I use these boots for work (utilities) and so far (1 month) they've performed great. I hope to not report on the steel toe or EH rating, but so far the waterproof membrane hasn't leaked. Rugged styling which is functional... I like the external toe coverings since I tend to be rough on bare leather. These are scuff free so far. They are a bit heavy with the standard steel toe, but haven't caused any fatigue. The dual threading options for the laces (at the top) make for quick fastening. Bottom line: When I'm ready for new boots, Timberland Pro is where I'll start.

So far so good... I picked these up for work, a couple of weeks ago, where site visits are regular and steel toes are a must. Out of the box, they have been extremely comfortable with a minimal break in period. I’ve been finding these very useful in the recent snow storms where the water proof boot has been water proof. I’m on the site to order another pair right now. I figure that one day they’ll give out and I’ll have my replacement pair waiting for that day. I assume that it will take a while break out the new pair as these Timbos are very well built.

This work boot rocks! I had a pair of Converse (Composite Toe) and the toe section became loose after only 3 months. When I purchased these shoes, I had no problem with the fit or toes hurting from the composite toe. These are very well built boots and look great. I will purchase again when it comes time.

These are great boots! They are comfortable to wear right out of the box. My job takes me into landfills almost daily, walking through mud, slime, sharp debris and other nasty things. These boots are holding up very well and with no wet feet!

Once again, Zappos rocked the Mic! Shoes came in two days.Hefty, safe, slip-proof, did take a little breaking, in but extremely comfortable. Best work boot I've ever owned. Ever. Thanks Zappos

My husband goes through 2 pair a year of this exact boot. He loves them...the only issue is that the insole wears out very soon. He uses the work boot insoles...they are worth the money to keep him comfortable.

I am a delivery driver and am running up and down a ramp in and out of the trailer of a semi truck all day. I bought these boots hoping to finally find a boot that would hold up and be comfortable all day and I found it. The rubber on the toe is nice, too. I handle skids all day and the rubber toe cap takes the abuse of dropping skids on it and kicking the skids around all day unlike a leather toe that gets all torn up. The only down side to this shoe is that it needs a MUCH deeper and aggressive tread on the sole. I have had these just over 6 months and I have almost worn out the tread already.

Well, best pair of boots I have ever bought. I'm on my foot 12 hours a day lifting, carrying, pulling, climbing. They're comfortable and sturdy. Along with the waterproof, they're great. I gave them 4 stars. The reason being for such a great boot they have one drawback for me and it appears most others. That is they are heavy boots. I read them in the reviews as being heavy but said how heavy can they be and I would get use to the weight of them. 3 weeks later I'm not quite used to them but they are wearable and do the job of comforting and protecting my feet. I'd recommend them.

These are very nice looking boots with a good feel and fit. They are a bit heavier than I anticipated, but in the landscaping/maintenance business this can be a plus. I have yet to put these to work, but look forward to giving them the "acid" test.

This is my 4th or 5th pair of Timberland Pro's. I have a wide toe box and these are a great fit out of the box. I work outside year around as a power lineman. I climb poles, dig splice pits in mud and water, work in rain, snow and 100+ degree temps, over 600+ hours extra a year. I like Timberland boots but the soles are worn out (actual holes) after 7 months and the waterproof liner no longer keeps my feet dry. Even in dew covered grass. Purchased my last pair of Pro Endurance steel toe boots in june/july this year. I guess it is time to try another brand

The pad at the ankle is pulling away from the body of the shoe, making it a bit warm in the summer.

These did not even last five months, the soles started to fall off and the inside material fell apart.

These have to be the cheapest boots I have ever experienced in my life. The first time out of the box, I put my right foot in and accidentally stepped on the liner at the heel as I put my foot in. I tried to force my foot downward, and the outward leather started to tear away from the liner. It's not like I put 100 lbs of force on it either.
I would stay away from this boot for fear of it falling apart on you! It's clear that you are just paying for the Timberland name if you buy this shoe.
I immediately sent them back and got the Carhartt 3760 6" steel toe and have been much more satisfied.

