I'm 57 years old and I've been wearing 517's most all of my life. Well, for about the last 20 years, I haven't been able to find them anywhere unless I get lucky and stumble across a pair at the thrift store. Then I saw a Zappos ad while on Facebook. So lo and behold; not only did I find my Levi's 517's, but they also had them in black, and my size too (34~29)! The price was great, so I ordered a pair and they showed up at my door the very next day in Va Beach, VA. They fit perfect and I never had to leave the house! I'm a little worried though that my wife will find out about Zappos. I mean, couldn't you just imagine a woman with a credit card getting lost in here?

These jeans fit very well, and the shipment came on time. It is the best boot cut I think Levis made. Good for heavier set people too.

I bought the 517s for my hubby by mistake (I swear that's what he usually wears, but I guess he typically gets the 505s, what does a wife know anyway...) but he loves the 517s better and won't go back to the 505s. What he likes the most about the 517s are the extra belt loops in the back. They were a little long (he wears a 31/36 which is very difficult to find in the stores) and he has to roll up the cuffs when he is walking around the house in his stocking feet. That is unusual for him as typically a 36 is just long enough. He loves how the extra length looks with his boots though, I like how he looks in them...

I am totally impressed with zappos.com and their service. I have a teenage son who just moved into the adult size and could not find the pants he needed in 28 or 29 waist anywhere. As recommended by a friend I shopped at Zappos online...not only did they have good quality pants in his size, but three pair arrived the next day and two more the following day. They look great and were delivered in exceptional time to my door!

You can't beat Zappos. Their prices are cheaper than anywhere that I've shopped. They carry my size which I can't find anywhere else and to top it off it's next day shipping free with a return label which is also free if you have any problems. Trust me - you can't beat Zappos.

Bought these jeans for my son as a gift. He loved them. Perfect fit and they look great. Bought the wrong size the first time and had to exchange the. My new favorite Levi's. I usually only get the 511's (slim/skinny fit) because I don't like to be swimming in material, and like my jeans snug without being too tight. These boot-cut jeans are the best I ever worn. I purchased them true to size (waist 30, length 32) and they are a nice, slim-cut only slightly flared at the bottom. Without a sea full of denim dragging you down.

Just what my husband wanted. This is the second pair he's ordered and they were less expensive than the Levi's site.

These are great jeans. As always, the cut is reliable and if it's what you like, then it's what you like. 517 were my first jeans so I'm quite partial to them. Thinner in the thigh with a flare at the ankle.

I bought a pair of the Levi's 517 black boot cut jeans in the wrong size. I promptly called Zappos customer service to inquire about exchanging the item for a different size. The representative was so professional and kind. Zappos shipped a replacement pair to me the very next day, even before I could return-ship the original pair. The jeans fit perfectly. I buy these jeans for my son, who at 6'3" and 145 lb. wears a 30x36. He loves these jeans and I am thankful that I can always get them in his size on Zappos! The black color is rich and dark, and he wears them as his "good" pants. Highly recommend.

This style of Levi's is very much perfect for the man with a wider and taller than average skeletal hip structure. I'm skinny, 6' 4" /175lbs, 34 waist and inseam. The rise and comfort are about perfect as opposed to the skinny low rise styles, which are made for men with skinny yet shorter frames. One can choose to leave the boot leg openings as designed for bulkier boots, or, as I did, taper them bespoke at the machine from about the knee down. The 517 is a nice in between from the 550, which I also like, and my new favorite for showing off fabulous shoes, the 508.

I brought these jeans for my boyfriend. The fit is just right for him. Not too tight fits perfectly over his favorite boots or sneakers.

Great jeans and love the fit. So happy Zappos has these in a 34 length. The boot cut is awesome and the best thing is that the jeans are relaxed in the seat and thigh area so super comfortable and yet look great.

I have been wearing these jeans for twenty years! I have always liked the fit so I keep coming back to them. I see now that they have more belt loops now.

I love these jeans, its so hard to find true black jeans anymore. They're actually cut a slight tighter than other Levis i have, but im not complaining. The bootcut is perfect for those that actually wear boots or if u want your jeans to lay a certain way on the bottom.

While all my other Levi's are 34X32, and I was comfortable with that size, I ordered the same for these jeans also. But I had to return them as they were too tight in my hips and thighs. I ordered the 35X32 size again and found them also tight, but not that uncomfortable. I did not return them as I can live with that. So take care while ordering this style as they might be a little tight for you in your regular size.

I would definitely recommend Zappos.com to everyone. I was completely satisfied with my order and was amazed at how fast it got to my house. I will use Zappos.com again.
