New Levi's jeans are now running smaller and using inferior quality denim. In the past year I've purchased three pair of Levi's jeans that have already worn out the crotch and have shrunk significantly (these of the pre-shrunk variety). The cut is tighter than Levi's of 3 or more years ago. An investigation on the web reveals many unhappy customers of Levi's brand. If you've worn the same size for years you'll find that these new Levi's will be much tighter AND will shrink significantly. Better to move up one size if you ego can stand it!

I was a bit disappointed when I got them because the legs were way longer than the 31" printed on the Levi's tab. Other than that service at Zappos is as usual excellent.

I wore this pants when I was younger and as I got older, I wasn't able to find my size, so I tried other brands, but none were as comfortable. Now that I found that Casual Male XL has my size, I won't wear any other jean!

This was the first time I ever risked buying jeans online but had to has I could not find what I wanted locally. I am perfectly pleased with what I got, & the efficiency & reliability of the service.

I think it is pretty sad that you cannot get 501's in a 28 or 29 waist! The trend is toward heavy people I guess. You have to offer large sizes but forget slim tall people. Also the original denim is hard to find! Guess this is why older people dress so poorly!

The new Levi 501s wear out too fast. Very disappointed in the Levis made in Egypt.

These pants are on point and reasonable. They are fresh and I would refer this site to any and everybody.

Waist size about 2" less than stated measurement and buttons are very difficult to button.

Favorite jeans with great fit. Love the button fly! They look great right out of the dryer and true white color.

Fit and color were off. Traditional 501 buttoned fly is an issue if you're in a hurry. Exchanged these for the Snap & Pop version which is a misleading name given the same buttoned fly.

My size was not available at Levi's outlets and on the Levi's site. I spoke to Zappos and they had them. I I bought them and the Levi's 501s arrived the next day via UPS and shipping was free. Zappos has the best customer service people that I have ever dealt with. If they did not have what I wanted they would have found them for me elsewhere. It does not get much better than that!

I bought these in the hopes they would fit, I first purchased the woman's 505's and was never happy with the way they fit. I don't like them too tight and so they sagged when I wore them. Very unattractive. These man's 501's fit perfectly without being too tight AND they stay up--no saggy derrire. I bought two pairs, one short and one long (flats and heels). With men's I got the exact length I needed. Thanks Zappos, great service.

Levi's, my favorite brand and the service from Zappos was excellent as usual. Free shipping and quick delivery cannot be beat.

Same great fit and style but the black fabric is a lighter weight fabric from the regular jean material, which is disappointing. Otherwise they are great!

I ordered a pair of Levi jeans, which seemed to run small once I tried them on. The return process was simple and quick. The refund was processed immediately. No hidden charges as with other companies. I ordered a larger size which fit perfectly. There was no return charge and the customer interaction was amazing. I would order again without any hesitation.

I started buying Levi's when I was 15. Back then STF was the only choice. Once they offered pre-shrunk I bought those until they changed the fit a number of years ago. Now it is the STF or nothing. I am a woman and do not exactly have slim thighs. I hate the way most women's jeans look and feel like they were spray painted on. I don't want baggy, but do not want skin tight either. I am also fairly short waisted and these are the only men's jeans that do not head too far north. There are a number of web sites and blogs devoted to custom shrinking and fading. I personally buy these jeans 1 inch bigger in the waist and 3 to 4 longer in length. I would rather have them too long than too short! Keep in mind that while denim will stretch with wear, it will also continue to shrink somewhat with many washes. More in the length than width I soak in a bath tub of hot water for at least an hour and hang dry. Try them on. If still too long, soak again, but this time once they have just barely damp, wear them dry. This is where I try to customize the fit in the thigh. If you want to go for the wiskering and honeycombing behind the knee, then do not wash them for at least three months. You can freshen them by sticking them in the freezer (the cold does something to the odor causing bacteria) or using a spray. When you do wash them, use cold water and either hang to dry or machine dry on low for several washings. The bottom line is the more you wear them, the better they fit you. Zappos' customer service and shipping is the best. This is my third Levi's purchase and I could not be happier!

These jeans are great. They have quality stitching and have a perfect fit. They are not real tight like skinny jeans and not baggy either. They have a classic fit and they look great!

Of course Levi's are great jeans... Price for these jeans was the lowest that I've found, plus, free overnight shipping? Wow.

I bought a pair of 501's at a Levi's store in NYC over the weekend. Wanted the white too but they were out of my size, so I made the order through Zapppos. These are not cut the same as the other pair I bought. Way too big. There is no sizing consistency with outsourced manufacturing!

These are great jeans at a great price. They fit true to size straight off the shelf. I wish there were more choices in my size so I could buy multiple pairs and save on postage costs to Australia. Go Zappos!
