Had no idea that "original" meant "no arch support", and there was a flat sole inside the shoe. Not what I expected from Clarks. Runs a half size small also. Returning.

I've been wearing Clark's Desert Boots for 40 years. I was excited to purchase this pair of "originals." Sadly, they don't fit like the originals of old. The back of the boot was way too high and dug into the back of my leg. I could barely walk a few steps across my dining room floor! Sadly, they are going back.

I really wanted a black suede desert type boot. I have always liked Clark brand shoe wear as it normally is very comfortable. This boot was very tight across the top of my foot. I have bunions, and the boot immediately hurt as soon as I put it on. I was very disappointed as I loved the styling and the suede material. I am returning them.

I spend some time saving for these shoes, and when I finally got them, they are not comfortable, I was not expecting this from a pair of Clarks.

THe length and width of the boot seemed to be fine. But the arch of the boot was cut so low, I couldn't get my feet into it. I unlaced it completely, but still couldn't get my foot in. I have to return them. So disappointed, as I love Clarks.

This boot is the only Clark shoe I have ever put on that was uncomfortable. The leather was stiff and hard and the back cut into the back of my leg. It was painful for the 30 seconds I tried it on. Beautiful design, but terrible to wear. Returned it immediately.

Very uncomfortable shoes. And soles are weird.

Literally unwearable. I don't know if the problem was the size of my foot, the size of my ankles, my non-existent arches, or what, but I actually could not get this boot on my foot no matter how hard I tried. The sole was incredibly stiff, the leather was incredibly stiff, and there was no give in any of it. Given how hard it was to get on, I can't imagine that it would have been comfortable in the long run regardless. Very disappointed.

I ended up ordering 2 different pairs. One pair felt very snug and a little uncomfortable, the second pair was great. If you like them I would suggest trying more than one pair

Had to order a half-size up. My usual size felt short and super tight across the ball of my foot and was even hard to get on. Like the look and the materials.

Follow the Clark's size chart! I usually wear a 7 and ordered an 8.5, based on the size chart, and they fit well. If I ordered my typical size, they would be far too small.

Great fit to start with; true to size. The leather is a tad stiff to start, I need a couple more wears before it probably gets a bit softer. But overall the style and fit are great!

Have wanted a pair of these for years, because they are so hippy 70s! After ordering, I wasn't disappointed at all. Love the rich color, fit, and look of them. They work with skirts or jeans. I love so much, I ordered the black ones too! Super cool!

This is one cool bootie! There is some required "break in" time, but worth it for the style and comfort. I own the beeswax leather and the oak suede and love them both.

Great fit and gorgeous style- they really take a minute to break in though! Gave me brutal blisters the first time I wore them- but if you break them in slowly and with thick socks you'll be good to go in a few wears and then they are super comfy!

Have been lokking for this style for a long time. Love the style but my very high arch made putting on the boot impossible and they will be returned. So sad.

These fit great and are super comfortable for walking around in. Over time the beeswax coating does wear off a bit and can get scratched, but you can add more to get them looking good again (they look good worn in as well).

I love the look of these shoes. Unfortunately, I have a high arch. When I wore these shoes the tongue of the shoe bent in the wrong spot on the top of my feet and they hurt. I think it is just my feet. Bummer for me.

I love the style, the quality of the craftsmanship. The toe box is a bit narrow. I do have wide feet, however. Otherwise, it is a fabulous “go to” shoe for a little extra dress above tennis shoes, as they feel like tennies, but look dressy casual.

These boots are everything I hoped they would be . I was worried that they would look big and clunky because I have a large foot, but it turns out they look really great. The leather is very soft and even though they have no arch support they seemed very comfortable. They are a bit narrower than I’m used to, but I usually wear Keens and because the leather is soft it’s not been a problem. Highly recommend them!

I like the way Clark Desert Boots look and will have a pair as long as they are made. I know my boots will need arch support and they will not be wide enough for my wide foot and I will have to buy a 7 to 7.5 where I usually wear a 6.5.

I love these shoes! Yes, they’re stiff at first but loosen up during first wear. And if you have a wide foot, definitely order a half size larger. These fit me perfectly but I have a really narrow foot and never find shoes that fit this well. I was concerned about not being ‘trendy’ but it turns out I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on them and I’ve only worn them twice. :)

Absolute cutest booties! Just perfect!

I love them!! I was a little concerned at first because they felt really stiff, but after 15ish mins they felt a lot better. they still need a little work breaking in, and I got a blister on my heel, but I feel like that’s normal depending on the shoe. Overall I LOVE them.

These are simply stunning boots but very tight on arrival. I am going to give them a chance based on the reviews that talk about the time it takes to break them in. I have small bunions and a wider foot. I always buy a half size up because of that. These are still very tight. But stunning. I hope I can make them work.
