I need a 35 in. waist, which is almost impossible to find, so these are great jeans for my purposes. Yes, the overall quality has slipped a little over the years, but it is still fairly high. This size is simply unavailable in my city, so I'm delighted that Zappo's stocks them, and in various colors.

We ordered several styles of the mens Levi's, and the 550 relaxed fit were my husband's favorites. We also kept the 560's, but the legs overall were a little looser and looser in the knees. The 550's had a relaxed thigh and taper slightly down the leg for a more polished look without being too slim. We would like to order more of the 550's, but unfortunately, we can't get a consistent fit. We initially ordered 2 in the 34x34, stonewash, and the fit was perfect. Ordered 2 more in stonewash and rinse, but the crotch/seat was a little smaller in stonewash and the rinse waist was an inch larger. I hope the Levi's rep sees this review so they can hopefully get the sizing to be more consistent in the future because these are great jeans if you can find the right size. I do appreciate the amazing return policy Zappos has.

Very happy with the overall fit and design. My only real complaint is the finish on the jeans, particularly this color. The cotton seems to attract animal hair more than traditional 501 jeans.

Pants style are great NOW ONLY IF ZAPPOS WOULD HAVE SENT ME THE RIGHT LENGTH. I ordered 30" they sent me 32". First time I have ever had an issue with them.

Levi 550 are perfect for my body type, waist and hips about the same size and larger quads. I cannot find my size locally, never long enough for small waist.

I find these closest to a good fit since they : do not sit too low, are not skinny leg, Consistent fit from Zappos!. One thing I do not like is the room between the belt loops for a belt buckle, the "D" ring buckle are workable but tight. 4 1/2" for your buckle and the belt loop on your belt, Not terrible but can be finicky. iPhone plus size does fit into front pockets being about 2" deeper than top of pocket. High enough on waist for CC allowing belt to sit correctly on my hips for sturdy fit. I am 5' 8" and 160 lbs 34W x 30" Work great for tucking in shirts and CC items or just a light shirt ... for those who know what that is.

I purchased these for my husband. We had been searching for 550 and were glad to find them. My husband took his regular size and they fit him comfortably. The only thing that is a con is that the Tumbled Rigid is much thinner than years past.

550 jeans are the best jeans around. They fit comfortably. No complaints.

If you hate the way most jeans now have skinny legs and low waistbands, then these jeans are your answer. Great quality, although I am disappointed they have reduced the number of belt loops to just 5 with only 1 for the whole back of the waistband. I also wear dress boots a lot and the pant leg below the knee have plenty of room for the boots.

Not a good fit for a 15 year old. We ordered 34/30 and the waist is tight. Might just be the style as my husband wears these just fine. I expected them to be roomier since they are "relaxed". He does not have any issues with other young men sizes of 34 waist.

Well made pair of jeans in beautiful true black color. Just what I wanted and was not disappointed.
