I just got these boots today and I already love them! They are awesome. I have never ordered shoes online before and I was worried. However, Zappos was outstanding! My shoes arrived in 48 hours and the shipping was free. I am so happy I purchased these beautiful boots from Zappos!

These boots are adorable, very stylish, and very unique! I wear size eleven and they fit true to size - very comfortable, although with thick socks may be too tight. My only issue with these boots is the that they just barely zippered over my calves, and are absolutely impossible to wear with any type of jeans - only leggings or bare legs! I was very disappointed with that, I wish I could wear them with jeans and that they weren't so tight on my calves. Otherwise, I love them!

This is a fabulous boot! However, if you've got thick calves like me (currently 16.5-17) then you should pass on these. I'm keeping them because I've been slowly losing weight and I hope to drop a couple of inches in my calves--then they'll be just right. I wear a 10W and they fit my feet fine. Keep in mind that they're leather and they will stretch (I own two other Minnetonka shoes). I also wrapped the boot with scarves so that the fringe will lay down just right (when I received them, the fringe was sticking up in all directions, LOL).

I love these boots but they were way too small. I wear an 11 and they felt like a 10. The quality doesn't match the price but the newer soles are more durable and big city ready.

I did about a weeks worth of research on the Minnetonka 5-Layer Fringe Boot before finally purchasing and reading customer reviews, and comparing these to the 3-Layer Fringe Boot to see which would work best for me. When I finally purchased, I had extremely high expectations. Sadly, I found that the product itself didn't live up to them.I found that the fringes were incredibly short, and barely moved when I walked; and the footbed itself wasn't necessarily attractive the way I had hoped. I just didn't feel that it was a good representation of a moccasin. It didn't look authentic to me. Also, the boot completely stained my white socks within the five minutes that I had them on, leading me to worry about what they could potentially do to my jeans, leggings, or tights if worn for an extended period of time. Needless to say, I placed them back in the box, and will be returning them immediately. While I was dissatisfied with the product itself; the service from Zappos was incredible. I received an Overnight Shipping Upgrade upon purchase, and felt that the ease of requesting a return was something that will keep me coming back for years to come. In fact, I just ordered a pair of Frye boots from Zappos that I hope will work out better for me than these Minnetonka's did. Thanks Zappos!

Good quality and they’re so cute!! They fit perfect. I bought these about 2 years ago and they’re still like new and still so cute!!

I LOVE my Minnetonkas and these are no exception! So very comfortable! And, I've received many compliments every time I wear them! I wear an 8.5 and I bought the 9. They are a tad loose without socks but perfect with. Don't hesitate, buy them!

These are my go-to Fall boots. They are so cute and go with almost everything! They are extremely comfortable too. My only complaint is that the tie on the inside zipper fell off after a few months of wearing the boots.

I loved these boots but unfortunately I'm going to have to return them! My calfs are to big and I can't zip the boots all the way up so therefore I haven't worn the shoes since I purchased them. I'm sad that I have to return the shoe maybe I will try the 3 layer fringe instead

This boots are so cute and comfortable for this fall season. A must get

I love the style of these boots I only have one complaint they are not made for people with big calfs I have pretty big calfs and it's a struggle to get my boots zipped other than that I love these boots

WOW I too loved these on Anya on Project Runway - always been a fan of Minnetonka - these boots are to die for! I was worried about the sizing because a couple people said they have to size up. I am a true 9 and so are these gorgeous boots and they fit perfectly! I have thin legs and I just got them zipped up - which is great for me - bigger calved women should be aware of that. I bought the dusty brown and may have to buy the black ones next!

I ordered a 10 due to the other reviews - should have stuck with a 9! Now I have to reorder.

