I absolutely love this jacket. I was able to try it on in Patagonia before I purchased it from Zappos so I knew it fit. The jacket says slim fit; however, it is plenty roomy. I ordered an XL and it's true to size. I can fit 2 layers under it easily. I highly recommend.

I absolutely love this coat. I originally ordered the Down Sweater full zip hoodie but was unhappy with the fit. The small was too short in the front and the medium was too big around. I am 5'8" 130 pounds. This coat is the perfect length and extremely flattering due to its slimmer fit (versus the boxy Down Sweater). It is exactly what I want - I can wear to work on blustery days, but can also go to the grocery in my casual clothes. I love it!

I bought this coat for my mom who lives in Russia, Moscow. So we needed something warm, light, stylish, modern, great fit and young look, because my mom is very young woman with sport-chic dress style and sophisticated taste. So the coat is perfect. Great fit, light and warm. She is very happy to get it and she wears it almost every day in Moscow. The size - I ordered first L but it was too large for her and I changed for M - although my mom's regular size is 4-6. So it's quite "roomy". My advice - to buy it for sure. It's a perfect remedy in cold weather and a sign of good taste. Looking forward to buying a long coat from Patagonia.

This is my favorite down jacket ever. It is so warm with no bulk, and fitted just right through the waist. It is a much better fit for me than North Face. I wear an XS, am 5'7" and North Face fits too baggy and too short.

Love this jacket! It is very flattering but also very warm and comfortable. Will wear this for many years to come!

I wear this jacket every day in Seattle. It's perfect in the rain and I feel prepared for the rare snow. The hood is a bit large and somewhat an awkward fit for when it's raining; my face gets wet. It keeps me warm and protected. I could live in it. It's also flattering. I love the fleece lined pockets and how the zipper unzips from top and bottom. Excellent purchase!

This "puffer" is exactly what I was looking for. I comparison shopped this one and one from The North Face. I love it. I love the color (blue). This is a slimmer fitting jacket, so it is snug on me without wearing any bulking sweaters (which I don't have many). I'm 5'6 and this jacket hits me at mid-hip. The fabric is very nice also. This jacket is worth the price, very impressed. I finally realized you get what you pay for.

My husband bought this jacket for me as a gift. He hit the jackpot! This jacket is not only stylish but it is not the bulky type typical down jacket. I am always cold and this jacket I found was perfect to keep me warm and toasty! Love love love this jacket! Well worth it. The style is also very flattering considering it is a down/winter jacket.

I live in Alaska, and as surprising as it may sound, its been pretty warm this winter - 20's mostly. I'm a very chilly person and finding something to keep me warm is a challenge. I wear this coat daily, mostly for getting in & out of the car but have used it for walks and sledding and have been pleasantly warm. I'm 5'7", medium frame and weigh 150 lbs. The large is plenty big to layer when needed while fitting just fine with only 1 layer too. I love that it covers my back side and has the attached hood that looks like a collar. My sister-in-law was impressed with the look and ordered one too. She is finely boned, same height and medium fits her perfectly. I love how light-weight it is and highly recommend this coat.

I'm from Sydney, Australia and came to spend Christmas in Chicago. I was worried about how I was going to stay warm but this jacket is amazing. Warm, great fit and it doesn't make me look like a giant marshmellow! Other reviewers have complained about the snaps that fasten the jacket but I think they are fine. Overall, I consider that this was an excellent purchase.

This jacket is terrific! Not only does it look good, but most importantly, it keeps you really warm. I wore this to the Army-Navy game where the temperatures went down to the mid 30's with the wind chill and was very warm.

I have looked and looked for a winter jacket. I think I finally found the perfect one! So feminine and fitted, yet very warm. Love it!

This jacket is beautiful! It's stylish, not too puffy or bulky, very warm and flattering. However, I don't recommend it to anyone under 5'5". Too bad it doesn't come in petite sizes.

Best looking down jacket I've ever tried on! This is stylish and not at all bulky, looks fabulous with skinny jeans tucked into boots. I wore this in Minneapolis last week, 10 degrees outside, was fine in this coat and a hat/scarf. I did go sledding later and when outdoors for hours on end put on a traditional North Face Michelin-man-looking-down jacket, I'm not sure this stylish jacket is warm enough for hours and hours outside in single digits. It's perfect for travel, cold cities, and I've been wearing it in the Bay Area (40- degrees) and it's not too hot. I tried on many down jackets, this is by far the most flattering.

This is a cute jacket despite being a puffer coat. I am 5'2" and weigh 125 lbs. Though the jacket did seem a little fitted at the hips when zipped it wasn't too tight. Overall, I love it and didn't have the problem with the big upper arm thing people previously mentioned (and I have small arms). Very cute and warm.

Wonderful jacket. Luscious fabric. Flattering design on (unlike the photo). Rolls up into small ball; fits into sack - great pillow for traveling.

I just got this jacket by mail, and I am going to return it. I ordered a xs size. The hip size is too small for me. My hip size is 34. The sleeves are a little bit large for me.

I love it! Patagonia is the best quality and this coat is no exception. I love the length because it covers longer sweaters and the neckline is flattering and warm when you want it to be. This is a somewhat fitted coat, but that in turn makes it quite attractive and slimming..not bulky.

The color of this jacket is much more versatile than it appears in the picture. It is really a wonderful jacket. Pretty, very warm, and light weight. It can be worn with or without a hat or scarf because of the collar/hood styling. The chevron stitching of the down is very slimming and sleek too. I think it is worth the money. It brightens up the Cleveland winters and looks good while still being warm.

Everything that I hoped it would be. Warm yet lightweight and a fitted cut that keeps me from looking like a marshmallow! As others have mentioned, the hood is a little odd when up. That is offset by the fact that it is an attractive collar when down.

I really love this jacket! It is now my go to coat. I am petite and weigh 105 lbs and the sleeves are a little long but not too badly and the coat is toasty warm. I would definitely recommend it!

Love, love, love this jacket! It's very flattering, has a few good pockets (so I don't always need to carry a purse) and it's warm but lightweight. Great for running errands in and out of stores. You don't have all the bulk to carry when you want to take it off and still shop. I live in it.

I love this jacket! Amazingly warm, but not bulky; I hate big jackets because I feel like the Pillsbury dough boy, but I live in Alaska and being from Las Vegas I am always freezing--definitely worth the money. Great jacket!

This jacket is super warm and stylish too––especially for down! The only complaint I have is that I wish there were one more snap to keep the hood closed better. It doesn't stay up in the wind.
