I love these shoes. Very nice soft leather. I got them New Years Eve afternoon and wore them to the party. Very comfortable. They look good with jeans and dressier pants for work. In the spring and summer I intend to wear them with shorts and skirts. Worth the money.

I was really pleased w/these shoes when they came. I followed the recommendations of the previous reviewers and ordered a 1/2 size smaller which was right on target. The shoes are as comfortable as a flat can be and look good. Additionally, the lining is one of the few that not only has eye appeal, but is an integral part of the shoe and thus doesn't stick to my foot and pull out of the shoe when I take the shoes off. I'm a very happy camper. Thanks, Zappos, for making it so easy to order them.

I ordered the Born Adeles to wear at our New Years Eve party. I knew I'd be on my feet a good share of the evening. The shoes were so comfortable, very supportive and very fashionable. I received several compliments on them.

Fit is excellent - true to size. Good arch support and love the color. Goes with many outfits. Also, love the fashion touch of gathering at the base of the toe. As usual, Born brings quality.

This is a perfect fit! I haven't been able to wear much since the weather has been brutal! These are very comfortable.

These are very comfortable shoes. I have them in brown and black and love them. They are easy to slip on and dressy enough to wear with a skirt. Born shoes are great, especially for people who have wide feet and don't want to squish their toes!

Love this shoe! I ordered this shoe in brown and loved it so much that I ordered another pair in the off white. The leather is so soft and supple. The insole is cushioned and supportive. These felt great the moment I put them on.

Wow. I love these shoes. I usually wear Born to work in because they are so comfortable. Most of the Born styles I must admit are a bit clunky, but not these. This style is very pretty and yet it has almost the same level of support as my other Borns. Great shoe. I love Zappos, best service in the world.

I purchased two shoes and kept the size I typically wear. Based on reviews, I purchased a size smaller too. Not great for walking around Europe. Cute with jeans. Overall, happy with purchase.

It's often difficult for me to find comfortable flats since I have flat/narrow feet. However, these feel very comfortable and look cute -- not an easy combination to find. I bought them in both brown and black. Highly recommended!

Because I have bunions, I'm finding it increasingly difficult to find stylish flats that are comfortable, due to how the shoes are cut across the width of the toe box. And unfortunately, these flats were not the solution for me. The length of the shoe was true to size (9), the height of the ankle was perfect and the interior padding was comfortable. But for me, these flats were too tight in the toe box area, and not likely to stretch due to the detailing at the front of the shoe. If these had also come in a wide, I would try them again.

I really love the look of the shoe. It looks great with a skirt. It has nice cushioning in the bottom that makes it comfortable. The only bad thing is that it is a little tight in the toe, but it seems to be stretching a little to make it more comfortable.

Had great hopes for this flat in black. However, the top front of the shoe is definitely longer in front than a brown shoe, same style, I already have and longer in the same manner as a white flat I ordered and received the same day. That half inch made the shoe look different, to me not in a good way. It is a very dark, shiny black color. Thanks Zappos, for your great service.

Unfortunately, I have to send this shoe back. I really wanted a true "white" flat. The color says "white" and the picture of the shoe on-line shows it is "white," but it is definitely not a true "white." I would say it has a very, very light grayish tone to it. If you want this "off white" color, it will work for you. I already have this shoe in brown and it wears well, although on the brown pair I have, it stretched out crazy all by itself and I don't wear it much. I bought an insole for it to make it fit so I could wear it. Without the insole, no way. I was prepared to do the same for this flat, but since the color won't work, bye-bye shoe. Zappos is always terrific to work with. Had to rate it a 4 overall because the color was not a true white.

Ran a half-size larger than expected. Considered getting smaller pair, but decided I didn't like the weathered looked of the leather with the variations in color and was unsure about the breathability of the footbed.

I purchased these shoes for my daughter. She is wearing them for school and work, as well as for the commute which is a 40 minute round trip walk. So far, they are comfortable.

Well made, they are like a dream, so comfortable, they are a little spendy, but worth it well done Born!

I cannot get over how comfortable these shoes are! Normally ballet flats take a minute to break in, but these went straight from the shoebox to my foot and out the door with no problem. The leather is very soft and the support is wonderful. The toe is a bit more oval-shaped than I expected, as I prefer a rounder-toe, but everything else is perfect. I'm usually in between an 8.5-9 so I ordered the 8.5 and they fit beautifully.

I love these shoes, but had to return them because they run a good half size too big. I got a pair half size smaller and am loving them. I am buying a second pair in another color.

Loved the color, and the look, but the shoe was very loose in the heel area, and would move up and down on the area a lot.

I like these ballet flats very much and have owned them for over a year now. As others have mentioned there's no arch support but they are nice and wide at the ball of my feet but slim at the heel, making a great fit for my type of foot. My only problem with them is that the inside lining is synthetic so my feet get stinky. Also with the moderate use (maybe once a week if that) they've seen this past year, the insole is falling apart. I'll have to find a new insole replacement soon. Other than that, I would definitely buy these again.

Cute shoe. I have high instep/arches and the throat of the shoe cut into my foot a bit. I wore with heavier socks for several days before my trip and the shoes were okay - some pain after 10 hours of door to door air travel. Fair arch support but I attribute that to them being a flat. A flat is flat. Not the support of a clog. For a flat, these are cute and comfortable if not wearing all day.

These are the comfiest flats I own! They have some arch support and are cushioned in the foot bed. They fit true to size and stretch slightly after worn a few times. I highly recommend them.

Not exactly white but the shoe is fabulous, but then again it is a Born, most comfortable shoe in the world.

These shoes are very cute and very comfy, but the size 9 is actually a Euro size 40.5 on the box. I usually order a Euro size 39.
