What a beautifully crafted pair of boots. The leather is supple and richly colored and it kills me to return them. Unfortunately, they are a little too tight in the toe box.

I ordered these a half size down from recommendations - the back of my feet were swimming while the front was too narrow. I'll order my size and see what happens. They are gorgeous and smell great, though!

This is a great shoe. Very comfortable, though a little stiff. I expect that to change over time. It looks great though, and I can walk miles in it. The leather is beautiful and I've gotten many compliments. I just wish it were a tad taller. It hits mid/upper calf, and I prefer boots that hit fully upper calf. I'm pretty short (5'2), so it still looks good, but this could be an issue for someone taller.

Definitely needs breaking in! Very stiff but so gorgeous I'm willing to go through the pain. I wear a size 5-6 depending on the shoe, and bought the 5.5. My heel does slip, which Frye said is to be expected, so I'm just going to add heel grips to minimize slippage. But it is the classic look I want in the color and style that I want, so I will deal with the initial discomfort.

So close...thought this would be THE boot however, there was a seam that hit just at the back of my instep on both boots making them uncomfortable to walk in. I tried an insert but it did not eliminate the pressure from the seam.