This product does not represent a boot worthy of the name Professional. I received my first pair on 1/27/10. This pair was exchanged and my replacement pair arrived on 3/4/10. A month later my replacement pair is falling apart. The rubber toes on both pairs is/has fallen off. Both pairs experienced separation between the leather and sole. With this separation, the waterproofing fails. These boots were worn daily for work for a minimum of 12 hours. I am on my feet for the majority of the day. The comfort level would have been higher except for the multiple times I experienced wet feet. In dry conditions they are comfortable. I would strongly suggest you look into another pair of boots if you have the potential to encounter the conditions I do. These include: walking a mile or more daily in loose footing/rock, climb in and out of machines, walk-in mud, snow, grass, clay, rock, sand, and rain. Or some super glue and boot waterproofing, your choice.

Work in logistics in a warehouse setting. I typically need to purchase boots every 6 months. These lasted a year and would have kept going if the inner lining didnt have a hole that my heel kept getting caught in when taking them off.
This time around, I purchased my 2nd and 3rd pair together. I dont want to run into them being discontinued.
In college, I used to seek out a 6" shoe that was the lightest around to play ball in. Now I find myself seeking a 6", steel toe boot that is comfortable. This Timberland Pro boot, IS heavy out of the box, but I wear them for 14/16 hr shifts and have yet to be in a rush to take them off because of discomfort or pain (unlike all other boots before these).
They do make me an inch or so taller. It is noticable when I step out of them daily.
The only thing I dont know what to do about is how to keep them looking clean. I am not sure I should be using the shoes polish stations around my work building on this material. I'm sure there was probably a slip of paper that tells you how to maintain them in the box (but they had about 10 different ad slips and I prob overlooked it as they all went in the trash).

I wear about a 12 in Nike's skate shoes, and 10's in DC. Work boots are different but they feel perfect and help get the job done. I'll have these for a long time.

My husband wears a size 15 shoe so sometimes it's hard to find a good shoes. He loves these and would definitely buy a pair again. He wears them almost every day doing demolition and construction. They are built sturdy and had no break in period.

I've worn these workboots for two months, and I think they're the best workboots I've ever purchased. I have low arches, so I added Dr. Scholl's orthotic inserts in them, but I put the inserts in all of my shoes. The boots keep my feet in great shape all of the work day-my feet are well supported and the shoe has a good cushoning that doesn't feel too firm or too soft with a slight springiness to them. I have to climb ladders, stairs, and walk long distances-this is a very good work shoe.

I work as a mechanic and also out on the farm. These boots are the only boot I can wear every day without my feet and knees hurting at the end of the day. Each pair I have had wears out in the same couple places and I have to get a new pair every year, but not having leg pain is worth it.

Great boot. Felt comfortable from day one. Definitely no "break in" time. Have worn these for years just the length of time these last has gone downhill.

Had these boots 16 months and they definitely did the job for a concrete driver. The only complaints I have is having to replace the shoe laces four times on Timberlin's defense concrete completely destroyed the shoelaces every time so now I am going to try the MET GUARD BOOTS. I also had to install Dr. Scholl's work Boot for more comfort six months after wearing. I really can't complain as long as they lasted me compared to everybody else at the job having to buy two pairs of boots every 12 months...

I work on my feet 8 hours a day in a tire shop (on concrete floors). I bought these boots for style, comfort, and safety reasons. It takes about 2 weeks to break these boots in, after that they are comfortable for an 8 hour shift. The quality of the boot is high, but you also pay for it in the price. My only small complaint (4 star for overall) would be that they are too heavy. I did have to buy the boot 1 size larger than my other shoes, and in the wide EE size. Other than that, if you work on your feet all day, these are great on hard floors.
