I absolutely love the shape-up sneakers. They feel like you are walking on air. I read the directions as to how to walk in them and they remind me of the earth shoes I used to wear when I was a teenager. I am wearing them everyday now and let the toning begin.

I saw these sketchers on TV. I had to buy them so I did. Don’t ask me how they work, but they do. These shoes take all of the pressure off of the knees. The sole has a rocker sole and they make you stand up straight. I told my daughter about them. She is on her feet all day and then some in a hospital. She bought them, she thanked me for telling her about them. She said the first day she wore them to work was the first time she worked all day, and came home without tired feet. To this day she still comes home without tired feet. Buy them, you will love them. I see more and more nurses wearing them.

I LOVE these shoes. I was walking in them for over 5 hrs. the first time I wore them, and my feet and legs felt WONDERFUL!!!!!! I am trying to get my sister to invest in a pair. I am also extremely impressed with Zappos. The ordering process is very easy and the delivery is lightening fast. I will definitely order from Zappos again.

AMAZING SERVICE!!! I love my shoes, but the service you receive is unreal. The first pair I ordered arrived within 3 days and fit a little tight so I called and asked for 1/2 size larger. I had another pair of shoes sitting on my door step in 24 hours! The shoes fit great and are sooo comfortable! Not sure about getting a work out on legs and butt, but will continue to wear them for comfort. I have mild cerebral palsy and the shape ups really help with posture and stride. Love them! You rock Zappos!!!

I broke my ankle and was in two different casts for a total of 11 weeks. I purchased these on the advice from another individual in my situation. I started physical therapy and walking on week 12 and these were awesome. I walked an average of 15-20 miles per week outside. They helped stretch my calves and get them back in shape.

I love these Shape Ups by Skechers. I work six days a week most of the time. I also work third shift. I'm on my feet all night. When the weather's nice I also like to walk home. These Skechers are so comfortable. I love them. I'm 53 years old and I haven't had a pair of shoes I love so much since I was a kid. I also bought the work Shape Up Skechers and I get compliments all the time at work. Zappos is the best. You receive your orders in record time. Thank you Zappos. One more thing, they run true to size.

I am not sure if these actually tone your legs, but they are very comfortable. They make you feel like you are walking on clouds. I already had the white. Now I have black too so I can wear them with more outfits.

I bought these shoes two weeks before going on a two-week walking tour of Italy. I also was diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis right after my purchase. These shoes were the only shoes that made my feet happy because you don’t have the normal constant pressure on your heel. The construction gives you a "rolling" effect. It was interesting to stand still and take pictures, I kept doing the rolling backwards thing until I was more used to them. There was no "break-in" period. They were comfortable right out of the box. I was able to tour Italy with little discomfort. It also gives your legs a workout and improves your posture. I now wear them everywhere including the gym. This shoe was the best purchase I’ve made. I now have two pairs and am looking for a third to switch up the colors.

LOVE THESE SHOES! Hate the look, but boy oh boy do they do the job! My podiatrist and my orthopedist suggested I either get these or the MBTs. They said to start here and see how I fare. Well, after 3 re-construction surgeries on my ankle, followed by a torn Achilles tendon, NOTHING was allowing me to move out of the cast/walking boot. After a few days of getting used to these shoes, this is the best I have felt in years! Decreased pain, decreased swelling, and yes, decreased back pain YEAH. After reading reviews, I ordered a half size up and it did the job.

I bought these for my daughter who is on her feet all day long working in a bakery. She loves them, feels that they are improving her posture, and she can wear them all day without fatigue. As for me, the first I ordered was too small. When I reordered, the new pair was on my doorstep the next day! Extraordinary!

I have ordered from Zappos 3 times, and have been very happy not only w/ the merchandise, but the speed at which my things arrived! I love my Shape-Ups! I have "problem" feet. As an RN often working 12 hour shifts, I am on my feet a lot. I can wear these all day. I tell people I feel like I'm walking on marshmallows. Excellent arch support, which I need for my flat feet. I am an exerciser, so didn't notice a difference in my legs or butt, but co-workers who have them tell me they do feel their hamstrings and butts feel firmer. I wore them at home a couple days initially for 2 or 3 hours. They take a little getting used to, not long though-maybe an hour. I ordered them on a Wed. evening, and they were at my door the next night. Thank you!!

These shoes are WONDERFUL. I have serious arthritis in my feet, ankles, and knees. I’ve worn two models of New Balance for years, with orthotics. It was time to buy new shoes, and a friend was raving about these shoes that she and her husband had each purchased. Then I saw them on TV. I wouldn’t have been enticed by the TV ad -- who knows whether ads are entirely true? But seeing the shoes and hearing my friends’ comments sold me. They arrived almost immediately, and I fell in love with them! Even without the orthotics, they feel wonderful. For the first time in years, the terrible knee pain is almost gone. They are great for standing. I can stand and cook again. A week later, I ordered the Skechers Sleek Fit ShapeUp shoes. They’re nice enough--but not the same wonderfulness as the Optimize. The Sleek Fits are sort of Mary Jane-ish, a bit more "dressy." I wear them some of the time, but I wear the Sleek Fits every single day!

