My first pair of Danskos lasted for three years of consistent hospital use, so I had high hope for this pair. Unfortunately, they aren't the same leather as normal Danskos after only a few weeks of wearing them they started to develop very noticeable scuff marks that are difficult to cover up. Then after having the shoes only a couple months one of the buttons popped off.

The material on this shoe is not the same as other Dansko's. It easily scuffs (I have a black pair)and they became ugly quickly. Thankfully my black Sharpie marker covered the scuff marks well. However, today the button popped off with no hope of repair. Very disappointed in this shoe - I have never had a bad pair of Dansko's with the exception of this shoe.

Not a great shoe, buttons will fall off. Zappos was amazing about returning the shoes.

The style of these shoes is cute, but they look and feel extremely cheap. They are comfortable for standing as long as you don't move at all. When you walk, they are stiff like wooden soled shoes. I live in NYC and walk a lot, so I returned these and ordered a pair of Sanita's which I hope will be more comfortable. I will never order Dansko again.

I bought these because they were narrower and a bit less clunky than the classics. The toe scuffed immediately, and the surface wouldn't accept polish, so they looked bad almost from day one. The side decorative button fell off, too. I'd always had good luck and long wear with Dansko, and these were a big disappointment.

Well. This was my third Dansko shoe. I had owned two pairs of Dansko professional, which I wore them for ages before they started to look really old. This one is looking awful after only a few months. A lot of scratches on the leather, a lot of cracks, one of the buttons fell. Spending this price, you expect a quality item. This is not a durable shoe.

While these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned, right out of the box, and I find them very versatile, I would not recommend that others purchase them. The leather is extremely fragile. I have had the shoes for about 1 month, and the leather looks more beat up already than the leather on the 2 year old pair of Clarks clogs/slides that I wanted to replace with these shoes. I have not done anything unusual--I've worn them to work, to restaurants and to walk on sidewalks. They already have a deep gouge, several deep scratches and many scuffs. I was not aware of when any of this happened--I have done nothing unusual while wearing these shoes. Now I am paranoid about letting my feet bump up against ANYTHING while I am wearing these inexplicably fragile shoes. This is my first pair of Danksos, and will be my last. I don't expect to spend this much for a pair of shoes and have them be made of inferior materials.

Beware! As with some other reviewers, the button popped off after a couple weeks of normal wear. The finish on the toe scuffed after about a week, and though I polished the shoe, it faded to gray again after a day's wear. I wore them pretty gently, just to work and back, and they shouldn't look this way. I am surprised at the low quality of these shoes, and suggest you look for another style! Fit on this is a bit narrower than usual - took a little time to break in, but was fine. Zappos' customer service is stellar as usual; they're taking these back with free shipping. I'll be buying from here again, just might be looking at other brands for a while.

Do not buy this shoe. I bought these from a store, not Zappos like I usually do. The button snapped off and was lost. I could not repair it. I will be leery of anything Dansko puts out from now on and this was my 4th pair of Danskos.

There is something amiss with the conversion of the European to US sizes. I ordered the 43, which is listed as a 12.5/13 women's US size, and these were at least a size too small. I know that I normally wear a 12-12.5, so these should have been well within the right range for me according to the listed size. I have had this problem with Danskos in the past as well. I really don't recommend ordering these online, because of the serious sizing issue. I had to return them and Zappos was fabulous about the return, but what a hassle!

Worst danskos ever! These are the first Danskos I've ever had problems with. They gave me blisters on both heels and on the toes on my right foot. There is a ridge at the back of the shoe that was extremely irritating to my foot.
