I purchased The Dansko Soltice and received them in a few days. They were in perfect condition. I normally wear a 6-6 1/2. I bought the 5 1/2-6. I wore bandaids for several days and used a leather softener. They now fit like a glove.If you want looser I would go the next size up. I am no longer exhausted after work. They are so comfortable. They have a great arch, something every other pair(many) I purchased did not have.

I bought these shoes because I've been trying to replace my old size 35 Dansko professionals, which seem to now be manufactured to a size larger than in the past. This style is true to the old size 35's and actually fit my tiny feet.

The Solstice is a great shoe. The style is slightly different than the Dansko Professional and it has a lighter-weight sole. I bought it in cordovan because the color goes with everything. I have a big (women's 11) and wide foot, high arches, and a high instep. I believe Dansko, in general, runs small because the 42s never fit. 43 fit perfect on the foot bed-which felt great. They are supposed to be loose in the heel, making you feel like you’re stepping out of them when you walk, which is exactly how the 43 fit on me. Arch support is awesome!!! I’d tried the professional clog first but, because of my high instep, the shoe’s padded instep was too tight across the top of my foot and made my toes tingle. The Dansko representative I spoke to agreed it was too tight saying the foot shouldn’t tingle. She suggested the Phoebe because it has elastic insets and doesn’t have the padded instep making more room and give for my foot. Tried it but it was also snug (but not as much as the Professional) across the top of my foot. I then decided to try the Solstice because it also had elastic insets. I’m glad I did. It fits awesome! I love love love this shoe!!!

This shoe is very comfortable and I have had many comments on the style. This is something that goes from work to out on the town without looking like a work shoe. Very comfortable. I trade between these and the professionals and love them both.

Wow! I ordered these shoes yesterday, went with the free shipping, and they got here today! How awesome is Zappos? And these shoes are adorable. They will need a little breaking in, as all Danskos do, but really they will be great for work. Yay!

I love this shoe. I work in health care and am on my feet all day, but still need to wear professional clothing. I can walk and stand all day and never have sore feet or tired legs with my Dansko's.

As a first time buyer, I had heard only positive feedback about Zappos. After ordering my Dansko Solstice clogs, I must absolutely confirm that feedback. The shoes were the perfect size, fit, color...all that good stuff. Plus, the shoes arrived within a day. The Solstice clogs were true to size and have a more streamlined shape,compared to the Professional style. The Cordovan color is the "new black" and provides a little "wow" factor, instead of the same old black or brown. I love these clogs and love Zappos outstanding customer service!

I really like these shoes. They fit well, support my rather high arches, and look really nice.

Really like this clog. Light and easy to wear. Fit is a little snug over top of foot. Different feel to the clog then the Professional. Would recommend this shoe and the great service from Zappos.

Super cute clog, and, by my opinion, even more comfortable than original Danskos, if it were possible. The padding is a little thicker, there is a small elastic band over the bridge for a snugger fit, and they're a bit more slim cut, which is perfect if you have a narrow foot. The modified heel shape is flattering too, and looks nice with trousers.

I bought these to replace a pair of the standard Professional Dansko clogs, which I love. I tried these instead because they're a little lighter and a little cuter. Comfort: I'm on my feet all day at work, so comfort is super important to me. These shoes are almost, but not quite, as comfortable as the standard clogs. Just a little less support, and some irritation where the top of the clog hits the top of your foot if you aren't wearing thicker socks. These clogs definitely are lighter, which is nice at the end of the day. Size: I had to go up a full size from my usual Dansko size, but they fit perfectly now (easy exchange by Zappos, of course). The fit is more narrow than the standard clogs. Look: I love the blue color! They scuff fairly easily, so be prepared for that, but most stuff wipes off easily. The toe is definitely more flattering, and they have a cute button and seam to add interest. Overall: After a month of almost daily wear, I'm really happy with them.

I am on my feet up to 12 hrs per day and this is the most comfortable shoe ever. It is lightweight and provides excellent arch support. No knee or hip pain after wearing this shoe. Looks great with pants, I have worn the Marcelle clog in the past which is comfortable but a little heavy and a bit bulky. The Solstice wins hands down for comfort and looks. I purchased the navy for a little color kick and it works with everything. It took a long time for me to go down this road, but after years of excruciating back, knee and hip pain, I'm only 45. I bit the bullet and said clogs will be my ugly shoe of choice. I was a trendy lass and comfort shoes were not in my vernacular. I have managed to make them work with my work attire and me and my body are very happy I did.

