I love this skirt -- it covers a myriad of flaws and it is a great basic but a with a little flare. The super wide elastic waistband is comfortable and keeps it in place, would work well for maternity too.

I love this skirt. Very comfortable and can dress it up or wear it casual. My husband thinks the skirt makes too much noise when I walk but it's not stopping me from wearing it. Love the skirt.

Loved this skirt but it also had some things that I hated. I'm 5'8" and was looking for a skirt to my ankles. It looked like this would be it but when I tried it on, it hit me about a quarter the way up my leg at a funny spot. Made it look even more off when I tried it on with heels. Also didn't like the waist. If unrolled, it goes all the way up to your bra. So if you fold it once down around your waist, it just increases your waistline making you look like you have a prego pooch. It's all cotton so more of a casual skirt. The skirt itself is beautiful though. I'm a size 4 so I ordered the xs due to what others were saying. I thought the xs was too tight in the rear and should've ordered the s. I ordered both the black and the plum color (which is 100% plain grey). I did notice that the grey one was a lot tighter. Even my husband noticed it when I tried them both on for him.

This skirt is really comfortable and looks super cute! I love the length (I'm 5'5 and the xs brushes the floor but the way the waist is, you can make it a little shorter if you want as well) and the skirt looks really cute. My only complaint is that I ordered the Atmosphere color and in the picture it looks to be a purple/almost wine color. It is no where near that color in person. The skirt is actually a grey color (I would call it a storm grey). The nice thing about that it is will go with a lot more of my shirts than the original color would have. So keep that in mind when you are ordering, because it you want the purple color, you won't get that. The grey is really nice though and I think that I will keep it anyway. Also it is good to know that the material is pretty thin.

I love XCVI, they are a curvy girls best friend. I so wanted to love this skirt. Sadly, no. The materials is very thin and it was way too tight on my booty and thighs. Not sure ordering a larger side would have helped. This isn't the best material if you are pear shaped. The color I received is "atmosphere" and on my computer screen it looked more of a wine color but it is grey.

Blends elegant casual, so very comfortable, like all styles from this designer/brand. I will probably buy other colors, if still available.

XCVI is a new brand for me. As all the other reviews say, it's terrific. The waist is adjustable for a dress or fold over for a skirt. Am 5'4" and 115 lbs. Hope Zappos receives more for other customers. You'll be very happy. Bought in a small and could probably have gone for an extra small. For info re: size. My hips are 38's.

I own three of these skirts and then another peasant skirt in a different style from XCVI. Their skirts are fantastic! The great thing is the flexibility of the skirt. It can be really dressed up or dressed down. They are comfortable and people seem to love them as much as I do. Well worth the money. Also, easy wash and dry!

Just got it today and I love it! Will most definitely be the new favorite skirt! A must have. Super comfy, super light! I think I am going to try to go buy it in white if they still have more available. I got an xsmall, fits perfect. I am 5'6" tall and 125 pounds.

This is the most awesome skirt you will ever wear. Runs a little big, but you can shrink it. Add to that the yoga-like fold-over, and it works. I can hike in this skirt!

Great skirt - the 3rd I've ordered because it's easy to throw on and hides a lot! The waist band is a little odd but comfy - hard to find a shirt that fits to the top of the waistband if you fold the waistband over to sit at hip level, but if you pull it up, it adds bulk at the waist. I usually pull the waist band up, but then wear a shirt that flows over it & a long cardigan or even a cute soft jacket that sort of hides the waist.

I had been looking for this skirt for quite some time. The quality was great, a little pricey, but worth it.

I love this skirt! I would not normally spend this much on a skirt, but I wear this skirt all the time. XCVI items are so flattering that they are all I will buy from now on!

I have this skirt in black, and it's awesome! I wear it constantly but Zappos can't keep them in stock! I ordered the white but it was so sheer I sent it back. If you don't mind a bit of sheerness the white would be good, but not me. The black is awesome I've been wearing it for going on two years and it washes and wears great and is flattering to just about any figure: forgiving in the waist; runs slightly large...depending on how you want the hips to fit. It's my favorite skirt ever. I love all the XCVI skirts that have the elastic band at the waist. Not fond of the draw string ones.

Just adore this skirt! It's funky, but not over the top, extremely comfortable, but also stylish. A pair of high heeled gladiator shoes give it just the right edge, feminine, but a little daring.

Love, love, love this skirt. Had one like it years ago and am so glad to have another. All the teachers at my son's daycare just complimented me on it when I dropped him off this morning, and one really pressed hard to find out where I bought it. It's beachy/flip-flop/t-shirt perfect and would also be edgy with a black, funnel neck zip up cardigan I have and some boots. Love!

Very flattering! Only issue is that it's a bit sheer. I have a lot of tattoos and you can see them on my backside through the skirt so I'll be wearing a slip. If that doesn't bother you then have at it!

Absolutely my favorite long skirt ever!

This skirt is very comfortable, but it runs large. I am only 5' 3" so the length was a an issue. My Mom discovered that I can pull the waist band up and wear it like a halt dress. Once I did this it was great. More comfortable and the perfect length. I don't think I can wear it as a skirt unless I get it shortened.

I really love this skirt! It is very comfortable and cute. Order a size smaller than you normally get. I would definitely recommend this skirt to a friend.

Why does everyone like this skirt so much? I saw all the five-star reviews and ordered immediately. But it's all gathered and bunchy (just like the picture, I should have known) and hits me almost at mid-calf (I'm 5'9"). It may have an A-line cut but you wouldn't know it from the lumpy way it falls. Nothing terribly peasant-like about it.

I had to go to great lengths to get my XCVI Peasant Skirt! Zappos do not deliver internationally... but I was desperate! I am fortunate to have a great friend in Florida who agreed to receive my Zappos delivery and then post it to me in Australia. It took a little extra time of course, but it was worth it. I love my Peasant Skirt! The fabric is ideal for the climate here and the style is so flattering! I love the versatility it offers as well - dress it up or down. I also love the length! I am waiting for the denim Peasant skirt to restock sizes! (Hurry Zappos - Winter is arriving here in Australia!) As so many have said already in reviews... the fit is generous so you can confidently order at least one size smaller!

This is the cutest skirt of all time; I get tons of compliments on it - totally hip.

I love my skirts, I have bought every color they have, love the elastic fold over top, very becoming and flattering to the figure. Love the fabric, well made, I have tried to buy every piece of clothing they make just about. I do like the fold over waist the best. I have a smaller waist than below, and oftentimes the waist of fitted things gapes at the back. This fits so nicely.

I enjoyed wearing the skirt. Got several compliments as it is unique and comfortable and that appeals to me.
