Love these! Would buy them again, true to size, comfortable, unique. So want the handbag to match but those reviews have found the handbags are not the same quality as the boots. This is my 2nd pair of Fry Boots. I would love a knee high but I am not that large but they won't fit my calves. Tried the extended calve but it was not styled correctly and bowed out too much, then cut in at the top....

I really, really, really wanted these boots! Problem was that I really never got my feet inside them sufficiently and comfortably to tell... zipper is short, and getting my foot inside the shoe was painful... sort of felt like Cinderella's stepsisters and the glass slippers. Had the zipper gone past the shaft and down into the boot itself, it would have worked. I was SO disappointed in the style construction. Sadly, they're on their way back to Zappos... and they were the burnt red, too... bummer!

I really wanted to love these boots - I've been looking for a fall boot with studs, not too high in the heel, that would go with lots of different colors. I thought I'd found it. They run very large, and Zappos knows this. They sent me an 8 when I ordered 8.5, and the length was fine. However, they are very wide at the heel. Between that and the fact that the beautiful studs don't show under jeans, I decided I'd have to return them. The color and distressed finish are unique, though, and I wish I could keep them. At the price, they had to be perfect.