Dansko makes very comfortable shoes. The Solstice is very cushioned, and very comfortable to wear every day. My other pair of Dansko's are a 37, but I had to order a 38 in this pair since it seemed to run a bit smaller. Overall, I would recommend these shoes to all my friends.

I am very pleased with these shoes. Comfort is very important to me and have had great luck with Dansko shoes, arch support is great and for me they are true to size.

WONDERFUL SHOES! I thought I loved Dansko when I only owned the Professional Clog, but when the dog chewed those up, I replaced them with the Solstice and WOW! I am so impressed, love the fit and the look of the shoe, comfortable as always, and even more so than the Professional. Has very small non-visible piece of elastic at the upper to give it a little "give" when you have been on your feet all day and don’t need a tightness over the top of your foot. Love this shoe, will buy one in every color!

Great shoes, and a little more fashionable than the standard "professional" clog style, in my opinion. I like the brushed red color and think it is very versatile. I am typically a perfect 9.5, and I have a hard time with european sizes. I ordered a 40 and my toes are at the end of the shoe. I've tried 41 before and they are way too big. These haven't stretched significantly after several wearings. They are very comfortable, but not roomy.

I ordered these in the afternoon and received them by 5pm the next day!! I wear an 8.5 and have a wide foot, I ordered a 39 and they fit well. When I first tried them on I had to force my foot in but I read that it takes a while to break these shoes in so I wore them around the house for a couple of days before trying them at work. I have only had them for a couple of weeks and love them!! They fit great and my feet do not hurt after a full day on my feet! They look great too!

These are very attractive shoes with that wonderful Dansko footbed. Unfortunately, they fit my foot like a glove- not in a good way. I have a high instep (deep foot?) and these just don't allow enough room.Guess I will have to stick with Dansko sandals and Mary Janes.

These are my first Dansko shoes and the fit and comfort are great. They aren't very hip, but work well with jeans and causal work days where I might have to go outside. If you have a high instep you might have a bit of a squeeze to get your foot into the shoe. The leather is easy to dust or wipe off, nice..

I'm in love with the shoes. I have several other pairs of Dansko clogs, but I like these the best. They are super light and comfortable.

First want to say that Zappos is wonderful. I have a large foot and so glad to be able to find shoes through them. Wish Dansko would make all their shoes up through 43. I have many pair of Danskos they are so comfortable; they usually run a bit small. This particular shoe pinched my toes and rubbed my heel; had to break them in. This is the first time since the Cabrio that I had to do that. The look of these is great. I got the black, which look great with jeans. I am also thankful for all the people who write reviews; they really help me to decide which pair will fit the best for me, and Zappos for their great return policy and their speed and free shipping. I work retail on a hard tiled floor (set on concrete) and I tried wearing flats and heels to work for 2 months before I realized I was seriously damaging my feet. I also was in agony every day, my feet as well as my legs and back, due to standing all day. After half of my co-workers raved about their Dansko's I took the plunge (I don't normally spend this much on shoes so I thought about it for a long time). I actually went to Nordstroms first to try to them on to see which size fit me best (the person said to go a little bigger; I'm 8.5 and she said to wear a 9) and then I came home and picked out the style I liked best on Zappos. I did have to get used to walking in them; your feet move a little more than other shoes, but there really was no "breaking in" time needed. My feet are still a bit sore at the end of the day, but I'm no longer in agony the way I was before. If you're on your feet all day for work, you need Danskos!

It is hard to find a more comfortable shoe than Dansko. I have bunions and a high arch, this shoe is great for both. More comfortable than my new balance walking shoes!

These are incredibly comfortable and look nice, too! This is my first pair of Dansko shoes and I'm a huge fan! They are so very comfortable and the sizing was perfect. Some of the other styles didn't fit quite right, but these were perfect. I have a little bit of a wider foot and these were perfectly comfortable the minute I put them on.

I am a medical student so I wanted shoes that would give me good support as I ran the stairs, hallways and after my attending. I also wanted something that would look good with slacks as well as with scrubs. This shoe was the perfect fit! I got it in the "wine" color because I felt it would go best with all colors. They feel great! I would advise that you get the shoe a size bigger than you normally would get. I am a size 7. So I initially ordered a 37, but I had to exchange it for a 38 because my big toe hit the front of the shoe. The 38 fit perfect. I wear them with regular socks and my foot dances a bit in them, but it works great for me. By the way, the lady who helped me exchange my shoe for a larger size was very good. I received my new pair the next day with the return label for the old pair. Great service! Great shoe! Great discount!
