Awesome coat! I'm 5'9 and medium built (38 B, size 8-10 dress) and size medium fits perfect. The sleeves are long enough and the coat is fitting and slimming, but leaves enough room for warm clothes underneath. It seems like the coat could be a little warmer, but that's okay. It's warm enough, blocks the wind really well, and is extremely comfortable, so it's a keeper!

I really, really wanted to love this parka. However, it just didn't work out for my 5'3 self. I ordered the small but it was way too long and wasn't flattering on me. I do not recommend this parka if you're petite. However, I am looking at the Downtown Loft jacket as an alternative. I think the material of the Downtown Loft line is wonderful and one of the warmest available out there.

This is a lovely jacket, but it was way too big. I am a standard size 6, who wears a medium in everything Patagonia and other brands. The top portion fit well, but the bottom half was too bell shaped. I went to a local store and tried on a size small, and that one fit perfectly.

This coat is quite warm and very comfortable. It's slim-cut, so it doesn't make you look like the Michelin Man. That said, it runs a bit small in the shoulders and chest. I've got a slender build - I'm 5'7", 120 lbs. - and I still had to get a medium to accommodate my shoulders. A couple of other gripes and the pockets are a bit small, and the coat is very, very, very plain. It would have been nice to have some shiny zipper pulls or snaps.

Contrary to other reviews, I actually found that this jacket runs a bit large. I would normally be a small or medium. Based on other reviews, I ordered medium. I think I might even need an extra small. My husband said it looked like I was wearing a sleeping bag!

I loved the look and slim fit of this coat. But it just is not as warm as I need for a cold NJ winter. In 35 degree weather I could feel the wind coming throughout the seams. I had to return it and look for a warmer down coat.

I just returned this on Zappos. I liked how it looked on me and it felt warm around the legs, arms and body. However, it was not warm around the neck area. The wind always managed to get past even though I was completely bundled up, with hood on! Zipping up is not very easy, and the snaps are very tight. Maybe this is a good thing but I felt like I was going to rip the coat apart when trying to unsnap. For the price tag I was not okay putting up with these 'imperfections'. I'm still on the lookout for a calf-length down coat.
