I love these shoes. They fit perfectly right out of the box - no breaking-in period. They are lightweight, supportive, and cool-looking, too -- I've received a lot of compliments on these. These are great for long walks around town while running errands on foot, or just for light exercise. They also make my wide foot look more narrow than other shoes. Only complaint would be that there was some color transfer onto the light material from dark jeans -- I believe another reviewer suggested spraying the shoes with waterproofing, which I wish I had done. I would absolutely buy these again in the future, especially given their lower price-point compared to other shoes of similar quality!

Love these shoes! So much so that I ordered a second pair! I wore them all over Europe and they were stylish and comfortable (I didn't want to look like that dorky American in tennis shoes so these were a great compromise). My feet felt great all day. I did order one size up which was a good move because they do run a bit on the narrow side. I can't say enough about these!

Great sneakers! I needed a shoe to transition into after breaking my toes. I went from a cast, to a operative surgery shoe, to this sneaker. I normally wear a 7.5, but ordered the 8 wide to accommodate the swelling in my foot. I wore this when I transitioned off crutches and back into walking. I wore it to PT and pretty much all the time until the swelling was reduced enough for me to fit into my other shoes. Now I just use these for gym workouts. Would recommend!

I love these shoes! I owned a brown pair of the 442's and completely wore them out! They are so comfy and casual enough for daily wear with jeans. I don't like wearing "running" shoes for casual wear so these work much better for me. I did get a half size larger than I normally wear which I highly recommend doing.

Love the color. I bought these shoes because I wanted a light colored (but not white) low profile comfortable shoe to wear with straight/skinny light colored pants for traveling. They are comfy and was happy they came in a wide width. I have had trouble with standard width sneakers becoming uncomfortably tight and pinching my toes, but many wider sneakers look too bulky with more form fitting pants. Not great support, but I walked all over downtown London and Frankfurt and various airports and never got sore feet.

Very comfortable, not too bad looking. Needed a fairly supportive athletic shoe that I could wear out in public. This shoe does the job. It's not as fashionable as a pointy-toed flat, but I can take out the insole and put an arch-support insert in. My usual size is an 8B, but I bought these in an 8.5B so the insert would fit. Works great and doesn't look too Little Old Lady.

Just received these today. I was looking for a low profile sneaker to go sightseeing in. So far these are very comfortable. Yes, they do run a bit narrow. I have a high instep so they feel a bit tight across the top. I wear a 5 and that is what I purchased.

These shoes were almost new out of the box when I left for Turkey 2 weeks ago and have been wonderfully comfy. I like a thin sole for walking on precarious surfaces as I feel more in touch with the ground.The thinner sole also means less arch support. If you like a thick sole, these are not for you.

I am a big fan of New Balance - have been buying their shoes for years. This shoe runs narrow. I have a wide foot but often can wear a B width, especially in an athletic shoe, but not with this one. I exchanged the B width for a D (always an easy process with the helpful and accommodating Zappos staff), and the result is a very comfortable shoe. Can wear it out and about but also for daily walks of 2 to 3 miles or other exercise. Lightweight and durable and a fun style - sort of bowling shoe.

Love these shoes for casual running around, they're very comfortable and surprisingly supportive. My only recommendation is that if your feet are even moderately wide, be sure to order the wide width shoe. I don't wear wide in any other shoes, but had to send back the normal width to exchange for wide. As always, Zappos had me the replacement shoes within a couple of days!

These are extremely comfortable for walking and standing. I haven't tried working out in them yet. They are supportive without being too stiff. As I am petite, I find that some athletic shoes are too clunky looking, like clown shoes. These are much more sleek looking and go with all of my casual clothes. I highly recommend them and would get them again!

Well, I'm working my first ten hour shift on hard concrete floors and I was fearing the break-in. These shoes have not bothered me once. Super comfortable!

Loving these. The fit is true to size. They're so comfortable I can wear them all day and almost forget I have them on. I like the color which to me registers as a sandy gray-brown. I am older, and appreciate a shoe that doesn't have neon piping running around it or a sole that reminds me of nothing so much as suction disks on an octopus's tentacle. I would definitely buy another another pair.

My mother who is a fussy, elderly, yet fashionable woman loves these shoes. True to size and comfortable. No need to break in.

I love New Balance brand shoes. I bought these for our vacation. They were comfortable the whole trip and we did a lot of walking. They are stylish, durable, and comfortable. I normally wear size 10, but wear size 11 in New Balance.

Love these! Have had a pair for many years that are too beat up to wear other than at home, but was unable to find anything similar in stores. Most athletic shoes seem huge and clunky to me and have way too much "decoration"; these are plain, flat, and "minimal". Flexible and comfortable. I'm happy!

I do love these shoes, but wish I had ordered a half size bigger. I even ordered a wide because it was all that was left, but they still pinch my toes a little bit. I don't normally wear a wide shoe so that was surprising. Otherwise, they are comfy and hold up well. My mother-in-law liked them so much on me she bought her own, too!

Great shoes. Had a much older pair of the same model and these are just as good. Spend 2 weeks site seeing in Alaska with then and no sore feet. If you are 91/2 like me I always get 10 as it is better fit with socks.

Finally after numerous attempts to get a 10.5! I am enjoying these kicks! I like the subtle grey color, versatile. Comfortable except for my problem toe. Style makes my big foot look smaller!

Light weight and comfortable -- initially a bit tight but soon stretched to a comfortable width.

Very comfy shoes! One of their first wearings was a weekend sightseeing in Montreal, and my feet didn't get tired! I was looking for a cute sneaker to wear with skinny jeans and these were the closest I could find. I think I should have bought the wide width because I noticed I'm keeping the laces pretty wide across my feet. But, I'm happy with the purchase.
