Best walking shoe in 64 years! I'm not given to exaggeration. This is actually the most comfortable, supportive shoe I have ever found for my often painful 64 year old feet. Innersole is removable to allow orthotics, but is actually more comfortable than my orthotics so I am wearing as they came. The feel is soft and bouncy; I actually have a spring to my step when wearing these. Much more attractive than athletics or orthopedic-style walkers. They have a sporty look, rather like a low boot. I just ordered another pair in dark brown; If Clark's would make them in a natural or tan leather I would get those as well.

Cool and so comfortable - I bought both the brown and black pair as I really like the style. What a wonderful surprise. I wore the brown ones on Thursday and the black ones on Friday. No breaking in, just comfort. I always wear orthotics due to bad plantar fasciitis. I did not wear them on either day with no problems. But, the inserts do come out and orthotics can be worn with these shoes. Size is just right for me. I run anywhere between a 10-10 1/2. Clarks usually fit me but I am a large size 10. Not all size 10's fit. I'd say if in doubt, go down a size. I ordered these at work on Tuesday and wore them to work on Thursday. Zappos you are great.

Hard to fit - my first pair of Clark brand shoes. Would prefer a slightly higher heel, but the shoes are very comfortable to wear, and I will buy Clark brand shoes again.

Really well made attractive shoe but inside heel was too large for my foot. Never had that problem before. Plus I didn't like the way it looked on my foot.

These are very nice shoes in the category of "almost, but not quite, perfect." They provide nice support, have nice soft edges around the ankle area, and an adjustable Velcro closing. I bought them to be choir shoes - I sing with a symphonic choir, and we must stand for long periods - I deliberately bought the wide width. I am returning them with regret. The toe box is cut for people with a diagonal sloped or rounded set of toes, not squarish, like mine. If my ring toe was a little shorter, they would have been perfect.

Really nice, stylish walking shoe that I can wear both on a walk or to go out to dinner. I found the arch support too high, so I replaced the soles with ones I bought. I am very hard to fit, so I am really happy to have found these shoes. I wish Zappos offered more of a selection in double wide shoes.

Loved the cool and comfortable looks. Sending back because I like to wear padded socks and the toe area made them too narrow and cramped.

These shoes are comfortable, but I didn't realize the straps were Velcro. I thought it was part of the design and they were just slip ons.

I purchased these shoes to wear with my orthotics. I purchased a size up and a wide width because they did not have a regular width. Overall the show is comfortable but a bit too wide. Shoe looks and feels fine.

Very comfortable around the heel and ankle and very nice arch support, but too narrow in the toe box for my duck feet (wide at the ball of the foot narrow at the heel). Also did not close very well over a high instep. Is a shame because the back and bottom of my foot thought they were very comfy and would be great for walking.

To touch, I noticed immediately how supple and soft the leather was. It fit my foot like a glove except I don't feel any support on the arch. Looks casual, not elegant. Excellent flexible sole and non-slippery on tile or wooden floors. I will enjoy wearing them to work.

I really like these shoes; however, I do have one negative comment. I stand 8 hours a day, and since the shoe is rather pointed, my toes are 'squeezed'. I have a medium width. I tried a wide width, but they are much too wide. I've had these shoes for around a month and do not feel they have stretched any. On the positive side, the leather is 'buttery' and the support is good. Great shoe, but I'd probably not buy again due to the 'pointed' toe.

These are smart looking walking shoes, but sadly didn't work for me. I usually wear an 8.5 or 9, but even the 9 was too small. I may try the 9.5, but I think it will probably be too narrow for me. I usually just wear a medium width, but these seem designed for a narrow foot. I'm looking for a good walking shoe for Europe that doesn't look too much like a sneaker and had great hopes for this one.

Very comfortable walking shoe. I bought a narrow size, and it was a little too wide. Overall, I am very pleased.I can walk in these all day and at the end of the day, my feet feel good.

I'm hoping these will stretch out because they feel quite narrow. The adjustability is a good feature although it doesn't help the width. The appearance is quite nice for a "sturdy" shoe. The Clarks I had before were much roomier.

Very comfortable and looks good with slacks or jeans. Leather is soft without lacking support. Color goes with lots. Wish the velcro tab stretched so it could be tightened easier. Overall a nice comfortable shoe.
