These shorts fit great. The material is soft and they are very comfortable. They fall just right at the knee as I don’t like my shorts too short, baggy or long.

The fit is true to size with the 505 jeans. They fit perfect and are the perfect length.

Very nice shorts! Really tough and they will last a long time like most Levi’s do for me generally. The only small complaint I have is I wish they were ten or eleven inch inseam. I still like them with nine inch

I am always worried about Levis and them changing style and fit of our old favorites, so cringe when ordering their products since quality at different production sites is a variable too. Thrilled that Zappos carries these shorts and they truly fit like a real old time 505...it's all I've ever worn for 50 years except when they ventured off for several years and made them short rise hip huggers until they realized the lost sales and returned to the traditional cut...whew! I had also bought these from a competitor quite awhile ago at a higher price and they are exactly the same shorts...manufactured in the same country. I wear a 34 waist and even after washing a few times have not shrunk too much...a 36 would be too big.

Tried and true Levi jeans! These "505's" fit right around the waist and then sit above your knee. I thought they might be a bit longer but keeping above the knee allows freedom of movement.

My husband likes the longer leg but does not like the leg to be wide. The 505 is so hard to find. It was nice to be able to order these and they fit perfectly.
