Wow, just received the grey soft vintage color boots, they are really nice, too! I feel very lucky as there are no boots left in my size now. I was going to pick between the grey and the whiskey color as I didn't think I needed two pairs of the same boot. However, they are so nice I may just keep both. Frye has outdone themselves on these boots. The only drawback I can see is the slick leather soles.

I don't know where to start with this lovely boot. I ride horses and wanted a boot to do that in but that also reminded me of a pair of oxfords my uncle wore many years ago that I also lusted for. And here they are. I put this boot on straight out of the box and wore them all day. I have never been able to do that due to a huge bunion on my left foot and back and hip issues. Amazing. Soft, supple, molded to my feet in a snap, no blisters. What can I say? I have boots that I've had for months that haven't felt this good. I read some of the other reviews, particularly the negative ones and have to say I had none of those issues. Even down to the one that had missing stitches, I checked these boots over with a fine toothed comb. Nothing. I really did not want to take them off. I even like the sound of the sole and heel when I walk. They fit perfectly with my spurs when I rode, the slick sole which I know some don't care for, are actually a good thing for me because my foot will slide right out of the stirrup and I don't have to worry about panicking because I can't remove my foot fast enough to avoid getting drug by my horse. Older cowboy boots always had a slick sole for that reason. Not until recently when folks wore these boots all the time in the city life did we start requesting the lug and rubber soles for concrete, stability. And speaking of stability, the lower heel, which also helped my back, hips deal with a new boot, also offered much more stability than the higher heels. Thank you for doing the slick sole and low heel! The camel color I got is luscious, noticed by everyone due to its uniqueness, compliments right away. I plan on using these boots, not coddling them and I am hard on my riding boots, I am glad they said "work boot" on the description! They will get wet, they will be in manure, they will have a lot of miles put on them. Will let you know how they hold up. Am putting them on again, day three, as we speak...sigh. They're heaven, believe me. Everything I could have ask for. And a Frye to "boot"! Thank you!

Usually a size 8.5, I have avg/narrow feet, my 2nd toe is a little longer than my big toe and avg/ high arches. I love this boot. 8.5 in the camel color looks great and I like that it doesn't fake it with a zipper. Top leather is so soft. Ready to wear.

Whoa! I think I may have found the perfect boot! Or should I say moccasin? The leather is so dreamy, soft and moccasin like, the fit is true for Frye, slightly narrow and a little long in length. The craftsmanship is unbelievable! Made in Mexico is like wow Quality, that's where a lot of Cowboy boots are made and they are really made well. I have them on and really don't want to take them off! So comfortable! Unbelievably so! The only downside is the slick sole, I will have to rough them up on my gravel driveway!

Unlike many Frye models, this one runs narrow and is less bulky than some. The leather is beautifully finished, but a little dressier than I hoped for.

Really good looking boot; adds veritas to whatever you wear it with. Only critiques are that you have you get rubber soles on the front or else you're bound to slip and fall immediately! Also, the metal "Frye" plate on the sole is bound to come loose and fall off--just let it go.

These are great boots. They are made from soft leather. I love the leather inside! They are very comfortable. I have worn them in the pouring rain and my feet stayed dry. I bought the gray ones.

These are lovely, feminine, lightweight boots that fit neatly, without bulk. Soft leather, nice leather laces - I can see they're going to break in beautifully. But beware the sole - super slick, and needs roughing up, especially when walking on smooth pavement in the rain. I'm considering locating some kind of adhesive rubber sole, because I feel a little insecure in them right now.

This is such a great boot. I debated it for a while due to cost but Frye and Zappos never disappoint. They go great with jeans, leggings and dresses. These are not the most cushioned boot but they are durable, comfortable and leather inside and out. The 6.5 fits like a glove with normal socks. Love the purchase.

These are so great. I was scared they would be a bit uncomfortable at first, but they broke in quickly. Love the look and the comfort of this boot - I wear them almost every day.

These boots are super cute. Like most Frye boots, they are going to take a while to break in, but I love the way they look and know that once I have worn them in they will be incredibly comfy!

Fabulous! These boots not only feet supple and rich, but they look to die for. A classic brown boot, I love how they tie very tightly around the ankle.

I forgot to mention that these are not really work boots even though they are so well made. Such soft garment leather is not what you would say is tough enough to be considered "work" boots!!! I guess it depends on what you do for work, if you work inside and don't have to brave the elements much this would work just fine!!! Much more stylish than work related for sure!!! Enjoy! This is one time when you get what you pay for! I would like to see the gray soft vintage in my size 11 please. Thanks Zappos They're the best and that's that!!!

This shoe does run a 1/2 size large. I'm a 6.5 and ordered a 6. They fit perfect. (Frye company told me they do run 1/2 size larger.) Great boot. Does need some time to break in; they seem like they will last forever.

These felt great! I have a wide foot. With a few pairs of Frye boots, I need a 9.5, but the 9 is perfect! They're a great classic style that will be in my closet for years to come.

Beautiful and classic boot. Excellent craftsmanship. Wore for an hour around the house just after they arrived and they felt great. Exactly what I would expect from Frye.

I brought this boot in black, love the style, fit, and comfortable. I love Frye boots. I needed a boot that laced in the front, this boot is perfect with the soft suede above the ankle. Great buy!

My favorite boots. I have them in brown. I love the vintage styling- these work perfectly with skirts, pants, and shorts, and are much more interesting and unexpected than the typical cowboy\/ tall riding boots style. Impeccable workmanship and quality, as per usual with the Frye brand. These fit perfectly and were comfortable straight out of the box. The only drawback is the fact that there is very little traction, but the leather sole is beautiful nonetheless.

This is a comfortable, well made boot, and fashionable too! Mine fit me very well, no break in period needed. I feel good in them, they are light enough, and sleek enough not to feel "clunky" like some boots do.

Really enjoy this boot, but definitely have some qualms with the overall quality. The Frye brand plaques on the bottom of the boot came off within a week of wear. Pretty upsetting for the price. They are not terribly comfortable in terms of arch support either. Nervous the rubber heel will wear away easily. I would still recommend these boots because they are stylish, soft, and overall a nice addition to any outfit.

These are amazingly comfortable shoes right out of the box. Also, found them just as attractive as expected. The only issue I've had with them is the soles only lasted about 3 months. While these are the type of shoes you expect to replace the soles on about once a year, 3 months is pretty piddling.

I bought the Erin Workboot about a month ago and am fairly satisfied with the boot. Lightweight, wonderful color, and great details. I wore it every day for about a straight week. I wore it in the rain and it dried nicely. I don't suggest getting the nubuck wet, though. It's a very warm, but bright brown that goes well with a lot of my clothes. It's a nice masculine "flair" to an outfit. There is no friction on the bottom like my other pair of Frye boots. This type of style doesn't have rubber bottoms, but I found it quite annoying until I finally scuffed it up enough (it took me two weeks). My biggest complaint is that the emblem underneath the boot started to fall off. It was my favorite part because it's a nice detail to the boot, but I already lost one nail.

As you'd expect with leather shoes, they're a bit stiff at first, but not uncomfortably so. The cushioned innersole is great. It's not removable, though, so if you need orthotics, they might not work for you. I usually wear them (orthotics), but these seem to be just fine as they are.

Nice enough boot, very soft leather, but not terribly flattering -- due to low heel and long toe, the overall look is just rather blah, at least with jeans, although they might look cute with a dress or skinny jeans (but only if you have small feet). Also, not much cushioning or arch support to speak of, and given the softness of the leather and the slick sole, these are definitely not "workboots."
