As far as comfort, I like these better than the professionals. The bad thing is that the button fell off within a month. These shoes are way too expensive to fall apart. That is very dissapointing. If not for the button problem, they would have been my favorite Danskos.

I have had plantar fasciitis in the past, so I am very careful about the shoes I buy. Danskos generally are great. I have the professional clog, but this shoe fits tighter and feels lighter on the foot and looks a little less bulky. That's all good. I've had no problems at all, and it's a stylish shoe to wear with slacks to work.

My first pair of Dansko...love them...they are pricey but worth it. I have a back injury and usually have to wear flats. This pair has a slight and I was worried about my back, but no trouble at all. Will come back for another pair at some point soon.

Love this shoe. Have it in black and brown for a go-to comfortable but slight heel work shoe.

These are the most comfortable pair of shoes ever. I thought they were a little tight when I first put them on, but within seconds they fit like a glove and gave me the support I needed. And they're so cute! I love them!

Finally! A Dansko shoe that fits women with narrow or thin feet! I have tried many Dansko shoes through the years, and this is the first one I've found that fit me. I'm finally experiencing the comfort I've heard about for years. Based on my experience, if you love the way your Professionals fit, then don't buy "Solstice." They will not fit you right.

Love these shoes! They are a great basic to have. Dansko shoes are worth the money. I never have back or knee issues when I wear these shoes as I do with others. If you work in a job where you are on your feet most of the day, Dasnko are the shoes you will want to have!

I wear a 5½W which is nearly impossible to find, but these shoes fit perfectly in a size 35. They are extremely comfortable, even though I have a bunion, and I can wear them all day and remain comfortable. They took about an hour of wear before they molded to my foot. I normally find it very hard to find comfortable shoes, but I love these and would highly recommend them! They are stylish and look great with dress pants or jeans.

I really, really wanted these shoes to fit! I have a narrow foot and just hoped with the high fit that they would work, not! Sorry to send them back.

I have worn a few pairs of the basic Danskos and loved them. These have a bit more padding and are a little prettier, but just as supremely comfortable.

I have a pair of professionals, and the fit of these is very similar for my size 41 foot. Look is less clunky and sleeker. I used matching shoe polish out of the box to protect the leather and hopefully minimize the scratches. Love love love my new favorite shoes!

The Dansko Solstice is the only Dansko model I've found to be comfortable to wear all day. The fit is true to size and the style looks great with slacks or jeans.

I love this shoe, can wear all day on concrete with 12 hour shift and no pain. my first Dansko but have already ordered more. just have to order several sizes to find the right fit. seems like dansko doesn't stick with the same size for different styles, but you don't need to sorry with zappos.

I find these more comfortable than the traditional Dansko style. They have a little elastic on the top and side that give them more give. It's nice after a 12 hour shift and your feet are a little swollen!

I love this shoe! So much so I bought it in 2 colors. Perfect arch support for my high arch/instep. Previously I had a pair of professional clogs I wore to death. The clogs lasted at least 8 years. I bought a new pair of Professional clogs, the break in period is hard. Not with the Solstice, they are easier to break in and very comfortable for being on my feet for 8 plus hours. One word of warning. On each pair of shoes, the button has come off causing a trip to the shoe repair. I am waiting for the Dansko 'summer' shoe to come out in burgundy and I am buying it. Very good shoe and more flexible than the Professional clog.

I had this style in brown and looking for the same style in black. Voila, found them online at Zappos; arrived promptly, flawless condition, and fit perfectly.

I'm a huge fan of Dansko shoes. I'm slowly making my entire shoe wardrobe nothing but Dansko. I stand a lot for my work and ever since I started wearing Dansko's I have no foot fatigue or lower back pain. Dansko's are true to size, so once you know your size, it's completely safe to order from Zappos. There will be no surprises. My only wish is that some of the slip-on sandals came with more adjustments because the leather can stretch just a bit and then the shoes are too big.

These were my first pair of Danskos and I love them! They're a little less bulky than their Professional clog which is great! Would definitely recommend them for anyone who is on their feet for most of the day.

My orthopedic doctor recommended this brand, and I LOVE them! They are so comfortable! I have the rubber-toed tennis shoes in this brand and I love them, too! Expensive, but worth it!

I love these shoes! Much more stylish than the plain unisex clogs. Very comfortable. Great color that goes with everything. Order half size bigger than usual. My only slight complaint about this brand is I tend to somehow get scratches near the big toes from them rubbing together, but perhaps that's just the way I walk.
