Great color and comfortable. A little bit baggy down the legs, but that just may be because I'm skinny. The only thing I can complain about is the fly...it's 5 obnoxious buttons instead of a zipper; really, what were they smoking?!

I can always count on Zappos for consistent size and quality for all of my Levis needs. Their shipping and return policy is second to none. I recommend Zappos over wasting time and gas going to the mall any day!

Horrible. These are not 501's. They say 501's, but lately each time I buy them from Zappos, they fit different. I haven't grown or gotten shorter, I'm still a 33/34. Why can't Levi's make 501's consistent? Both pair I tried literally fit different from one another. I don't mean a little bit off...they looked like 2 different styles of pant.

What can you say about Levi's. They're great. And so is Zappos. I was most impressed. My order arrived within the time frame provided. I'd certainly use Zappos again for other products.

Poor workmanship. After 1 washing the hem came undone and raveled. The seam hem tolerance is also so small that upon the first washing it curled up on itself.

Classic denim. It is hard to go wrong with Levi's. My husband loves this fit. He is tall (6'2") and it is hard to find longer (34") inseam in stores. The button fly is a nice feature, too. Sometimes the zippers in Levi's do not stay up or buckle in weird ways. These are perfect jeans. 501s never go out of style.

Well... the actual review here is not the product, that's fine, but this rating here is about the service, quality, and guarantee from the company. And I don't mean Levi - but Zapppos! Both my wife and I agree, THEY are 5 star overall, in comfort, and yes, in style! Whenever shopping for something online, we always check first to see if we can get it from Zappos.

What to be said about a garment that except for minor changes has been worn world wide for about 60 years by all sorts of people in all kinds of circumstances? Well, OK: This pair was a little too tight which at first I thought was strange because the other Levis I have that are the same size are not too tight. then I realized I run into this every so often; a pair of Levis that seems to be sized incorectly, an inch too small or too large. Is this because they alter their sizing depending on current trends and the sizing isnt actually measured by waist and inseam but by some other standards depending on how people want the jeans to fit? This is a plight I am not fit or ready to do battle with and I wouldnt have bothered with this opinion except it's the lunch hour, I have a crummy sandwich and nothing else to do.

I ordered and received the Levi's 501, size 35 x 30 inseam. The received jeans were labeled correctly, 35 x 30, but were too long when I tried them on. I have other pairs of 501's with 30" inseams, and the inseams actually measure 30". However, when I measured the new pair, they measured 31+". The Levis 501 jeans are not supposed to shrink, so I can only assume they were not correctly manufactured. A 35 x 29 Levi's apparently is not made, so I'm returning the 501's and will see if I can find another suitable brand that I can try on before I buy. The Zappos team member I talked to on the phone was very helpful initiating the return, and looking to see if there might be other jeans with appropriate measurements. I guess the size is not too common, but I think I'll shop locally to find an appropriate brand, style, and fit. I will continue to shop at Zappos, and I do appreciate their return/free shipping procedures.

You can't beat the quality and consistency of the 501s. You also can't beat Zappos for service. Their prices might be a little more, but Zappos is worth every penny.

The best basic blue jeans. No bells or whistles, they fit like a dream. I get my husband a new pair every year or so, and they are the wardrobe item that he wears more than any other, bar none.

You're about to loose a long time consumer of 501's. The quality is going downhill, 4 buttons instead of 5, a much cheaper made jean! All this said, the price of the jeans are to high, the wrangler 13mwz is made better an a better quality of denim an can usually be bought around 19.00 to 25.00 dollars where the levi's are way over price, but I guess when there made all over the world what can you expect! So...I guess back when Levi Strauss was starting to sell jeans, the high waisted look was really in. Call me a snob, but even in my every day "comfortable jeans," I don't want the top of my pants to reach my bellybutton. The style is pretty close to being mom-jeans. Thank god for Zappos' liberal return policy. A better option for a comfortable yet more modern style is the Levi's 514 straight/slim straight. They're still pretty loose, but you won't look like your about to take a van full of kids to soccer practice.

Good old perfect Levis 501s. Simple, and timeless. You'll find them anywhere and you'll always get what you've always gotten. Perfection. Lots of different styles to choose from, from colors and washes. With 501s, you'll always find what you're looking for.

I purchased these for my son who absolutely loves them. He bought them in multiple colors. These jeans offer the comfort his was looking for and Zappos provided him with the sizes that were hard to find elsewhere.

I am so happy with this purchase. I bought them as a Christmas gift for my son. The fit is perfect. He loves them.

I could never get the size I needed for my Christmas gift for my man. Zappos had them and no shipping and quick. How easy. I'm hooked.

Quality you have come to expect from Levi. The price was the lowest I could find on the internet and the shipping rime was outstanding. I received the jeans very quickly. The description and sizing were perfect.

These are the classic jeans, the best fitting for me, nice soft, and the color is just right; they are dark blue at first and then fade of course.

Warm and comfortable. They are a bit bulky around the toe, so are not very sleek. And I would say they run a little large -- I normally wear 8.5 but think I could have gotten away with an 8. Overall, a great buy.

These are the only jeans my son will wear. He thinks they are very comfortable & durable. Not "high fashion," but well made and a great deal for the money. They were exactly as described!

New wrinkles on familiar, fine fabric - behind knees, at hips, take away from what could be a clean look. A good look and feel, nevertheless. At least the wrinkles are not faded. Ordered a 30 and a 29 waist, the latter measured 28. So much for quality control. Who is minding the store?
