This is our fifth pair of Kamika. The product is always reliable, durable, and warm. Unlike some other winter boots, this boot is easy for my daughters to walk and play in the snow. We like the removable insert. Nth is feature makes it easy to dry the boot out. Full endorsement for the brand.

My daughter wanted to like it--she loved the color and style (and I loved that it was made in the USA--assembled in the USA). However the cushioning/footbed area would not lay flat and she found it uncomfortable.

It hasn't snowed yet, so the boots have only been walked in around the house for fit and comfort purposes, that's why only 4 stars. They are nice looking, fit as expected, and the top cinches shut so snow doesn't get in their feet!

I bought them for long winter walks in the snowy frosty weather. They seem comfortable and my son likes to put them on. But sometimes when he takes them off his feet are cold. So I'm not so sure if they are really warm as advertised. When it happened a couple of times I started putting wool socks in addition to cotton ones on my son's feet. Moreover, a couple of times his feet and the inside lining of the boot were extremely wet, too. I don't know if there was something wrong with water resistant qualities of the boots or my son's feet perspire so much.

Purchased these for my nephew. He is a slender kid with average feet. He felt the boots were tight width wise and uncomfortable. Thus I returned them immediately following him trying them on and giving them them thumbs down. Seemed to have plenty of room in the toe. He was in a size 2 big kids boot and needed a size which is what I had purchased.

The top drawstring survived 1.5 months of elementary boy use on the boots before the cord snapping at the back. Haven't had this occur w/ this brand before. Had several other models from this brand and they've survived multiple Minnesota winters with vigorous and frequent usage w/o issue.

These seem like very solid, durable boots, though large and clunky. However, they did not fit my son. Though he does not have wide feet, these boots were too narrow on him, pinching his pinky toe. We had to send them back.

Too small. Need to order one size bigger. Also my son would probably not be able to put on these boots consistently by himself. The liner moves around and he would put is foot in behind it. I won't be ordering this style again.

Style wasn't top of my priority. I wanted a boot that was going to keep my son dry and also one that he could take off and on himself. While the boot is super cosy, or so he tells me he physically can't pull the string tight enough so would still need a little help. The pull string at that calf isn't strong enough and doesn't stay closed. Its fine for walking when the streets have been cleared a little but when he is playing in snow that is above his calf level the snow can get it. No matter how much I pull the string it loosens. So we still end up with snow inside the boot.

I ordered a big boy size 7 for both kids. My kids both wear a 6.5, but I wanted them to have plenty of room for thick socks. The boots were extremely uncomfortable for both of my boys. The inner lining is bunched up in the toe. They didn't like how the inner lining bunched all the way around. It made the boots feel an entire size smaller. Unfortunately they didn't work out and we need to return. They have worn Boggs in the past and have been very happy.

These are ok. Definitely keeps my 2 year olds feet warm and dry but they're so thick and stiff, so hard to get on. He was in tears until I through him in the snow and he was distracted by the fun of building a snow man. But it's a struggle to get these on and he walks really funny in them.

I bought these in a size 4, hoping my son could grow into them and use them for 2 winters. But these were so narrow, they put crazy pressure on his forefoot! And my kid has average (bordering on narrow) feet. Very disappointing.

I didn't get these boots from Zappos (big mistake) but I wanted to review them anyway. I read such good reviews about Kamiks but I was so disappointed in these. The string around the top broke the very first time my son wore them. I wrote to Kamik's customer service and they weren't helpful at all - they told me to return them...after they'd already been worn! So I've been using them anyway, broken string and all, for the last few weeks. The body of the boot does seem high quality and like it would keep my son's feet warm. But they are a pain to get on a squirmy toddler. The liner keeps getting bunched up too. Overall, I don't hate them, but I don't think I'd buy Kamiks again. I think I'll get my son some new boots too and save these for extra.

These boots are terrible! I bought a pair for my daughter and a pair for my son and they just came in from the first snowfall this season and their feet are soaked! And it’s not from snow getting in the top. The fabric material absorbs moisture like crazy.
I had to take the liner out and place both the boot and the liner on heaters overnight so they will be ready for school in the morning. I feel so bad about this purchase.

I bought toddler size 10 boots for my kid who wears size 8 or 9 shoes, figuring that would leave me enough wiggle room. Her foot did not even come close to fitting. I even tried taking out the insert and putting her foot in there first, but that was too small as well. Then we tried going sockless and still couldn't fit. I did verify that both boots have a 10 stamped on the bottom so I definitely got the size I ordered.
The boots look very high quality and I like the adjustability, but I shouldn't have to size up 3 sizes just to get the boot on my kids foot.

This boot does not keep the snow out! No matter how tightly you try to close the top of the boot, snow gets in and gets stuck between the boot and the removable lining. Also, the removable lining is stiff and uncomfortable. Sorry I bought these.

I bought these based on reviews. My three year old wore them once for first Boston (very wet) snow-soaked feet after 30 minutes! The rubber is waterproof but not the blue fabric! I am feeling very misled. They are not appropriate for toddlers. I will try to return them but my hopes are low as I bought them a while back.
