I wear a 6.5, but this one was too small. Also, there are pieces of leather sewn into the inside of the shoe that bend down when I put my foot in. Very frustrating.

I bought these shoes because a family member of mine is a huge Frye fan, and I really wanted to get some classic black boots to dress up or down. These absolutely looked the part. Unfortunately I have to tell you that these are probably the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever owned. I wore them out one night, and my feet hurt for days afterward. They are really narrow and have no arch support at all. I can't even wear them. Huge bummer. Now they sit in my closet looking great, but feeling terrible. Hope they fit you, because it sounds like a lot of people liked these boots from the reviews.

Just OK! I ordered 3 pairs of Frye boots in a lace up style. I didn't like any of them, but of the 3, these were the best. The style was cute, and these were better quality than the others I tried. These ran long in length and slightly narrow in the toebox. They had little to no cushion and no arch support. I didn't care for the leather soles...super slippery. I about fell down on the carpet and tile in my house. I think the lug sole version would work better for me. Had the fit been correct, I might have considered them, but they did not feel like they'd be comfortable anyway, so I'm not going to re-order a smaller size.

I bought this pair of Frye boots as a splurge at the end of January before leaving for a semester abroad in Europe after reading multiple reviews on their sturdiness. The boots were great at first, albeit a little lacking on traction a given with the leather sole, but soon afterwards the metal embellishments both fell off. I was a bit disappointed given how much I had paid for the shoes but figured it wasn't that big of a loss since no one looks at the bottom of my shoes. Fast forward a few months and the next thing I knew the bottom of my left sole has a huge hole in it. I was in complete shock. I know I walked quite a bit in my everyday life in Europe, I could not believe that a pair of boots at this price would break faster than a pair of cheap $20 boots I had worn through rough Wisconsin winters. I'm really disappointed in these shoes and am very upset that they did not turn out to be worth the extra money. If you need a pair of boots to look nice and pretty but won't offer much practicality in terms of walking around, look no further! But if you're looking for a durable pair of boots worth the extra money, I would direct your search elsewhere.

I was so hoping to love these boots, but they looked much more bulky in person. The laces start far up on the footbed and make the whole toe of the boot look enormous. They looked like Ronald Mcdonald clown shoes on me. I wear a 7 in almost all boots and these were about a full size too big on me. I have wide feet and do not feel that even in a smaller size they run narrow at all, as some other reviews stated. Sadly I am returning them and may try the Jillian lace up despite the inside zip that I am not a fan of.
