My 7 year old dark purple Vans needed to be replaced- salt water, bbq sauce and grass stains had taken their toll! Easily ordered on-line, quick delivery with easy tracking- only to be disappointed with the color. Not "dark purple". The Authentics I received were more raspberry colored! Took into my local Vans and the friendly staff easily exchanged for another pair in a different color. Hopefully black will hide future bbq sauce stains!

I like sneakers with dresses, shorts, and jeans. I love white sneakers, but I have kids... This French Oak color is such a perfect neutral and looks good with everything from distressed jeans to mini and maxi dresses. Comfort-wise, they fit true to size for Vans and have the same solid, flat insole. I still can't figure out with all the insole technology and the type of insoles the kids shoes have, why I must suffer in discomfort or buy insoles to make Vans work. Love the style, but point off for the lack of comfort.

A little big. Should’ve returned them for a half size smaller, as they’ve stretched out even more with time. Still wear them anyway, and get compliments on the fabric/color. Casual and every day wear is great, but they have no arch support whatsoever.

These shoes are very cool looking. I feel like I need to be gentle with them though as the small striped molding along the top edge of the foot bed has come loose and cracked which looks quite poor when flexed. Shoe still feels nice to wear after about a year. Short lacing makes it feel more like a slipper than a shoe. Sole has sadly gained more wear than expected.

Umm? Almost what I wanted.
I've had and enjoyed other Vans shoes, so I ordered these without too much hesitation. These particular shoes fit great and are very comfortable. I ordered the "True White/White" checkerboard pattern. The colors look more like "True White/Lavender" checkerboard pattern. If at all possible, try to order a color that you've seen and liked in person, but order whatever size you normally wear.

The shoes for summer!
I got these shoes in the blue flower pattern and they will be a staple this summer. They are especially appreciated because they draw the attention down from my big pregnant belly! Only problem would be that they don't look good with socks, so a little blister the first time out.

The shoes are a pretty good deal. Great comfort, easy to rock without socks, but the quality has appeared to decline since the good ol’ days. The rubber on the heel has already begun to disconnect from the shoes. Other than that, no complaints.

These are my go to shoes. I've worn them for 20-30 years. But this may be my last pair. The quality and fit are inconsistent at best and its gotten so they've become so uncomfortable and ill fitting that I can't justify buying them again.
