I bought these boots last fall and wore them all winter, sometimes every day (except when the snow was really deep). I love them! They hold up to miles of really serious city-walking. They're water resistant, but I wouldn't wear them in heavy rain, deep snow, or sub-zero temperatures. But they are fine for routine, inclement weather. They've held up very well, and I look forward to wearing them again this fall!

I love these boots. They are so comfortable, true to size and width, and they stretch a bit with wear. They do scuff easily, but I don't mind this as it contributes to the casual look I want them to have.

I got the Cigar brown boot. I could not be more pleased. I had been shopping for boots for well all winter. I was waiting for the Montecito boot's price to go down. I ended up getting them from another site for 1/3 or the Zappos price but I am so pleased with the boot. This boot is exponentially more supportive than most of the fashionable leather, knee-high boots that have flat rubber as the bottom. I was surprised by how shock absorbent these are. I am confident they will remain to be water proof and support my feet for years. I normally wear between an 8.5-9 and the 8.5 fit perfect.

I love this boot! It fits perfectly. I'm totally buying them in black after I return something. Highly recommend.

I'm on my feet at least 8 hrs a day- concrete floors, no less. I never thought my picky feet would stand for boots like these, but they are just fine- super cozy, in fact. I still can't believe it. At first, I was disappointed that I couldn't remove the footbed and put in a Superfeet insert, but it turns out I don't even need it. I have gotten many compliments on them as well.

Awesome boots! They are extremely comfortable and so stylish. They actually look good with jeans/pants and casual looking skirts. Ever since I had my son 2 years ago, my calves have been larger than they previously were and I have a hard time finding boots that zip to fit over my calves and these are a perfect fit! Highly recommend and I can't think of a negative thing to say about them!

I am really happy with these boots. They are very comfortable and not quite as comfy as my Teva sandals but really nice for a boot. The leather is soft and flexible, and the sole hugs your foot nicely. I am very pleased.

Very comfy. Soft interior, easy to walk in. I am a 7.5 or 8, so these run perhaps a bit big since the 7.5 fits.

Wonderful boot - I purchased these to wear for a 10 day Europe trip, complete with hiking the Alps in them. I have yet to go, but I have high hopes for these boots, very comfortable and lovely leather quality.

I love the leather in These boots, and they are so comfortable. I really am a bare foot person and usually kick off whatever is on my feet throughout the day. When I wore these the first time, at night I realized, I hadn't taken them off even once.

Sadly these boots do not fit my calves, it is too snug, I cannot stand the look of flesh being pushed in around the top of a boot. I am 5'4 and weight 130lbs, never thought I had large calves, but apparently I do! Bummer. If they had fit my calves, I'm not sure if I would have kept them as the black leather is a little too shiny for my taste.

I have only worn these boots about 5 times, and never for a long duration, so my review is a little early. However, today I noticed that the elastic band around the top has given out, there has been no stain on this feature so there is no reason for its failure. It is an unnecessary design feature to begin with so it is disappointing that it is now unsightly. Further, this raises questions about the overall quality of the boots. On the size, I am a true size 6 but from the reviews I went with a 6.5, which works out if I want to wear two layers of socks in cold weather. While I am petite, I do not have skinny legs and the calf is a little large (about an inch extra room), so if you like to wear your pants in your boots this is useful (unfortunately, I do not); however, it is true to the size noted, thus the calf size does not get smaller with smaller sized shoes.

These didn't work for me. Although the footbed was very comfortable the ankle area was WAY too tight to the point where I could barely bend my foot when I walked. They were also so tight in the lower calf and ankle area that even my skinny jeans had too much fabric and I couldn't zip them up. I'm 5 2 and 115 lbs. and have never had a problem with my ankles being too big with any boots before. I read other reviews that said they'll stretch out with wear, but I can't even tuck my pants in to wear them and I don't think they really look right with dresses and tights. I also considered trying them in the next size up, but I think they would be way too long in the footbed. In the end, these are going back, although it's too bad because I did like the style (in theory) and I love Teva shoes and sandals in general!

These books are great! I love the mid calf height; it's a nice change from knee high boots. They are super comfy. You could walk all day in them. I have them in the brown, and I love them!

I had to exchange a 7.5 for an 8, they were stiff in the heel making it hard to put on but I think the larger size will be fine. I have wide feet but usually order m width but I felt like these were pretty narrow, especially with thick socks. Beautiful soft leather outside (I got cigar). These fit nice and snug around my calf (5'2, 115lbs). My jeans just fit inside. Very comfortable! Ive been searching for the perfect boot and these are it!

These are by far the most comfortable, true to size and soft boots I have ever owned!

Fantastic boot. Well made, and still offers great arch support and comfortable after wearing over a year.

It's day 2 of wearing these boots. I have received many compliments and even a "your legs look really long" remark, considering I am not even 5'! I usually wear a 5.5 or 6, so I bought the 5.5 (in cigar) given reviews that these boots run large. My small feet fit them well with thin socks, but one of my pinky toes has been rubbing the edges today. I do expect to break the boots in soon and encounter less toe rubbing. The weather's been mid 30 degrees F, and my feet are doing fine in thin socks and these boots. I wore them with leggings yesterday and skinny jeans today. Both styles look good, as compliments can attest, and hold up in cold weather. The boots do scuff up easily, but as another reviewer said, it just adds to the classic, vintage, riding boot look. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Really comfortable lightweight boots. I love them and get lots of complements. It works for my 'athletic' calves. I added an insole to provide more support. They are not warm winter boots.

These served me well in snowy weather. They still look great, and the fit is comfortable.

Super comfortable shoe, and love the sole/heel look...very organic and different from the typical boot. Not hugely warm for snow, but good for regular work/around town days.

Have had this boot for about a year. Loved it from the start, great style, color and amazing comfort all day. Disappointed now because the sole is separating from the cork, making them look a little tattered and a tripping hazard. Was considering buying the black suede prior to this problem.

I love these boots! I ordered them a 1/2 size bigger than I normally wear and I'm glad I did! I would certainly recommend this boot!

They didn't work for me in size, so I have to send them back :-( For me, the boot is wide in the heel and has too much room around the ankle, so it doesn't stay with my foot when I walk. They're beautiful, and I wished they fit.
