I ordered this bag for my son for graduate school. He loves it. Says it has plenty of room for all his things. Seems very well made and looks good.

Love this bag! It is actually larger than I anticipated, but works great for my bike commute; the bright color and reflectors are awesome for visibility!

This is the perfect carry on bag for airplanes and it will be a perfect graduate out of my diaper bag for the trips with the kids. I love the color (deep plum) and love the laptop sleeve, water bottle sleeve and padded shoulder strap. For my needs, it's not too big at all, it's perfect!

Nice bag. Order arrived on-time and intact. Wide adjustable strap and needed some playing with to adjust for my use. Bag can expand on the bottom and two separate pockets inside, and one pocket on back. Have not tried to carry a laptop, just books, papers. Water bottle pocket on side is great - holds my coffee thermos. Would have liked other colors, but this choice seemed easy to hide dirt over time.

This is a great bag! It has the capacity I needed with the shoulder padding and handy space for my water bottle. Do you know how hard it is to find all that together? And its cute, to boot. I hope it holds up well because I plan to use this for a long time.

This is a great bag. I love the small inside compartments that keep small items from floating around the bag.

This was perfect for carrying a huge thick science textbook, yet small enough for just one notebook. I am an older student going back to school and wanted something other than a backpack that was fresh, young, and practical. Not too big, not too small.

Bag is good, not great. A bit smaller than most messenger bags, can be a plus or negative. Zipper pocket on front flap is very small. Water if used in rain gets through zipper and holds in flap pocket, don't store papers, or electronics. Also although well padded, the pad that slips over the strap can't slide entirely because the buckle used to adjust lengt is too wide, odd design, so the way I use the bag, I have only about half the pad, the rest the strap on my shoulder, not super comfy. Seems to be made well, I use it as a work bag in a blue-collar setting and that is saying something.

This bag is awesome if you're a commuter with a laptop and you need to carry a bunch of things (pens, phone, biz cards, etc) with you - it has great pockets on the inside to help you stay organized, a padded laptop pocket, and an adjustable shoulder strap. The color and size are great and the bag itself isn't too heavy.

I have had a hot pink Half mass Patagonia bag for over 6 years and it is by far the best bag I've ever owned. It is INDESTRUCTIBLE! I've dropped it off a cliff, drug it through an airport, packed it full of stuff, and washed it countless times. There is no other brand that even comes close!

I love this bag! It is compact with lots of well-placed pockets for everyday use but can expand to hold a lot when necessary. It is very comfortable to carry even when it is full.

Good messenger bag, lightweight. I have used for both work and to travel as a diaper bag. Fits a changing pad on the back pocket, sippy cups in bottle pocket, iPad and headphones in the sleeve and a small cooler in the main compartment plus my wallet keys pens big plus is no velcro noise.

I have one of these "half Mass" bags, used for the past 11 or 12 years and it has been all over. Needed a new one for travel and looked and looked at bags, and bought the same Patagonia bag. Quality, updated design, keeping the old for a beater bag, this new one is great as well. Highly recommend.

This is a nifty little bag. I'm a working (believe it or not) string bass player. I use the bag to carry essential extras I don't have room for in my bass bag (no, not the fish, the big violin). This includes at least a couple of gig books. The bag is well constructed and made of strong material, shows no wear at all after a couple of months of gigs, and looks as if it will last forever, another reason I'm glad it works so well. It's slim, carries easily, and fits into spaces in my car where no other gear fits so well. The straps let me carry it easily and securely from car to gig and back again, hands free (well, not free of other stuff). It could be used for any number of applications where one has precious documents, a laptop, etc. to tote. Excellent bag!

This bag is the bomb! I love the color, love the fact that there is only one very small pocket inside that has velcro & the back slip pocket (not a big fan of velcro), ample space for my larger MacBook Pro (very well padded bag), plus room for all purse stuff, knitting project and more. I like the outer top zip pocket for my phone. Comfy strap!

I was hesitant on purchasing this bag because of the price, but it is well worth the investment! I am able to fit my laptop, large DSLR camera with padded case, notebooks, and misc items into this relatively large bag. Even with all the weight, it is pretty comfortable and not cumbersome during my about 1.5 mile walk to work. Inside organization is amazing! My only complaint is that I wish the daisy chains were on top, not under, the main flap to be more functional. This color is a deep marigold and is gorgeous. Stitching looks strong and is well made -- as most Patagonia products are.

I like the bag in general. I ordered the black bag with grey trim, which is oddly greenish. Despite that, I think I'll keep it. My rather large Lenovo Thinkpad fits well, along with my lunch. I'm 5'0" and the bag isn't ridiculously large for me.

This is an amazing bag. There are compartments for everything and it fits my computer perfectly (13" Macbook Air) with room to spare. The strap is very sturdy. I fill my bag up to the brim for work and even then it does not feel too heavy or hurt my shoulder.

I needed to replace an old travel bag that I was very fond of. I took a chance and ordered this bag because it looked similar. I could be more pleased. Excellent product. So well built, great organization, light weight and yet very sturdy. Far exceeded my expectations. A great purchase.

This is a great messenger bag. I was debating on this or the mini bag by Patagonia & saving some money, but I'm so glad I went with this one. Plenty of room for everything I need (holds a 15inch laptop, iPad Air, & multiple other necessities of my job with ease, without feeling too big. The shoulder strap is really comfortable. It looks great & I've gotten many compliments on it. Most importantly, I can tell it's very durable...so it should last a long time. Overall I love this bag & at the price it's definitely worth every penny.

Love this bag. When I first received it I thought it was too big and was going to exchange it for the mini mass. Glad I didn't. Took it on vacation to use for items I wanted to carry on plane. It was perfect. Plus it looks great.

I've had this bag for 10 years now. It's survived a 10-day trip to Europe, multiple trips across the country, four years in college and now five years in the work force. I literally throw this bag into my car every day, and it still is in great shape. No fraying, no rips, no tears. I love the padded shoulder strap and the laptop sleeve. Absolutely my favorite messenger bag ever.

This is a very well made bag. I used it to travel through Mexico and Costa Rica. It held my Googlechrome, my notebook and cellphone along with raingear etc. It can be used as a purse along with carry on or just carry on. Great color-does not show dirt, keeps everything organized and easily accessible.
