Excellent pair of pants! Comfortable, durable and moves well with you. I wear it when outside playing with my kids and when out running errands. It's versatile and gets better with every wear.

After reading the details about the pants, I ordered these to the best of my knowledge and they could not have fit more perfect. I will order these again.

These pants fit my boyfriend perfectly!! the material is really different and they seem tough. As my boyfriend is rough on the equipment!!!! or a 33 30 and they fit him great!!!!

Best pants I own. Super comfortable and plenty of room. The black pants do attract plenty of lint and dog hair. The lighter colors do not.

These are a great buy; five stars for both the quality of Kuhl pants and for Zappos' customer service, among other things. I bought these for my boyfriend in the dark khaki color after he bought and fell in love with a pair of Kuhl pants in a different model/color. He absolutely love these pants. They are sturdy yet still comfortable. I had a hard time choosing what to buy because every website that stocks these has images that make the colors look drastically different from site to site. I hope I can help some of you by assuring you that Zappos' images of all Kuhl pants is extremely accurate and can be trusted above any other site. Zappos, thank you for putting the time and effort in to provide multiple images for every item on your site. I cannot imagine how time consuming that must be, but it makes shopping incredibly easy and stress free!

I bought a pair of these in green and really liked the feel. The fabric is very durable; almost stiff and can be worn all day without looking distressed. Yet, the cut of the pant allows it to move with me and are so comfortable. I bike in the summer and skate hockey in the winter and they provide me with enough thigh and hip room without looking baggy. The finish of the fabric does require some attention when it comes out of the drier, but if I fold them right away, I can reform the crease without ironing. I took off one star for overall because the black fabric develops fabric folds away from the set crease that are more noticeable; almost like a stress line that has a white sheen; it is more obvious in this black color than with the green ones I bought first. If one is concerned about that, I suggest the green ones first.

My favorite working pants! Very comfy and they have a unique European (IE stylish) cut. My only complaint is the waist snap, which tends to pop undone while your moving if you have a tight fit at all. A belt helps though.

These pants rock! They are rugged yet modern design, lower cut waist, phone pocket is key, wear to work, dress them up, or go out and get dirty, warm for winter, great colors. I own four pairs and Kuhl is quickly becoming my go-to clothing company.

First, Zappos customer service is unmatched. They expedited a return on a defective pair, then worked a return on the second defective pair. On that note. Rydr pants have a fading effect. In my case, the entire right leg faded in a line pattern, and the left did not. Two cuts of material, maybe? I do know it's looked pretty ridiculous for a $$ pant. I was not expecting Zappos to work the return. But they did. Buy with confidence from this great company. Shoes and clothes are a nightmare to buy online, thanks Zappos for making is easier then it should be.

As an avid DIY'er, I bought these pants mainly for doing yard work and the occasional hike or paintball outing. I can't believe how great they are. I used to just wear an old pair of blue jeans but they were never very comfortable if there was a lot of bending, kneeling, etc. These pants are durable, comfortable and just flexible enough to be highly functional without being awkward. Some other reviewers said they can wear these to work - not sure what they do, but I work in an office and these would not fly in that environment. They look great for doing yardwork but aren't something that would look good with a button down or collared shirt. I wear a size 33x30. I had to get 34x30 as these don't seem to be available in a 33. They are slightly longer than most 30 length pants I get and I wish they made a 29 because I would exchange them. But since I generally wear them with boots, the extra length isn't that big of a concern.

I have Kuhl shorts, shirts, hats, and I love them all due to the excellent fit and function of their products. This is my first pair of Kuhl pants. Levis jeans are my religion and it is very hard to get me into any other pants for day to day wear. So far, I am liking the Rydr pants. I wear Levis size 33 x 30 and the fit is always perfect. I ordered the Rydr in 34 x 30 and the fit is also perfect. There is no room for shrinkage however, so I hope they do not. They are nice mid-weight pants, well built for rugged wear. The cut gives you lots of room to move, bend, stretch.... without binding. I must admit that I thought that the Khaki color was going to be a light tan whereas, in fact, the color is actually a light green. I think they look great anyway. They are recommended.

