I cannot wear these enough! Get a pair!

My boyfriend wore his shoes out, he loves them & wears them always. I want to order him apair as a gift but the size is worn out. All i can make out is EUR 44.5 whats the US size??? Thamks!

I had my doubts because I bought them after seeing a commercial but they are AWESOME. I have large, wide, size 13 feet and I'm 6'1" and 215 lbs and the cushion is amazing. I love my leather sandals I have to replace every 18 months but these will be replacing them soon. I haven't owned the Sanuks long (bought some slippers too which are awesome) but will be buying another pair of Chibas, Hemp, or Kyoto soon...when I can decide on style, because the comfort is awesome...fits perfectly.

My Sanuks are my favorite footwear EVER! Incredibly comfortable, versatile, and stylish, I wear them at work, at the beach, and around the house.

These shoes are really awesome. I was a little worried when I first bought them because I like really wide shoes so my toes can splay apart but they really stretched out. I've used these for just about everything. I've: gone to school, the beach, walked the dogs, walked in the rain, and even gone on six-eight mile runs in them. They are phenomenal! They mold to your feet perfectly. They are great in the summer. They breathe very well without socks. They are great for the beach because there's no mesh on the shoes. The sand just falls right off with a couple bangs together. One warning is that, as you'll see when you buy these shoes, they have very little traction. It can be a bit of a problem on ice, but then again most shoes don't do well on ice. It's just something to take note of. I have never slipped and fallen in them (*knock on wood*). Another great thing is that you can throw them in the washer and just let them air dry when that smell gets kind of funky. Bottom line, I liked these so much that I bought a second pair. I wore my first pair for a year before I decided to buy the second pair. I still wear the first pair because they fit my feet so well but the sole has worn down over a year's daily use. Regardless, these are my favorite shoes and I hope that Sanuk NEVER discontinues production of them.

I stumbled across these while my wife and I were at the beach last summer. These amazingly comfortable shoes have replaced my flip-flops as my everyday, warm-weather casual footwear. They go great with shorts or jeans. I am buying a second pair of Sanuks right now.

Bought a pair of Chiba sidewalk surfers (brown) to be one of my primary chilling out, hanging out, going out to a casual place type of shoes for this summer. Super comfortable and they look great with shorts...and I try to wear nothing but shorts in the summer whenever possible. I'm sure I'll be getting a lot of wear out of these. I'll be happy with them if they last through the entire summer.

I received these shoes as a xmas gift and i must say i wear them almost everyday for school. They are one of the most comfortable shoes i own and highly recommend them to anyone. The only advice i offer other than buy them, is dont wear them in wet conditions(snow,rain,etc.)

i have worn these shoes every day since i bought them they are the most comfortable shoes i have ever had..i definitely will buy a new pair in the future... the only bad thing is that they started to fray and the sole has worn out some...but i guess when you wear these GREAT shoes as much as i do that's what happens!

Haven't had the sandals that long so I can't make a judgment on the how they wear or if they will be comfortable after 6 months. But right now I hardly notice the sandals on my feet, and walking around is comfortable.

I love these shoes, err sidewalk surfers! I want more! I have to wear business casual to work but as soon as I get home I put them on. I didn't think I would be this excited but I love love love them! I have flat feet but these are great, I normally have foot and ankle pain after a couple hours but not when Im walking on clouds

These are my first Sanuks and I have rarely taken them off since they arrived a year ago. My wife and kids made fun of me at first, but they now they wonder what's wrong if I don't have them on. They are worth every penney!

these are very comfortable the lip on the heel keeps these shoes from slipping off. i wish they had more styles of this shape i have both colors and want a third. my step mom does not like the way these shoes look she says they look like they are made out of "burlap sacks" and i agree they are not the best looking sanuk shoe but they are probably the most comfortable and after owning these for a year probably the most versatile too. ive worn these shoes with tons of different outfits i like them becasue they look so great with jeans. as a guy being able to wear sandals with pants is awesome!

My first pair of sidewalk surfers (but NOT my first pair of Sanuks!) and I absolutely love 'em! When I first got them, my kids laughed at them and called them my "man slippers" but soon they were wanting a pair for themselves! Comfortable, stylish, and totally chill, I only stopped wearing them when the snow started to fly. Will be rocking another set of sidewalk surfers soon!

I bought some brown chibas over thanksgiving. I am hooked. Today I tried on 5 styles of UGGs and they hurt my feet. When I slipped my Chibas back on , it was like heaven. I don't know if any shoe will have a chance. The piping around the heel makes this style stand apart from the rest of the Sanuk lineup. I tried on some Sanuks today with fur and they felt tight and short. I saw some Sanuk boots with fur, I don't see on this site. These feel great with quality socks...but don't think I would barefoot them, and not sure of durability. I am considering getting a second pair because these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Very stylish with jeans and cargos.

I am a big sanuk fan so I know how amazing they can be. I've bought a pair of grifters, vagabonds, pick pockets, and now chibas. As soon as i got them in the mail, I could tell that the chibas are the best sanuks I have gotten yet. Most importantly, chibas are much more sturdy than all my other sanuks. They feel more like hemp than canvas and the thick detailing around the foot hole allows them to slip off less often. I live in Chicago so I am no stranger to snow. The removal of the side holes, addition of the thicker foot hole, and toughening of the fabric allows me to wear these without any regrets throughout the winter. Chibas are the ideal off-season sanuks for those who don't like fur lining. Overall, I am very happy with my chibas. However, there are some shortcomings that aren't necessarily specific to the chibas. All of my past sanuks and my new chibas get stinky. I've solved the problem by putting some baby powder in them whenever I am about to wear them, but whenever I forget, I wish I had worn different shoes. Also, sanuks always stain or at least lose their color. The main reason I got a new pair of sanuks was to replace my faded pick pockets (do not put in washing machine). As soon as I took my new chibas out of the bag, I noticed a small stain so i got a wet paper towel and went at it. However, the dye around the stain just ended up on the paper towel and on my fingers, leaving a faint stain and a faded bloch on top of my chibas. At least my new chibas have personality. As far as style goes, these are a great blend of classic sidewalk surfer style and new detail. Chibas are a lot less nondescript and look less like "hobo shoes" as my friends call them. They are a great fit for school and city life while still looking amazing at the beach. As far as sanuks go, the chiba has set a high standard and I look forward to seeing whatever sanuk has to offer in the future.

i usually wear the Chibas during school, after school, before school and before and after playing tennis. they are basically great for everything except for use in sports (like tennis).

Easy to put on, wear anywhere, anytime, wore them throughout Europe. Very comfortable, cushioned, not painful at all. Best shoes ever.

I don't think I have ever been in love with a pair of Sanuks as much as I am in love with my Chibas. Here is my overview: The support around the ankle is perfect if you like your Sidewalk Surfers to be a little tighter around the ankle. They are tighter around the ankle than the vagabond, and feel very, very comfortable. Inside of the sandal, the cushioning is fantastic. Just like all the other pairs of Surfers that Sanuk manufactures. It is so incredibly comfortable. I got a stain on them, but I used stain remover, rubbed it in, then washed it out with cold water. The stain is gone. If you are looking for a Sidewalk Surfer that is tighter around the ankle, for a stronger fit, then go with the Chibas. I have no qualms about the Chiba, and I love them.