I have had more people ask me about these shoes when I wear them. They are very comfortable and seem to make you want to walk more. They make you "bouncy" and cushion your step extremely well. As far as the arch support goes, I wear a prescription orthotic and when you take out the insole, it works very well.

I wear the Sketchers Shape-ups now while walking on my treadmill; however, they do take some getting used to. I read the insert material sent along with the Shape-ups and wore them around the house for a little bit each day to get my body used to them; they make your body stand in the proper manner and alignment. They feel great on and while walking, and they were true to my size because I wear heavy workout socks; with thin socks I would probably go 1/2 size down. They do seem to give me a better workout while walking, and the cushioning effect is well worth the cost. Besides, the free shipping is a great incentive.

Skechers Shape Ups are one of the best shoe purchases I have made in quite some time! I am an Assistant Manager of a distribution center and I am on my feet for 10+ hours per day on a cement floor. I started wearing the Shape Ups to work the minute I received them, and my feet are so happy. I experienced no discomfort and lost 2 lbs. in the first week of wear! I highly recommend these shoes for anyone who is on their feet a lot or for use while exercising. It feels like you are walking on a cloud! I will be adding another pair to my shoe collection! This is THE most comfortable shoe I own. My habit has always been to remove my shoes as SOON as I get home. That has not been the case with these shoes. I have to talk myself into to take them off. I teach 3rd graders and am on my feet all day long. When I am walking to the parking lot at the end of the day while wearing other shoes, the fatigue and pain become more pronounced. That has not happened since I have been wearing these shoes. I honestly do not want to wear any other shoe to work. Honestly. The fact that I am toning up is simply a bonus. (Yes. After 2 weeks, I noticed my jeans felt looser. A great help to my inconsistent exercising.) I would recommend these shoes to everyone who wants to finally work through an entire day without being distracted by uncomfortable shoes. Thank you Zappos for exceptional service. OMG, I love my Skechers Shape-Ups. They normally take some time to get used to if you don’t walk "heel-toe". I do, so no problem. From the time I put them on, I did not want to take them off. When you’re walking, it almost feels like you’re being catapulted with each step. They’re fabulous!

I have never written a review for anything, but for these shoes - I will! I have neuromas in both my feet, and these shoes take the pressure off them both. I have killer high arches, and these shoes support my arches like no others. I can wear them all day without feeling them, and it is great! I have terrible problems finding shoes and live in a remote area of North Carolina which is why I love Zappos. I can order shoes and wear them around in my carpeted house to see if they are going to hurt without fear of being hassled if I need to return them. I am a fan of these Sketchers and of Zappos, too!

Helps heel spur pain - I got these shoes because I have had so much foot pain in the past couple of years. I have heel spurs and wanted to see if these shoes would help. They are great. I wear them all day at work and my heels are no longer in constant pain. Since the shoe makes you walk more on the ball of your foot, it takes the stress off the heels.

I love these shoes! I shattered my knee 11 years ago and it’s never been the same since. Because of my injury, my legs and back have become weak. Thanks to my new Shape Ups I am getting stronger very quickly. At first I had a hard time. I was scared I would fall and I did. I rolled face first forward into the wall. We all got a good laugh and I paid more attention to what I was doing. By the end of that first day I was walking better than I have in years. My legs, ankles, butt and back hurt that night in bed, but it was a good hurt. I wear them every day and feel so good at the end of the day. Thanks to Shape Ups I feel like I’m getting my life back. I also have neuropathy in both feet and that too is improving because of the increased circulation in my legs and feet. BUY THEM! You will love them. Wish they had these around when I was a bartender.

I purchased these sneakers hoping they would ease the discomfort I have in both knees and my lower back due to arthritis and I was not disappointed. An added bonus is that since my knees feel so much better, I will get back to long walks and a regular exercise routine resulting in some weight loss! I was so pleased that I then bought a second pair of black leather mary jane Shape-Ups so that I could wear them to work. I do not usually spend so much on my shoes, but the difference in how I get around with these shoes justifies the expense. I highly recommend trying this line of shoes!

I love these shoes! I do a lot of walking for exercise and these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I usually buy Sketchers for walking, so I thought I would give the Shape-ups a try. They seem to relieve lower back pain by helping you walk straighter. I would definitely recommend buying from Zappos.com. I originally ordered a size 8. When they arrived, I decided I might need an 8 1/2 instead. I called Zappos that day and received the 8 1/2 the very next day! They sent me a return label for the size 8. I put it on the original box and dropped it off a UPS. It couldn’t have been easier!

These are very, very comfortable and they do the job. I wore them all day in the beginning and my shins were sore, so I would recommend no more than 45 min for a week or two. I plan on getting the white pair as well. Love, Love, Love these shoes.

I wear orthotics in all my shoes, but I don't need them with the Skechers Shape Ups. I am 60-years old and no athlete. I'd been told these shoes were going to be heavy, tiring and difficult to balance on. Not so. They are comfortable enough to wear all day, and when I take them off at night I have no foot pain - which I often have even with my orthotics. The Shape Ups needed no getting used to or breaking in. They were instantly comfortable and wearable. So comfortable in fact that I'm likely to walk more because I can do so without fear of pain.
