Exactly as expected.

I'm 6'1 and slim and the fit is perfect for these 501's. I actually ordered a pair and a month later decided to get another pair. Great style.

nice fit/wash well....he loves his Levis..

This pair was way too tight in the thighs and the annoying defect that plagues too many jeans—crooked outer seam (right leg) that points to your shoe laces (I absolutely HATE when that happens!) Otherwise it's a really good pair of jeans. Maybe I just got a lemon so I'll try again.

I usually wear 30/32, but those proved too long in this 501 version. 30/30 is perfect.

A little snug but not too bad.

The levis are very nice but l need pants 29 waist 30 l got 30w 30 lenght and l wash them and it did not shrink enough but l really like them haven't bought any in long time other stores were $50 and your are only $ 39.99 great price lm planning to buy more levis

I love the fit and size. The stretch material is right on point. I feel like a boss wearing Levi 501s.

The product is exactly as advertised. This size is hard to find so we were glad to find it on Zappos. The pants were delivered on the date promised.

The fit and style is spot on, my husband has worn 501 Levis since we married and we are going on 40 years. He will not even consider anything else. Love that Zappos carries them and they were on Sale!

I posted a review before and wanted to revise it. 501 jeans no longer run "true-to-size." The run large like the majority of Levi's jeans. I am no longer a 34 waist, but a 33 inch for 501 jeans, since they changed their sizing policy.

Female, wanted the good old 501 button fly from high school. First tried the ridgid shrink to fit. When tried it on, I realized I should of gone up 2 inches in the waist, so I did not wash them but returned them. Next, I tried the 501 button fly stretch in a medium stone wash. I ordered 1 inch up in the waist only because I am in between a 32 and 33. I ordered my usual in the length. Washed in warm and dried on medium. The fit is perfect. Not tight or loose. This Jean has just a touch of stretch and super soft as if you worn it for years. Here is what the material is made of: 94% cotton, 5% polyester, 1% elastane. The feel however is like 100% cotton. This is the closest feel and fit to my high school 501's. Although the material is not as thick, it sure is comfy without the guess work of shrink to fit. The jean sits just below the belly button, it is pre-shrunk but it did shrink just barely after the wash as any other jean does. It will probably stretch out a bit after wearing all day. For me it's just perfect!
