I found these Solstice clogs slightly snug at first, but they broke in well and are my new favorites. No blisters! Very helpful for my Plantar fasciitis condition, too. Love the color (saddle).

More narrow than the "Professional" model, but lightweight. I've had to break them in slowly in order to avoid pressure sores, but I'm confident we'll get there eventually.

Excellent nursing shoe. I am literally on my feet from 6am-9pm. No pain from charlie horses, leg spasms, heel spurs or shin splints yet!

Very comfortable and a good heel height. I needed something a little more grown up (I'm 29) than my Mary Jane style Dr. Martens to wear to work I have worn for 10+ years, so I went with these. The only thing I don't particularly like is the sound they make when I walk. It definitely sounds like I'm walking in clogs, but I am already getting over that sound. The toe box has plenty of room. The heel slips slightly, but I think they are supposed to fit that way. Overall, I really like them and I am enjoying wearing them to work. I am normally anywhere from a 7-8 and I went with the 7.5-8 and they are perfect.

I had my doubts. I don't normally buy shoes online. I teach and am on my feet all day. These shoes are amazing! They are the most comfortable shoes I own and would wear them every day. There is plenty of room in the toe, the arch support is comfortable, and the walking comfort is unparalleled.

The arch support in these shoes is so comfortable! Unfortunately, they run very small. I've always been a 37 in Dansko but in this size my toes rub on the front.

This line from Dansko is the best so far. Dressy enough to wear to work, yet casual enough for jeans. No break in...I am in sales and walk on granite floors all day. I have purchased 6 pair in this line (Mary Janes and clogs and all are just as comfortable). I highly recommend these!

My 10 year old Danskos finally fell apart. I could not go more than a week without replacing them. I live in the city and walk or ride a bike everywhere I go. These shoes are comfortable for long walks, getting around the city, and running after my kids. One draw back is they scuff easy. I keep polish on hand to touch them up.

Pretty cool but a little plain. I am a PT so these are my work shoes. They are pretty comfy but a bit hard on hospital floors.

This shoe is very comfortable, but it does not fit the same as the Dansko Professional. The Solstice is a more foot-conforming shoe. The heel does not move as freely, and the shoe is narrower. I like the shoe, and the appearance, due to the fit, is much trimmer and a bit more streamlined. I find it a good supplement to my Dansko professional shoe, but does not replace it! I still like the Professional for overall comfort and support. The arch support is not quite as pronounced as the professional style. Overall, this is a bit more stylish, and a bit less comfortable, but a fair trade-off.

Love this shoe! I have it in black also. The fit seems to be slightly narrower than other Dansko's, and the arch support is definitely better. I can wear them all day, standing and walking. The other Dansko style that fits this way, but is a little more casual -- and heavier -- is the Phoebe, which I also have in both brown and black.

I was looking for a higher shoe/clog for longer pants. This one looked sufficiently stylish and turned out to be very comfortable.

Stylish and light! I'm wearing these due to stress fractures on my foot and they offer great support - I can walk without pain. Hope you like them, too.

Great shoes. Leather seems less rigid than professional style I had before. Comfortable from day 1 and even adjusted to my bunion! A pleasure to wear and walk in, absorbs shock, great support. Waterproof these before wearing and not as rugged as professional style.

Excellent shoe! I needed to go up a size for comfort. Stylish, professional and can be dressed up or down.

Here is my review. First, trust in Zappos. They exceeded my wildest expectations. I will not purchase from a retail store again if I can help it. It was much easier for me to receive the shoe delivery, and just as easy to return them when I needed a different size...at no charge! The amount of time I spend shopping around for shoes and going to specialty shoes shops is now going to be eliminated. Yeah. Thank you Zappos. Now, about the shoes...I am a cosmetologist, on my feet all day on slate flooring, and as cute as the Dansko Solstice is, the Professional Clog is built differently and gives me better shock absorption. I am a demanding consumer, and this is my opinion. Shop Zappos.

This is my 4th pair of Danskos and I love them. They feel wonderful from the start.

Shoes were a little tight. Didn't want to get them too big since they are leather and would stretch with wear. Had a miserable day on the job first time I wore these shoes (RN in hospital). Coworkers agreed it took awhile to break theirs in. Shoe expanders were a great help, left them in overnight. Wore them next day with no problem.

My absolute favorite pair of shoes that I own. I have had these for almost a year now and wear them every day (although I did just purchase a new pair of Dansko sandals this past weekend). I work on my feet all day, and I have flat, wide feet. I usually wear these with pants and so you only see the front tip of them, so it looks good. I don't think I will ever buy another brand other than Danskos for when I plan on being on my feet for long periods of time. I highly recommend this shoe.

The only brand of shoe for which I am an unapologetic evangelist! The Solstice is a slightly less chunky looking clog, and as such fits a bit closer to the foot than the traditional Dansko. Still true to size, width, support. These are the most comfortable shoes in the world and I love their boot-like profile, vertical lift from the platform, and perfect footbed.

I love these shoes! My old black Dansko\'s (Sienna) had worn out much faster than I expected...but they are so comfortable that I keep coming back. I bought these and they are stiffer than the Sienna\'s and the back is very stiff but that makes them more stable and wearing much better. I also think they look very good with dressy casual clothing. And they have the same comfort that I expect from Dansko.

I love these shoes! I've worn them one day so far and I can already tell they'll be my go-to shoes for casual days at work. They are very comfortable and much less clunky looking and more feminine than my Dansko Professional clogs. I still remember the day I went to meet with my daughter's surgeon and looked down and we were both wearing the same shoes (Dansko Professional clogs), he's male and I'm female. These Solstice aren't unisex looking and are just as comfortable. They're a little bit lighter and a tad more fitted. They run fairly true to size, maybe a bit small. I usually wear 9 1/2, I wear 41 in the Professionals and 40 in these shoes. I got the brush-off black and I might have to buy another pair in the cordovon.

I love Dansko. This is one brand that I can wear for many hours without fatigue. I like this particular style shoe because it is slimmer, and less clunky looking than Dansko's trademark clog. The blue color is great for wearing with jeans. The only problem I had with these: the button fell off of one of the shoes. I exchanged for the same pair and don't anticipate having the same problem again.

I read many reviews before purchasing. I was concerned about too narrow, but I liked the style. They were a little snug (more so on top of my foot) at first, but they broke in nicely. They feel great after 4 months of wearing daily. The only time my socks slouch is when I climb steep hills, otherwise that is not a problem either.

Being from Vermont, we all have to wear Danskos, and these are fabulous. They are a little dressier and less clunky looking than the traditional clogs, but have great support. I have plantar fasciitis and these keep my feet stable and supported all day. They felt true to size. Really comfortable and beautiful shoe.