I have now bought 2 of these pants! The first pair were damaged when I laid down my bike. The impressive thickness of the fabric saved my legs from any road rash. I am so comfortable in them that I had to replace them. As pointed out in other reviews the button closure does occasionally open accidentally...really should fix that, but even if they don't I am certain I will buy more of these pants.

Pros: Unique ergonomic design, high quality construction, very comfortable, slim fit, good looking pant. Fits to size, slight shrinking out of the dryer, but material has some give to it. Cons: Mid weight material is noisy like sail cloth when walking and the clever waistband snap tends to pop open easily so I recommend wearing a belt with these pants. I'd buy 'em again.

I like these. My favorite Kuhl product is the Gunslinger pant. Compared to that these are slightly heavier, but more sturdy as well with respect to the material. I'd recommend.

Wonderful pants - great alternative to jeans or khakis. Favorable unsolicited comments from my wife, stepdaughter, and a woman at work so they pass the dork test. More comfortable in the fork, i.e. the crotch, than tight jeans without being baggy. Designed as a technical pant for outdoor activities, they are tough and durable. I have three colors and all fade a bit after several washings, as noted on the tag attached to the pant, but not in a bad way. The result is a good looking pant regardless of how often used. The material in this pant is as heavy as denim so it may not be your first choice in the hottest parts of the summer, but any other time of the year, it's great. (You can grab a pair of Kuhl Jeans, a lighter weight pant also sold by Zappos, for hot climates.)

Great pants, fabric quality is bestever, only bad thing is, When washed the color disapears in bright tracks, no matter how carefull you wash them.

I love these pants - they fit me perfectly, sitting on my hips not too high, not too low. They canvas material is nice and heavy, if that us that what you are after.

What can I say? These pants are super cool (pardon the pun), comfortable and stylish in a low key way and have subtle yet neat features. Plus,you can't beat the Zappos price. I love them. And Zappos.

Initially I thought these were great, but 2 major shortcomings make me wish I'd never bothered. The color fades after the 1st wash, which I gather is intentional, but I don't care for the look. I wish they came that way so you could see before purchasing how they were going to look after washing them. But the biggest issue is the button at the waist. It constantly comes unsnapped. I'm a skinny guy and these pants fit me properly, but almost every time I bend over the snap comes open. It got much worse after the 1st month. I can't believe a pair of pants can't get something so fundamental correct. It's too bad because besides these 2 problems, they're great pants. The snap annoyed me enough to write this review and I'd never buy another pair of Kuhl pants because of it. Look elsewhere.

My husband loves this brand. I ended up purchasing 3 pairs (different styles) & he is comfortable in all of them. Well made. No longer will I be frustrated trying to find him pants (because he won't shop!), I've found the perfect brand!

Beware! These jeans look and feel great. However, the zipper will not stay up for all the tea in China. And that's just where Zappos can send them - back to China.

These have a great fit; the size is accurate. I can really can see and feel the high quality. I will buy more Kuhl pants and products.

These are very comfortable pants! They fir true to size. The cell phone pocket works very well. The color is pretty much black, but they seem to fade slightly with use.

I'm an athletic 5 feet 10 inches, weighing 187 pounds. I normally fit in pants that have a 33 or 34 waist in order for the thigh area to fit comfortably while the waist remains somewhat loose. Upon trying these pants at an REI, I tried both the 32 and 34 inch waist and opted for the 34's. A week later, after trying it on at home several times, I decided to return them as the waist and overall fit seemed too large. As soon as I learned that Zappos had a 33 inch version, I ordered two pair. I washed them both and used low heat to dry them. They fit much better as they shrunk a bit but not enough to make them tight. I suspect had I dried them on high heat, they may (and still may) have shrunk even more, but again, not as much as you may think. So far, I'll say you can expect some shrinkage based on how warm the drying method is. But overall, a 33x32 fits me nearly perfect although the length is borderline too long (rather have too long than too short). Sorry about the long rant but felt the need to clarify the shrinking issues. The pants wear incredibly well with time and you'll notice their comfort, quality and ruggedness from the first time you wear them.
