a perfect fit.

I am an Ugg connoisseur and although I love these boots. They are so hard to get on and off. I should have listened to the other reviews, the ankle on these Uggs is the worst. I do not think it will ever be a slip on slip off boot. Too bad, because they sure are cute.
