I am on my fourth pair of these. They are the best shoes. The problem is I'm on my forth pair. They do not hold up. Front toe stitching always comes undone within a month or two of wear. Great to have though just disappointed that they always fall apart.

Super comfortable, well made and wear great. We really like these shoes. They may size slightly small (meaning consider ordering a half size up if you can).

I had bought the black pair in Tucson AZ. They were the most comfortable shoe since I was a kid and wore moccasins. I ordered the brown on Zappos and they are like wearing kid gloves on your feet.

These are very comfortable and stylish. Will buy again when recent purchase wears out. Could stand for a small redesign on toe protector as leather scuffs and wears on either side of existing toe protector. Zappos is a terrific on-line retailer!

Bought this shoe for a recent trip to Italy where I knew I would be walking around - and wanted some style over sneakers and to leave my Luccese boots (also bought from Zappos!) behind. First off, this shoe runs small, so I had to replace it after it shipped out the first time; watch the Euro sizing chart and go at least one size up from what it says. Next, as other reviewers note: this shoe is like a slipper and has virtually no arch support. That said, I replace the insoles with some Dr. S athletic profile arch support insoles and it worked perfect! Even though the shoe has little sole, I was able to walk long distances with no problem - and the slip on/slip off design (with no laces) was great for getting through airport TSA lines. Highly recommend. Great workmanship, construction, materials and high style. Go for it!

After seeing a well dressed gentleman on a tour we were on -- and noticing his shoes, I asked about them -- since they looked like they would feel like a sneaker, but were so much better looking. I found them on Zappos -- very exciting. So I ordered them for him for Christmas, and he loves them. He likes the way they look, but even better the way they feel. They were worth the investment -- now I need to find some cute ones for myself.

They are beautiful. In spite of being slip ons they fit very comfortably. They have no true support. After wearing them for half a day around my studio, I found my feet hurt. Recluctantly, I returned them. But they are beautifully handcrafted. So, sorry.

This is a phenomenal shoe. Very lightweight and stylish. I receive many compliments on them. They provide all day comfort and breathe well. My order arrived exactly as planned and the fit was ideal. I couldn't be more pleased.

LOVE these shoes! Have had 2 pairs of this model, the first had holes in the sides (vents) that were very nice, unless it rained. :( They have lasted fairly well (2 pairs lasted 3 years). I agree that they are soft and comfortable with little arch support. Must adjust your walk so you land on the arch instead of the heel as they do not have any cushioning in the heel. I have spent 100 hrs/wk in the OR in these shoes and had very happy feet over the past year! Also, they look good and I have gotten many compliments on the shoes.

Very soft...no break-in required. Stylish...got lots of compliments on them. Padding around heel is nice too. As with all shoes that have the leather extending around the rubber pads on the bottom, not for wearing in the rain or snow!

Love these shoes! Spotted them when we were traveling in Europe but they didn't have my size. When we got back to our hotel room we found them on Zappos, ordered them on the iPad and they were on our doorstep when we got home.

My husband is hard to fit. We ordered these Pikolinos and he wore them the whole day and said they were so comfortable. They are as smooth a silk inside. Great shoe and they look so european!

I love the light weight and flexible soles of these shoes. Closest thing to being barefoot. On top of that they look good with jeans or slacks. Note: I think the contrasting color of the fabric in the tongue is a really bad idea, but a black permanent marker resolves that!

This is my second pair of Pikolinos Fuencarral shoes. Truthfully, I loved the first pair to the point that I wore them out. Great feel, exceptionally light, and comfortable. They are an exceptional value for the money! This is the best pricing at Zappos.

Great look! I have received numerous compliments in the first couple of weeks of wearing them. They are not very supportive, but still feel great. Like wearing a more firm slipper.

My husband ordered 6 pairs of shoes, and these were the ones he decided to keep - definitely the coolest looking, and he had no complaints about the comfort.

I bought this style with a buckle but you seem not to make it any more. I can not do a slip on shoe.I would like a buckle or velcrow strap so that I can open it so I can get my foot into it. I am handycapped an the buckle style works great!

I like the style of these but they were too narrow for my flat feet (9.5-10). Really surprised on the sizing, I bought another pair of Pikolinos at the same time and they were too large (9.5-10). I wasn't expecting the elastic sewn in shoe laces, wasn't a fan of those as I feel they'd wear out and not be replaceable for a shoe that is quality built and would last a couple years of normal wear.

Uniqueness in style is what I look for in a shoe and these are definitely there. The stitching contributes to the look of the shoes as well. Shoes are a bit darker than they appear in the photo but fit nicely and I will definitely be looking for the San Telmo in my size hopefully.

I liked the styling and fit. The biggest drawback was the level of comfort. I would provide a raring of 3 on the comfort provider by the shot.

This is my second purchase, of these shoes, after wearing out the first pair. I’m usually a US9.5, but sometimes a 10. The 43s were a bit long, which wouldn’t normally be a problem, except for the reason that many others have cited, and even I experienced, with my first pair, of the stitching breaking at the big toe, leading to failure. This time, I got a 42, believing that the reduction of the extra 1/4” of length, at the big toe, would reduce friction, on the stitching, due to unintentional toe dragging, during walking, to a significant degree, leading to a much longer life of the shoe. Well, I guess I won’t know for a year. I will point out that this is nominally a driving shoe. It is not marketed as a walking shoe. I also race cars, and even when off the track, I like to operate my vehicle pedals with precision control. For that, these shoes are pretty great. They have a medium to high padding level, compared to other driving shoes. Also, the designer sells OE replacement insoles, to refresh the level of padding, after a year of daily wear has worn them thin. For me, this is important, as a medical issue mandates a more padded shoe, and I have yet to find an aftermarket insole, at any price, which beats an original insole. A review, of these shoes, would not be complete, without mention of the design and look. You will be noticed. For better or for worse, bear that in mind, with this purchase. In summary, it’s a great looking and performing shoe, for driving. The stitching is likely to fail, but the remainder of the construction is very sound, and a good cobbler can repair the stitching, as needed, to keep these shoes, at their best, for a long time.

One of the nicest pair of shoes I've ever owned and probably the most expensive...Worth every penny!

My husband loves this shoe more than any shoe he has ever owned for the comfort, quality and casual yet sophisticated style. Just don’t expect to get them in Black with the Green interior/black “shoelace”. After 4 tries, we kept receiving the Black shoe with the light Brown interior/dark brown “shoelace”. There isn’t a separate style number for the 2 different black shoe styles. The subtle brown detail actually looks great and he is very happy with them. He would also suggest ordering one half size up.
