I love the Fuencarral line by Pikolinos. They are well made and have a unique look to them. My only complaint is, for someone who with wide feet, I wore through the leather on the side/bottom in only a few months of wear. If they made these in a wide, they'd be perfect for me.

I'm on my third pair of these. I absolutely LOVE the way they feel and fit my foot. I get a lot looks and compliments on them. However, I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 because on every pair the stitching has given out within a year. Typically on the front of the shoe, where it gets the most abuse. Don't get them wet, this accelerates the deterioration of the threads. I threw my first pair. The second pair I've had repaired twice(it's about $20 to have them re-threaded) and I still use them for casual days. My latest pair I wear when the mood strikes me.

A little tight in the width, but hopefully stretch out. Good looking shoe!

This is my third pair of the Fuencarral. I also have 2 pair of the same shoe in the blonde color. I love the shoes but this pair seems to fit tighter than the others and rubs my little toe. I'll try stretching them with shoe trees and see if that helps. Other than that, they are very stylish and I enjoy them.

I just received these shoes. They fit perfectly (size 45), they are light and comfortable. I've been wearing them for a few hours and I'm impressed. This was exactly what I was looking for comfort and style wise (see below for my one issue). Shipping was awesome, as a first time Zappos buyer I was impressed. I have one complaint that Zappos needs to fix. I ordered the Olmo Leather, the picture shows the stitching as being dark red. On the pair I received the stitching matches the leather. I liked the Olmo color over Cuero because of the stitching contrast. Everything about these shoes is great I just wish the picture was accurate because the stitching just adds a bit of style I appreciate.

These shoes appear to be excellent product, unfortunately not for my feet. I love the style, but had an awkward pressure on my toes despite the rest of the shoe fitting lightly larger than my typical size 42 shoes.

I really *really* like the style and fit of these shoes, they are great. They fit incredibly well, they are made of very nice and comfortable leather, and the style is casual but a little professional, ideal for work in my case. Unfortunately, the back corner of the heel has worn through after only wearing them a few times. I don't have a strange gait, I wear other shoes without this problem, and look how they're basically ruined after having them for just a couple of months. The rubber sole pieces on shoes like this from other brands wraps around the heel corner to avoid this. A shame, especially for such nicely crafted shoes and considering their price.

I really love the way these shoes look and feel, but they fall apart very quickly. I returned my first pair, and Zappos replaced them immediately. The second pair lasted a bit longer, but only because I tried to wear them less frequently and avoided wearing them on wet days. The problem is that the toes are vulnerable to scrapes and the stitching breaks and unravels, allowing the toes to open up. The leather at the toe wears very quickly as well. I know that I walk a lot in the city, but for this price, these shoes should last longer than a month.

I love the style of these shoes, received lots of compliments. But unfortunately the shoes were just too hot and not enough ventilation for Hawaii weather. My feet were always soaked.

I find things I like, and I tend to get them time and again. I love these shoes. Unfortunately, one of them had the stitches start coming apart (on the front of the toe box) in just a few weeks of wearing them. I'm seriously thinking about just getting a replacement pair, because I've had another pair of Pikolinos for over a year and I also love those shoes. I am hoping that the stitching problem was a one-off.

The stitching started coming apart after only two months of daily wear. Disappointed with the durability of a pair of shoes that cost nearly $200.

I bought this shoe directly from the Pikolinos website. It is very stylish and comfortable. However after less than 6 months of casual usage, the front stitching on one of the shoes unraveled. My local shoe repair could not fix it. I photographed the shoes and asked Pikolinos whether I could get a credit for another pair of Pikolinos. They asked for confirmation of my purchase which I did not have at that time. I have bought 4 pair of Pikolinos because of style and comfort. This is the second pair where the front rubber toe pad is not adequate to protect the stitching. I consider this a design flaw for this style of Pikolinos. The first pair of Fuencarrals I bought thru Zappos and they immediately gave me a credit. Pikolinos customer service should learn from Zappos. My other 2 pairs of Pikolinos with complete rubber soles are great and I wear them constantly.

I like the ways these shoes look and they're fun to wear. Unfortunately, they have a fatal flaw, which is that anytime I wear them in the rain, they leak. Not a lot, but if I step in anything more than a mm of water, a small wet spot forms in the bottom of the shoes. I'm not talking about wearing them in a downpour; this problem happens even during typical Seattle drizzle. If you live somewhere it rains only occasionally, then these are great shoes. But they aren't the best choice for wetter climates.

These are great looking shoes, but do not buy them. Mine lasted six months until holes formed in the front of the shoes. They are now pretty much done and there is really no way to repair them.

Second pair of this shoe that we got since December and both started falling apart after just a couple months wear.

Can't get these darned shoes on that don't have actual laces. Not an improvement to have preset elastics.

My husband has not worn them very often. He loves the shoes, but the stitching in the toe area is coming undone and they aren’t wearable. Unfortunately, not worth the money.

The leather pulled away from the sole at the heel after just the third or the fourth use, letting the elements in. Contacted Pikolinos with zero response. Pretty unacceptable, especially considering these were $170 shoes. The $100 Rockports (Classic Break Plain Toe) purchased at the same time have stayed looking and feeling fantastic. I'm staying away from Pikolinos in the future and have advised family and friends to do the same. There are plenty of good-looking shoes in the market.

The stitching in the front of the shoe came loose and the shoe then completely fell apart not once, but twice. After the second pair falling apart I'd not recommend buying these.

This shoe is a stylish moccasin additionally, it is also quite comfortable, BUT the build quality is extremely poor. After several wears, the sole pieces started popping off, so I glued them back into position. These shoes are quickly continuing to disintegrate. Because they are so comfortable, I wish they were better made. I will not buy this brand again.
