I love these shoes. They were immediately very comfortable to wear with no break in time. I am considering getting another pair in a different color. They were more than I usually spend on a pair of shoes, but I think they were worth the money spent.

very comfortable and durable. I bought them in 2011, and I still wear them now. They look cute and dressy enough. Yes, they do run large, I normally wear an 8.5, but I'm a size 8 with these.

I love French Sole Passport shoes, I have three pairs and they are comfortable right out of the box. I find them true to size for me. I wear a size 7 1/2. Some wrote they think they run a half a size large but not for me. I weigh 110 lbs and I don't have large feet however my feet are a little wide and these shoes are the most comfortable stylish shoes I've ever worn I love them! I could walk all day without tired or sore feet.

These are very nice shoes. Following other reviews, I ordered a size 9 instead of my usual 9.5, and the length is perfect. I have slightly narrow feet, and the shoe is a medium width. However, it does not slip at all on my heel and fits snugly but not uncomfortably so on the entire foot. I want to be able to wear these walking around in Europe, so am a little concerned about the narrowness in the toes and what happens when feet swell a bit as the day goes on. The sole is rubberized and very comfortably flexible. I'm wearing around the house to try to make sure they are well broken in by next week when I leave. But I'd say so far, a good choice.

Looking for comfort and style in a ballet flat and the French Sole Passport filled the bill! I have a number of pairs of the FS Sloop style in different colors which I love, but Passport has a real sole and a bit of a heel, more padding overall so nice for longer wear and walking. More dressy too. A great pair of shoes!

This is my second pair of French Sole Passport. They are extremely comfortable and very stylish. By a half size smaller as they run big. I normally wear an 8.5 and bought an 8 after reading the reviews.

I just love these shoes but hey are a whole size too large. I first ordered the 6 1/2 (my usual size) had to return and now ordered the 6 and they are still too big. I'm sorry bit I need to go to another site to get a 5 1/2. Still would recommend but really go with a smaller size.

This is my first time trying the brand French Sole. They seem to run large. I'm usually a 6.5 to 7 and ordered 6.5. Need to return and get a 6. Love the color! Perfect shade for what I needed. A nice deep dark navy....so hard to find.

I love these shoes, but because I am a narrow, I should have ordered a full size lower and not a half size lower. Returning for the next half size down because these are keepers.

I love these shoes! They are unbelievably comfortable, and look good with either pants or a dress.

I love FSNY shoes! This is one of my favorite styles, and very comfortable. However...they tend to run 1/2 too large. I am usually a size 9 1/2M but in this style I order a size 9 and they fit just fine. This shoe is a Classic that goes with everything from jeans to skirts!

Very comfortable ballet flat. I did order a half size down based on other reviews and the size is perfect. Very pleased with the purchase and excellent Zappos' customer service of course.

These shoes are quite cute and comfortable. Unfortunately, it was impossible to keep the tie on the front of shoes looking tidy.

The shoe is beautiful, but the top of the toe box was scraping the top of my toes - very quickly uncomfortable.

I purchased those ballet shoes in 8 and they were way too big, as most reviewers pointed out. My feet come off the shoes when I walk! I re-ordered them in 7.5 thinking that they should fit perfectly. I was very disappointed to find out that this time, they are way too small. I am a true size 8 and I have a pair of Jasmine ballet shoes from French Sole in size 8 that fit perfectly. It's very disappointing because those shoes look beautiful, have a nice padding inside and are soft and flexible overall. They would have been great as everyday pretty ballet shoes for work or running errands in the city.

I am writing this review because I found in the past that the sizes seemed a little small so I ordered an 8 1/2 instead of an eight and it was way too big. So I ordered the eight, my usual size, and it was too big so I ordered the 7 1/2 and have kept them. It’s a beautiful shoe and very comfortable when you get the right fit.

These are at least a half size too big from my true size. Unfortunately the brand does not make a size 10.5 shoe. If you have a wider foot, this will work well.

Should have paid more attention to reviews about the sizing of this shoe. Ordered 8.5, which is my true size but it was one size bigger than a 'normal' 8.5. Bethesda

I listened to the previous reviewers and went a half size down and the fit is perfect. I was pleasantly surprised to feel the padding in the footbed - most ballet style flats are hard bottomed. I am struggling with justifying the price.

I’m confused about the reviews saying to size down. I am a 7 1/2 neither wide nor narrow and the 7’s were WAY too tight. The 7 1/2’s are still tight. Mostly too narrow. Zappos did not have the 8’s to compare but would probably be too long. I love the style. Hopefully the 7 1/2 will stretch with wear. The leather is very soft so even though they are tight, they are not cutting into my skin. Still on the fence but don’t want to wear if I’m going to return them. But in my opinion, they run very narrow.

These just might be the most comfortable shoes I've ever put on right out of the box. I usually wear either an 8 or 8-1/2 (sometimes a 9!) so I ordered the 8 and it fit perfectly with enough room for a thin insole. I haven't decided yet whether to keep them or send them back--I'm not crazy about the way they look, because there's not any heel to them at all--the whole shoe is flat against the floor and I'm not crazy about that look. For this price point I'd really like to like their looks a bit more. I'm still hoping to find something I'll like as much as my Puma Zandys, which are no longer made.

This is a classic, beautiful shoe, but too narrow and short in the toes. Maybe a half-size larger would work for the length, but they would still be narrow. Sorry I had to return.