I normally wear a size 7.5, but as other reviewers had suggested, I ordered an 8. They fit fine, maybe just a tad long in the toe, but they zipped up over my jeans. My calves are 14.5". This is a narrow shoe as some have stated, and my feet are pretty regular width, but because the suede is soft, it just kinda molds to your foot. And I'm sure they will stretch out too, maybe too much eventually to which I will just wear thick socks. Being concerned that the narrow tow being too long might be an issue (and the ease and quickness of ordering from Zappos), just to be sure I ordered a size 7 as well. Well that was a flop. My toes went all the way to the end, rubbing against the stitching, so I returned them. A 7.5 probably would have been perfect. The 7 was a bit tight in the calf, although I'm sure being suede, they would have stretched out over time. Also, one shoe felt just a little looser than the other, but that's probably due to people trying on the right shoe more, but it wasn't enough to keep me from ordering them. I kept the 8's and wore them all last night with thin socks. By the end of the night, the heel panel started rubbing a bit, but I'm not too worried because I'm still confident that as I break them in to my own foot, and wear thicker socks, they will be a go-to boot for comfort...and just plain fun!

I don't normally write reviews but I had to with these boots! I get compliments every time I wear them and they are so comfy! Don't hesitate! Buy them now!

When I read the reviews I ordered half a size up and the boots were large around my ankles and I had extra room on my toes. I have allergies to polyester so I like these boots because they have leather inside as well as the foot bed. I like to not half to wear socks so with heavy socks they fit okay but with no sock or light socks they were too big made my stride very clumsy. Almost all the reviews I read suggested to order a full size large and I did not agree. I feel this boot will fit best to go down a size and then no big deal wont stain your socks and fits the foot better. These are definitely summer house boots or run to the store boots so should be worn with light socks to fit like a glove.

I have wanted these boots for 30 years, and finally bought them for myself. I love them! They are fun, like I expected, but so comfortable, too. They feel like a slipper on--very soft and conforming to my foot. Not a heavy-duty sole, but I didn't expect one from what is basically a tall moccasin. Only one complaint--the shaft is too small for my calves at the top, and my calves are not big. I just leave the top inch unzipped, and it's fine, because I love these boots and am NOT GIVING THEM UP!

I Love these boots! they are so stylish and you can wear them with a lot of outfits! Unfortunately, they didn't zipper all the way up my leg...it stopped about 2-3 inches below the top. I wear a size 11 and the foot part fits perfectly but the leg part wont zip all the way up. And I have a pretty slim calf.

I love my new 5 layered fringe boots. I'm an '80s girl and I was never sure about wearing fringe but always loved the boots I had seen others wear. Well, I hadn't bought boots off any website before, but had looked at others who had "rules and memberships." Not for me, I looked many places and finally decided to take the plunge and get both the five layer fringe and the Front lace-up Hardsole Knee-high boots. They are like heaven on my feet! I love them and have gotten so many comments on them! It's amazing how many people still love the fringe and leather footwear. I have been telling everyone who asks where I got them from, the only place I will buy my boots from is Zappos.com! The fringe on my boots are holding up nicely, they move fabulously when I walk! I've checked it out in the windows when walking by! I love them! Thank you!

Love this boot, but unlike the other reviews I needed to go up instead of down. I usually wear a 6.5 and I purchased a 6 after reading the reviews...after wearing around the house my feet were killing me! So I am returning for a 7!

Zipped up! Just letting you girls know that I am 5'1" and 130 lbs, and I got mine (size 6) zipped over jeans. I won't say it was easy, and it was certainly a snug fit, but I expect that to loosen with natural stretching. You need to work it carefully, pulling the edges together as much as possible inch by inch, flexing your foot into different positions if it helps. In other words, don't rip the zipper off trying to force it when the edges are wide apart. It's possible!

I got these boots a week before Halloween on another site because my size wasn't available on Zappos (ofcourse they were available 2 days after I ordered mine) but anywho, I went a size bigger like many ppl suggested and they are TOO big! I just try to wear thick socks or 2 pair of socks. I'm a 10 and I got an 11 in the brown and my feet are swimming. But I LOOOOVES my boots! They match everything! And the calf fit exactly!
