The jeans fit and look nice but I had to return because the button fly is horrible! It took me forever to get the buttons closed and probably even longer to under them. I'm glad I figured this out before nature called!

Careful: I have ordered about 8 pairs of these jeans since 2015. Something has changed in manufacturing. The pair I just received is 1.5 to 2 inches longer - bunching up at my ankles - than all the previous jeans I received. I did a side by side measure against another pair to be certain. Clearly longer.

These jeans do not fit like Original 501's. The waist is lower, the thighs are narrower. I purchased 'real' 501's a few months ago so I have something to compare these to. Don't be fooled. If you want skinny jeans, buy skinny jeans, not these.

These jeans fit well but they are very lightweight. Also the fabric they use to make the pocket bags these days is very disappointing and pills immediately. It's such a simple, inexpensive detail that makes a huge difference. Outsourcing and greed are unfortunate.

Our daughter had a country wedding, on the bridge, and the dress code was "dark denim jeans" easy? Yes, if you chose Zappos -- impossible if you chose to shop locally. Thanks Zappos.

Rigid-shrink-to-fit 34/32 (My size is 32/31, but I gave the shrink-to-fit a try): much baggier in the thighs than I expected. The post-washed color is much more "country" than the picture. Not as modern of a cut as I expected either. I wouldn't recommend as you can't return them after they've been shrunk.

Levi's 501 jeans just aren't what they used to be. With the last 6 pairs I have bought, one button broke off during the first wash and 4 of them had strange streaking after washing once. It's a shame because they are a classic.

Love these. Look great. One big problem...I'm a 38 waist and even bought up to a 40 to allow for shrinking. These shrunk so dramatically that I can't wear them now. My weight aside, after one wash these are useless or you have to jump off a house to get into them. I would suggest to all to double up the size. So if you're a 38 buy a 42 or 44. They shrink that much. Include this for the legth too or you'll be wearing high-waters. I wish I could return them but they've been washed.

What is going on with 501 sizing? I wear a 30/30 (not shrink to fit) size. I ordered the polished black in 30/30 a few months ago and they were impossibly tight so I returned them for 31/32, and I still couldn't even get them buttoned so back they go. Hey Levis, if I wear a 30 in one color I kind of expect the others to fit the same.

I have been wearing Levi's for 50 years. The new 501 originals are different than they used to be. Inferior to the old product. I am seriously considering changing brands.

I purchased a pair of Levi's 501 jeans last year, and unfortunately, they've been a huge disappointment. Despite wearing them irregularly, they developed holes and wore out in less than 9 months. For the price point, I expected much better quality. The fabric did not hold up, and the durability was far below my expectations.
This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with jeans. Considering the brand’s reputation and premium cost, the quality is simply unacceptable. I can't recommend these jeans to anyone looking for durability.

The cut on these is terrible. The width near the foot is just as wide as the width in the thigh. What is even worse is no zipper but button up. No man came up with that concept.

Dreadful experience! I have worn these jeans for years, and last time I went to order, they were out of stock. Zappos was kind enough to notify me (months later) when my size was allegedly in stock. I immediately ordered, and the jeans arrived early! That's when the trouble began. The outer package had a label that said "WRONG" (handwritten), and my size was handwritten on it. The actual package contained jeans marked by the manufacturer as a much larger size. Tried 'em on, and the manufacturer label proved correct. Meanwhile, Zappos site says it is *out of* my size. I have to trudge to UPS to send them back. Sure leaves me with a sour taste in the mouth.

These jeans are poorly manufactured. They use buttons instead of a zipper, and the buttons do not have holes to put them through.

The rise was too short. Material was stiff. And I didn't like the button front.
Sorry.

Levi is making absolute junk. First - stretch 501s??? Really??? The whole idea of the 501 is that it is 100% cotton!!! And they are already frayed on the pockets and at the bottom of the pant legs. Levi has destroyed the 501 completely. How about making jeans for those of us who don't want stretch pants that look like they came out of a dumpster??

My husband wore these only 3 times, and while bending down (he's a thin man), they ripped along the back left pocket. A 6 inch rip. The other pair of Levi's I ordered (501's) also ripped after the 5th time he wore them, in exactly the same spot. Never had this happen with Levi's before.

I was very disappoint to find that the 501 Original had a five button fly. That was not shown or brought up in the description. That means you cannot use a urinal without dropping your pants.

I went to Levis and tried on these exact jeans, in the same size I ordered. I ordered the same size and they don’t fit at all.

I didn't put them on, so I don't know about the comfort style or fit. They were dirty and I returned them.
